She took him to the hospital, and stayed with him the whole time. Now she is taking care of our horse too. She only has to go check on her once a week, but she has been going more frequently just because she cares and working with her!! I could go on and on, honestly. I've never left my cat Archie for a week long trip before, and I was worried about who could watch him. After seeing some reviews, Sugar's looked like a good bet - and... blackjack! Every time Kathlyn came, she sends a journal of what your pet was doing/what she did along with multiple photos. She also noticed I didn't have enough food to refill after the 5th day. When I told her where it was, she came back the next day to check on him (after checking with me) FREE OF CHARGE!! Can't hype Sugar's up enough. I'll be a return customer.

We have only boarded her at CityVet and after that horrible experience, I swore I would never board her again. When we were going out of town for a week and needed to find a new boarding facility, I did plenty of research. Dog House answered my millions of questions, gave me TWO tours (at different hours), was extra friendly to my four-legged child, gave every dog attention, and made me feel 100% secure leaving my pup there. Before you drop off your baby, they have to go through a two hour trial. This made me feel safe because they actually take the time to make sure it's a good fit. And yes, they do turn dogs away. Our dog isn't aggressive but isn't much of a doggie socialite. She likes humans. (we gave up on Dog parks by she just gravitates to all the humans.) So I was worried that she would be shy and scared when I dropped her off. But to our surprise, she was as happy as could be when I came to pick her up. (In case you were wondering, she passed.) When it came to dropping off Collins for boarding, they let me bring her bed and a toy. (Most places don't allow that.) Although you run the risk of the personal belongings coming back completely destroyed, ours came back in the same shape! I separated her food in individual baggies to save an extra $3 a night. When we went to leave her, she must have remembered how much fun she had during her trial because she ran through the gate and didn't even hesitate to say goodbye. (I felt like a mother dropping her child off at kindergarten...) I checked the Facebook page anxiously for pictures of Collins to make sure she was okay. I called Dog House and asked for updates and they always gave me detailed updates of what she was getting into and told me who her "friends" were. Never once did they get annoyed by my paranoia! Now when it came to picking her up, I knew I needed to write this review because not only was my child wagging her tail uncontrollably and excited to see me, but she was excited to hug and see all the staff at Dog House. The staff knew all the dogs names. (They actually knew her name because I forgot to put her tags on her so I know they weren't cheating.) The staff took care of her and were extremely helpful! Collins came back with no (additional) bad habits, still extremely happy and not a single pound lost! No cuts, bites, sicknesses, or fleas! We will definitely be taking her for day play and back for boarding. Besides, seems like she probably likes Dog House on the Trail more than she likes being home now...

The dogs being boarded are all put in a room, "Split up by size and temperament," and left there to sleep at night before play time in the backyard during the day. I went to pick up my dog after being boarded for a weekend and was told he was not welcome back because he was "Scarily unpredictable," - a sentiment I could understand for other rescues but have never heard before regarding my own dog who has been boarded many many times and has been around many other dogs. Also a sentiment I would've appreciated to have heard before the day of pick up as I was only a 4 hour drive away in Austin and would have come and picked him up if he was such a menace - a phone call would have worked just fine, I received zero communication all weekend. I would urge potential customers to stop by and check out the facilities before committing here and making sure it's a good fit for you and your dog - it wasn't for mine.

In fact, we hired another local company for a few check ins prior to Good Day and we spent our week contacting that company to get an update on our cats! I was so frustrated and booked Good Day last minute to finish the visits while we were out of town and they were empathetic to our situation and squeezed us in to their schedule. So grateful! The team provides the best updates! They always send photos and very cute and detailed messages with every visit - we actually look forward to their updates because they make us laugh and feel comforted our cats are in good care. They are never generic updates, it's always very unique to our cats' personalities and that specific visit. We have also used Good Day for dog walking and even took advantage of their afternoon hike - Wendy came by to pick up our dog Manny and sent us an entire album of photos from their hike together! It's a really special way to get some one on one time instead of sending your pup to daycare for the day! Scheduling is SO easy and they are affordable/on par with other pet sitting companies. We absolutely adore this team and highly recommend them.

When we got there…read moreEcho (who is an ESA and trained to since panic attacks and anxiety spikes bc my heart rate can jump to unsafe levels) would not leave my side and tried to hide under me. I say all of this bc the staff was so kind and patient. They saw both of us stressing and let me walk her to the back door before bringing her the rest of the back. As soon as I got to my destination they let me know she was doing great and being her silly self. They sent me pictures every day on IG to help with my anxiety and even went through old pictures to send me past photos of both her and Shadow together at daycare (the last time they went together). The care and compassion is not lost on me. They are more expensive than other daycare and boarding facilities but there is a reason I've gone here for 10 years. To some I may sound crazy, but every time I've left my life and heart behind they have cared and loved my fur kids beyond what I could ever hope. Thank you Kathy for so many years of love and to the Urban Paws team, thank you. Thank you for always loving my girls. My dog had been diagnosed with cancer just three days prior and now needed his leg amputated, ASAP. This was the closest and soonest we could have the procedure done, and I'm so grateful for it. Dr. Dammicci is incredible; kind, patient, and absolutely a top notch surgeon. I would never wish this situation on anyone, ever, but I was astounded at how cleanly the leg was removed. More remarkably, my child was already walking a day later, and three weeks post op, he's running, playing, and acting for all the world like this was all just some horrible nightmare. I'm forever grateful to the team here. They've given my baby so many years of life back. Seeing him happy and healthy, especially after all we've been through, is truly a gift.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE OR USE ANY OF THEIR SERVICES First of all, anytime you visit this Yelp page it states (And I'm not kidding, this is the actual f****** quote), "This business may be trying to abuse the legal system in an effort to stifle free speech, including issuing questionable legal threats against reviewers. As a reminder, reviewers who share their experiences have a First Amendment right to express their opinions on Yelp." I'm the husband of Kayla O., who left a scathing review after we discovered our cat had been left malnourished and desperate. This company is absolutely abhorrent. They don't return phone calls, they make excuses, they do anything they can to try to get out of caring for people's pets, people and honestly good moral standards. And you know what, Prestigious? I would love to see you take legal action on me and my wife. I'm gonna list my phone number and email below because your company has and will continue to toy with the delicate and beautiful relationships that each of us have with our pets. TRY IT. I DARE YOU. Need someone to take care of your fur baby while you are away? Prestigious Pets is the place to call! I hired a walker for Dante - he had some special issues and needed to be taken out a few extra times while I was at work. Here's how it worked... I scheduled a little meet and greet, we were assigned Jennifer (she is wicked awesome and as a side note, is a really good singer...). She came over to meet us and get the low down on what I was looking for - she took very good notes and Dante loved her. Each time she visited, I got a detailed note of what happened - pees, poos, outside adventures - I really appreciated this, as Dante's health was a little shaky. Overall, the group here is great to work with, they are quick to reply to emails, facebook messages and phone calls, and have fun facebook and instagram contests. Plus they have a large variety of visit options - which is super convenient! Sadly, Dante is no longer with me... When he crossed the bridge, the Prestigious team was amazing, flowers were on my doorstep within hours. I know I'll get another fur friend soon, and when I do, I've got Jennifer at Prestigious Pets saved in the cell! read more

David is incredible. Miller, our then 8-month old terrier, is a definite handful. David reported no trouble with the terror, I mean terrier. Miller was clearly very happy with his care. David did two 30 minute walks in the morning and in the evening with playtime and breakfast/dinner. He also came over mid-day for 30 minutes of outdoor playtime. $18 a visit was well worth it for all the attention and love he provided for Miller while in the security of my home. David also watered two indoor plants and collected the mail and newspapers. I was so surprised to see he even vacuumed my floor where Miller tracked in some dirt. I really didn't expect that, but appreciated the extra step. My main priority was that Miller was in good hands and he definitely was. I do not travel often, but when I do David is my first choice. "I used Prestigious Pets for pet-sitting services, and the experience turned into a serious security concern. The sitter, Kristin Knight, took possession of my key fob and was instructed to return it to the leasing office after the service. However, she failed to do so, and when I followed up via email, I received no response. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, Prestigious Pets would not confirm if my fob was returned. Eventually, I had to involve the police to get any action from them. To make matters worse, I later discovered incorrect charges in my account. This company's lack of professionalism, accountability, and security awareness is unacceptable. I would not recommend trusting them with access to your home." read more

I attempted to work with them, and found this wasn't worth spending money for. My dog is very picky about who he meets. The man who came out to visit did not know how to meet a dog. My pup is the kind of dog who likes to approach people on his own terms, and he doesn't like being pet on his forehead. This man broke both of these "rules". Many dogs do not like their space being invaded and hands shoved in their face, which is what this man tried to do. Its a common fault, but I had much higher expectations from someone whose living is based off working with dogs. The people at Petsmart know better. Because of this, I wasn't able to work with them. Terrible place. After my personal experience with this business I wanted to leave an online review about it. The staff is very rude and did not take good care of my dogs when I went out of town on business at the last minute. Dog mess everywhere upon return. Also the dogs water looked had not been changed the entire time and was not clean. Would not trust them with my pets again. This happened within the last 6 months but I do not want to say specifically when because this company is known to sue people who leave negative yelp reviews! They kept me updated and any questions they had made sure they communicated it with me ! They also told me how his leftovers were on his walk which was really nice to hear so I knew he was having a Healthy poop! What a wonderful service it is to have a someone there that helps care for my pooch. Rapunzel, my new baby CavDoodle puppy is quite a handful right now. But its nice to know that I have help during the day when Im gone. I do feel like a bad mommy sometimes, I just cant make the drive home from work and back during just a one hour lunch. But know that she is being taken care of. And that makes me feel better. They have a nice little sheet that lets me know if she went one or two. I use these guys for my kids about 2 or three times a year when I go out of town. They've been their when needed about 4 or 5 years now, at a couple different places in Dallas. It's better for me to use them for pet sitting over the Holidays rather than keep the dogs at a boarding place. One of them is a little shy, and the other has had some food aggression so I had to be careful. And I like that I can count on them no matter what. They recently got an online booking system. I could not be happier with the dog walking\exercise services and their quality of service. Prestigious pets have so many daily walk option from a quick visit to an extended stay for a dog walk. It is so good to know that dogs are in good hands and get the attention they need when their parents are busy at work. They also provide running services for dogs that have greater energy levels whom need a more rigorous exercise to wear them out. From top to bottom the best company/people I could have ever asked for! My dogs (Ziggy & Pearl, Boston Terriers) are like my kids and I take it that serious. So for me to leave my dogs in someone else's hands whether for walks or overnight stays it is extremely important for me to fully trust the people handling my dogs. I was away for work last week and put my dogs here to have someone take care. It was a great experience and the staff did amazing job. They made sure they were comfortable and well-cared for. The communication was great and sent me regular updates so I knew how my dogs were doing. Very responsive to questions and concerns. So I have a cute story... My dog walker did not know I was home and he was sweet talking my dog. I am talking super bubbly baby voice. They refresh water, check robot feeders, feed a can of wet food each visit and it doesn't stop there. They also pet and check on the welfare of the cats plus pick up mail or packages for us.. We get texted a picture of each cat or several and a written update on how the visit went. We have never had 1 issue with anything missing or even a picture frame moved out of place. My husband is a worrier about our lovely cat family and it puts his mind at ease using this service and how well cared for our cats are. We have a shy kitty that will hide from time to time, but YHPC sitters eventually will win her over and coax her out to feed and get petted. I highly recommend this service for peace of mind and your pets will be happier at home and less stressed. :)

I've put this off for a while, but I can't trust this place. I've had people watch my dog and have…read moretaken him to other boarders and it was fine, some even would call to say he peed or isn't eating much due to having separation anxiety. Typically he's fine otherwise. Keep in mind this is a dog that was trained extremely well and is actually pretty submissive. I got no calls from Abbie's and he would come back reeking of pee and looking very skinny due to probably not eating, along with several nicks and cuts from other dogs playing too rough and no one stopping it. And yet, each time I was told he was fine and had a great time. But the nail in the coffin for me was when I picked him up and he had a whole chunk of his lip missing and a lot of blood coming from it. I had to immediately take him to the vet to get medication to help with keeping the lip from getting infected. And of course, they wouldn't take responsibility for letting it get this far without intervening and wouldn't help with vet bills. His lip has a large part that won't ever go back to the way it was. I've attached pictures and circled where the damage was and visible scar vs. The other side of his lip and what it normally looks like. I tried one more time after and specifically asked to not let him play with other dogs in case he was the aggressor. And he came back with more nicks and cuts and smelling like pee and skinny. I recently tried a new spot for boarding, though they are a little more expensive, he came back not skinny, not smelling like anything but like he had been outside, and no visible damage to his body. I would not recommend this place at all. We went here on a recommendation from my fiancee's sister, but her dog also came away with kennel cough (from their other location) and had to get meds to help with it. Unfortunately for h,er she got one of their packages of stays and has to use them up to get her money's worth. But after says she will not use Abbie's.
