I think Juicing is going to be a thing for me! I have just tried a 3 Half Day Detox Juice Cleanse & it definitely has improved me in various ways. First & foremost I want to thank the staff & especially to the older gentlemen who took his time to explain to me what the Cleanses were about. People have raved about their freeze which is a clean and healthier version of frozen yogurt. It's dairy free and gluten free. Plant based froyo. They only had 4 flavors: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, pumpkin. Unfortunately due to the high demand of their freeze from the promo special, the pumpkin was out of commission. I guess it froze over. And the consistency of their yogurts was on the runnier side. I don't want to ding them for it coz it was a special occasion and The staff was friendly and patient. My friends and I came on a Monday afternoon since it was the last day of the $2 Freezes. Food ordered: 1. Matcha Freeze (3/5) - I had the matcha freeze (since the strawberry freeze was not available). On the menu, it states that this freeze also includes: romaine, spinach, kale, almonds, dates, cucumber, and matcha. Honestly, I could taste the vegetables, and as much as I love feeling healthy, I would have preferred a stronger Green Tea flavor. As for toppings, I did get strawberries, raspberries, and the almond drizzle (which was the recommendation from the worker). Originally I was planning to buy a smoothie from Jamba after my errands this evening, but they were closed by the time I got there. I looked up nearby places and Pressed Juicery came up. I remember an old co-worker told me that this was the current place she went to for juice cleanses and whatnot. They have a membership program where you pay per month and can get special perks like member pricing on menu items and free toppings on their soft serve. Previously I tried their matcha oat milk at a Bloomingdales event and wasn't super impressed with the chalky texture and poor quality of the matcha. (Their matcha they used was very dull in color, which is usually a sign of a low grade matcha that used the stem of the tea leaf and not the main portion of the leaf.) They focus on juices, cleanses, specialty drinks, oat mills, and their unique soft serve dessert made of fruits, veggies, and plant based ingredients similar to an ice cream or frozen treat. They do not sell smoothies or açaí bowls like other places do. It is in the same plaza as the Target, next to Subway. There was enough parking near the Pressed Juicery around the time I went. Despite there being 44 minutes to closing time, there was quite a line. I sense many of the people there were loyal patrons as some were buying several items at a time or were flashing apps for their loyalty program. Staff were friendly and I got my chocolate soft serve with granola and almond butter drizzle quickly. It tasted good but I wasn't super crazy with the texture of the almond butter as it froze on top of the soft serve and became a thick mound. The freeze was slightly on the icier side, but the pumpkin flavor wasn't too overwhelming, which I liked! I also like how the drizzle hardens after a little bit so it provides a little bit of texture. They also had strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate freezes. I've tried their matcha and that was also pretty good, but I heard they discontinued it :-(. The workers said will be coming back soon, but it wasn't on the menu when I went. The flavors of the "ice cream" or what they call "Freezes" are simple: Chocolate, strawberry, coconut, and vanilla. The best part about it is that it's vegan! I saw an instagram post that showed the Pressed Juicery limited edition fanny packs, and I decided I must have one. I am a huge lover of healthy juices. Usually juice places can be a bit expensive so I don't go as often as I would like. I saw that there was a deal where if you buy $29 worth of stuff you can get an insulated fanny pack for $2. Not gonna lie the fanny packs were so cute that I was convinced to buy product. I decided to order online and pick up in store, I got to say, very efficient and I highly recommend doing so. (I love it when places have the option to order online and pick up in store). I saw that there was juice cleaner packs for $29 but I decided to pick and choose which flavors I want. Naturally the individual juice cartons are $6.75 a piece, but if you buy 6 of them the price gets dropped down to $4.84. To be honest I would not want to pay $6.75 for a single readymade juice box and I thought it was such an outrageous price but after some research I believe most juice places have their price similar to this. I guess buying the deal is definitely more worth. After choosing my 6 cleansers I bought the 2 fanny pack colors that were available for the discountes price of $2 each. After doing my order online I received a confirmation email letting me know once my order is ready they will send a follow up email. Within 15 minutes I received that email and drove to pick up my order. I did have to wait in line, but once It was my turn, I let them know I was picking up an online order and they handed me my order which was in twobpaper bags with my name on it. I rarely give 1 star reviews but I have to for the service I just received. I want to preface this and say that I LOVE Pressed Juicery. I frequented this place all the time while living in NY and have also been to the Laguna Niguel and Spectrum location many times. First off, I received a coupon QR code for a $2 freeze like another customer did in the reviews and wanted to redeem it. I was in the Tustin area and using the "Find a Location" link on the coupon email itself, I found this exact Tustin location. If the link leads me to this address, I'm going to assume that you accept this coupon. If not, why would the website list this location? So anyway, I come here, order a freeze. The guy who is taking my order is new and training. The guy behind me asked him how much a freeze was and he didn't know. That's how new he was. I watched him make my freeze which was one half vanilla and one half chocolate. He barely put any in the cup and it was SO sad looking. Like literally barely in the cup. He then seriously puts about 3 dots of cacao drizzle. I had to ask for more. I didn't want to be that annoying customer, but it was a terribly made freeze. I get to the register only to find my coupon isn't accepted. So I pay regular price--$6 for a half filled cup. It literally melted in a a second and was about 2 bites of each flavor. So I don't get to use my coupon AND get shorted in the amount of my freeze. Of course I'm not happy. Compare my picture to the other ones and you'll see what I mean. I'm more concerned about how there wasn't anyone watching over their trainees to tell them they were doing a terrible job! I really hate paying for something and not getting my money's worth.
