Definitely one of my favorite spots in Cleveland. I pass by Presti's almost everyday and it's so hard to not go in and get something. Presti's is a bustling bakery in the heart of Little Italy that offers a wide variety of pastries, desserts, bread, coffee, gelato, as well as hot food (mainly Italian). There's ample indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to hang-out or study. Unless there's no line there, make sure to first take a number by the door and wait until it's called. Then someone from behind the counter will take your order. It can get pretty busy so I would avoid coming in during the lunch rush if possible. Now onto the food. The pastries and desserts are BOMB and definitely their best . My favorites are the tiramisu (perhaps one of best I've had), chocolate mousse cake, and the cannolis. I'm warning you now: it's going to be hard not to overindulge. They also make a darn good mocha (my gf thinks it's the best she's ever had) and have a selection of hot food, such as pastas, sandwiches, and pizza slices, that hit the spot. Also, sometimes they provide you utensils but sometimes you have to get it yourself from the concession stand so make sure to double check. The prices are on the more expensive side but I think it's worth it for how good the pastries and food are! Overall, Presti's is an established and reputable place that has never disappointed. Presti's is a solid spot for a snack and a coffee - they have plenty of seating, both inside and outside, and run efficiently with deli ticket style ordering. I love coming here and camping out in one of the window seats to do study and people watch while people are chattering around me. They have an astounding selection, really everything you could think of an Italian bakery might have. However, a lot of the food is made earlier in the day, so in the late afternoon after pastries have been sitting out for a while it might be better to look elsewhere. You can never go wrong with the gelato or any of the cakes - this is definitely the spot to order a custom cake for a special occasion (my favs being the tiramisu ofc and the pistachio). A friend asked me to meet there today. I said anywhere else but there. I had several rude experiences. The last one was so bad that I emailed them about it. Did not get a reply at all. Numerous reviews mention rudeness, many within the last year. Corbo's has only a handful of reviews mentioning rudeness, and they are all several years old. Amazing! What a cute little bakery. During my too short stay in Cleveland I kept hearing about competing bakeries, and I'm glad I checked out Presti's. I got a chicken salad which was fresh with crunchy grapes and celery that I really enjoyed. I also got a cannoli which was rich and delicious. I've been coming here since my teenage years and this place has gone from a Naples, Italy-style (I know, because I was just there last year) small storefront bakery to a brick and mortar cafe and bakery with dine-in options on the same street, on the same block! Why? Because they bake consistently delicious pastries that keeps customers coming back with lines outside the door. You want cassata cake? No problem. How about 5 different flavored cannolis? I've been coming here since I was in high school and it's like time doesn't change. I love their cases of cookies, both large and small in size. My favorites are the small, tea cookies- chocolate ganache and raspberry and apricot lindzers. The tiramisu and other pastries do not disappoint- I'm just usually too full for them after a large meal at one of the nearby restaurants. It's also a great spot to grab some prepared food too. We walked in right around closing time, only a couple cannolis left, we bought them all along with other cookies, cheesecake, brownies and coffee. Everything looked extra yummy! I opted for the cheesecake which is all cake by the way, no crust. It was divine! Cute little place and you can tell it's one of those places that will get really busy and line would be out the door, but not on a snowy cold night. I've come here for years and years, and their bakery section is amazing. Their Stromboli and pre-made foods are absolutely delicious. The customer service is usually friendly as well... but recently (11/18) I had an experience that left me a bit shaken and sad. I was with my husband and 2 friends and couldn't wait to show them Little Italy. We decided to go in and get food to go and eat it in the park. The moment we walked in, the staff behind the counter treated us like we were not welcome. Especially the dude with the glasses and the grey mouth covering. He was rude, impatient, never thanked us for stopping in. We ordered Stromboli to go and he didn't offer to warm it for us and left out the marinara sauce completely (something we didn't realize until we were at the park). I asked him a couple of questions and he pretended not to hear me. It was very, very obvious what was happening. My friends and husband were all very upset with how they were treated and it really put a damper on the entire day. I have a large feeling it's because I was holding my husbands hand when we walked into the building (because we are gay). It was very obvious that we were being treated differently than the rest of the people around us. I even told him (mr. glasses) that he needed to work on his manners and he didn't bat an eyelash. Went in at a non-busy time. Two gentlemen working the counter completely ignored my family and we couldn't place an order. A family walked in behind us and was immediately served by calling the number system which clearly said was for busy times only and there was no one there else waiting to be served. Ok we grabbed a number and as soon as we approached the counter the other guy just left and went to talk to the other worker servicing the family behind us. We left without placing an order. The only conclusion I can reach is that they are racists that work at this store as my family is a mixed race family and the people behind the counter were white and seemed to be eager to help the white family who came in after us. I can't think of a better way to enjoy a beautiful Sunday morning than some delicious bakery and food. My family and I went out to Little Italy this past weekend and headed over to Presti's Bakery which we haven't been to in years. I forgot just how picturesque the area is and even more how delicious it was inside. It was around 10:30 on a Sunday morning and they were already very busy which means people must love the place. I mean by looking at the bakery you would have to be completely off your rocker to pass this place by. They had everything from gelato, cannolis, cream puffs, strawberry cassata cake, cheesecakes, cookies and actual food like pizza and different kinds of salads like tuna, macaroni etc. Clearly I was more concerned about the baked goods. I tried the Strawberry Cassata Cake, my family tried the Pumpkin Praline Cheesecake, Cannoli and Creampuff. The pizza was also on the menu of things we got. The pizza smelled delicious the entire car smelled like a slice of heaven. However I didn't try it myself I know my family was happy. My family loved their desserts and said the cheesecake was better than Cheesecake Factory so I think that says a lot. I loved the cassata cake there was a ton of strawberries, it was very fresh and had a lot of custard. They are definitely not stingy with their fillings same goes for the cannolis and cream puffs. My only con is that the inside is very stuffy and tables/chairs are way too close together and not very easily accessible. So if you are in a wheelchair, scooter, walker or even have a stroller it isn't the most accessible place to get around and it is very hard to get to the counter to even order and trust me you will want to order. read more

They were extremely crowded on a 3 PM Friday afternoon how to draw a number to get service ended up getting quite a selection as there are a lot of items to choose from. Staff is very friendly. got the chocolate walnut hazelnut cake the pistachio chocolate cake, cannoli cake, Napoleon, German chocolate cake,cappuccino brownie and the lemon coconut cake. to be totally honest none of them were good they werent offensively bad per se but lacked flavor. my main issue was with the Napoleon, as this is my favorite dessert. this was literally not a Napoleon. it had the traditional Napoleon topping but then the body of it was chocolate mousse and with a very very thin layer of cream and phyllo. so that was a huge disappointment. the other cakes also didn't taste like what they were advertised to especially the pistachio cake and just in general weren't very good they all had the mousse and maybe it's a personal issue I have with mousse. The German chocolate cake also just wasn't very sweet and the cappuccino brownie we a-likened to a Costco brownie it just honestly to me tasted like Betty Crocker- it did not taste special and it did not have a coffee flavor at all. I feel bad being so critical because it was a really beautiful store and the desserts are all very aesthetic but I just don't think it was worth it especially for the price which ended up being about $36. We came to Presti's and were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people in here! It almost looked like a madhouse - but Presti's has a method to their madness. People can grab a number by the entrance and wait inside/look around until they hear their number being called. Once the Presti's employee shouts out their number, customers can go to the front to place their orders. Presti's employees will loudly shout the number twice before moving on to the next number. I would have given it a higher score, but two things stopped me. First, let me say, I loved the area and the atmosphere. With COVID, it's a bit challenging, but the area has a great vibe! Being a New Yorker, growing up with some great Italian food, the best cannoli are the ones that are filled when you order, not pre-filled and sitting there. That said, it still had a bit of crunch with the shell. That said, the one thing I didn't like, the cannoli had a hint of lemon flavor, which for me was really different. Perhaps that's their twist on the standard cannoli, but I'm more old fashioned and traditional. To me, it would have been better without the flavor. Still, great vibe, lots of deserts to try! The place was crazy crowded with people not understanding the whole deal about taking a number and then calling numbers. I was on my way to an appointment at Cleveland Clinic and stopped into the bakery to buy cookies to take the nurse and doctor. While waiting in line a young man who worked there had just come back from delivering bread( I saw him walking with bread up the street before going to the bakery) Anyway he walked over grabbed two loves of Italian bread and promptly dropped one on the floor! He looked at it ,picked it up and put it in the slicer! Another customer and I were disgusted. I made a comment which he ignored! Stopped in this Sunday morning to pick up breakfast to go. Despite what other reviews suggest, the line was quite short and my food was served promptly. The pastry options were beautiful and extensive, but I chose to go with a croissant egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. Let me tell you. I think I made the right choice. The sandwich was buttery, flaky, and hearty without being greasy, which is truly an art. A simple delight. And the cappuccino was fabulous, and topped with cinnamon and cocoa. Next time, I'll definitely have the cappuccino at the restaurant, as I think it would have been even better piping hot. Always worth the wait! The cannolis are just phenomenal but never have had a bad thing there.

Just a heads up if you come here expect a long wait, even if it is not during the busy time they move at snail's pace here. They do have numbered tickets you can grab since they serve people by numbered ticket. They have a huge variety of items. Such as baked goods, savory foods, cold dishes, drinks, and more. Rude staff. I waited in line for ten minutes with three small children in tow. I ordered a simple coffee and the staff member refused to serve me because I didn't take a ticket. It would have been an additional 20 minute wait. His tone was rude and condescending. He could have showed some compassion and just made me my coffee. read more

The guy who "took care of us" was the most unfriendliest and rude person I've come into contact with for a long time. My wife and I stopped in to get some pastries for Father's Day. He acted bothered to get anything and also muttered something under his breath about my wife asking for too many items. He made us feel extremely unwelcome and we wondered what we could have done to make someone act so fucking rude to us. Honestly, I will probably never come back here, and it's a shame because we live down the road. Hire some better customer service oriented staff - at least people who don't make you feel bad for ordering the stuff the establishment provides. read more
