Just one word: "Amazing". We moved from LA to NYC and it was very painful move as we had a lot of things to pack. We shipped sofa, desk, mattress and about 30 boxes with Presto, everything was delivered in great conditions and pretty fast within 10 days, it was also door to door service, we haven't picked up anything by ourselves. The team was so fast that within 40 min, maybe even less (with all paper work btw) everything was loaded into a truck. I saw smb was posting a review about broken dishes. Well, the quality of packing is on you. Makes sense that Logistics truck will not do smth magical with delivering fragile stuff that was not packed safely! BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! This place is unprofessional, unkind, rude, deceptive and untrustworthy. Here are just a few of the many reasons I would NEVER work with this company. 1. Henry came by to do the walk through. He gave us one specific estimate. We asked then double checked. We then asked him to confirm again. He was certain there would be no alterations. We were charged $2,000 more on the day at an hour when we could not adjust because although the Pickup Team was early, the office wouldn't be open for four more hours. The Pickup Captain shrugged, unsurprised and said, "This is what they do. But, this is what it is." Not a Great start. 2. Speaking of the Pickup Captain. The now agitated Captain began to bicker with and then raise his voice at the matriarch of the house as we attempted to contact our dearest new buddy, Henry. Guaranteed Henry. When the patriarch arrived, the now surprised and shook-eth Captain somehow, through gritted teeth began to act with a modicum of respect. ******READER I know we don't know each other. But I feel incredibly confident that you don't want an Antagonistic Mysogonist waking you up at 5:30am to tell you that every single PRESTO worker that you spoke to about this entire process was lying. "So, do you want to do it or no?" He was the RE-AGITATED when he realized that ALL of the paperwork that OUR DEAR FREIND HENRY had drawn up was inaccurate. They didn't know they were packing the house. You know, for the packing and moving job that we payed for. 3. We received our items on time. Amazing. That is why they get one star. Also because I did not have a lower option. They were on time. However, there is this little pandemic out here and the Load Out Team, a mish-mash trio comprised of a Presto worker and two locals refused to wear masks in my house where I asked them to wear masks. Home Office made some excuse that if I am being honest I made myself forget because I felt so powerless. The UnMasked Movers broke 2 chairs that we expertly wrapped by their Pickup Team. After 6 months of silliness, we received less around $70 to replace personal items that were worth over $1200. 3. After continuing to unpack, I understood why they broke and bent things. The packing job. Yes, that one. the one they were paid to do that they did not know that they were doing that HENRY guaranteed. I am beginning to think Henry and I, we aren't as good of friends as he made it seem. The way they packed the boxes...? (SIDE EYE) (EYE ROLL) (FACE PLANT) It was hilarious. Daniel was beyond helpful with our move from Los Angeles to Atlanta! I got so many calls that seemed like spam, but Daniel was straight to the point and don't bug me to book the move with him, unlike other companies who would call over 10 times a day. Very professional and upon pick up everything was labeled and marked so that it didn't get mixed up with other people's items. They arrived in exactly 7 days and the driver was communicative over phone call and text the entire time which I really appreciated. Although it was a little pricier than other companies, the level of service is worth it. We haven't unpacked yet since we're still transitioning into our new apartment out in Georgia, but I didn't see any crushed boxes while the team was unloading so I have high hopes that nothing came broken. We hired these "fine" folks last year. The owner's son come out and do the estimate himself. He was off by THOUSANDS of Dollars which we were expected to pay on the spot-- day of the move. I've held my tongue out of respect for my grandmother who is the one we moved. She told me to not go after these people, but it's been bugging me for about 15 months now. The main issue with the move is that they charge by the cubic foot. On their website, they make it look like everything is packed into the back of the truck in a tetris like fashion with everything nook and cranny filled. That's not the reality. Also, unlike many moving companies out there, were very upfront about any additional charges (things not being in boxes, extra bubble wrap etc.). We used Presto Logistics for a move from Irvine, CA to Eugene, OR. Presto was great from start to finish. This company provides great service at a reasonable price. You probably do need to plan for a few extra $ at pick up based on estimates. However, the price was still very reasonable. The only minor thing I did not like was the bad attitude the pick up driver took with us when we were not at the apartment when they arrived because we were told the wrong time. This was very minor compared to the great service we received from all other employees. I would highly recommend Presto Logistics and I would definitely use them again. read more

THE BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE WITH HONEST QUOTE We have moved a lot over the past 20 years. From Los Angeles to New York City, to San Francisco, back to Los Angeles and now to New Orleans. We also have used different moving companies every time because every time, we had a problem. Not with Presto Logistics - this moving company is exemplary! They recently moved us from LA to New Orleans. A move that started safe and sound in LA and ended up with a delivery in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. These guys were amazing! They showed up in the time window that was quoted when they packed us, and showed up in full protective gear which was something that provided much peace of mind - the fact that they were aware and cared. After unloading we discovered (as in many moves) that a couple items were missing. Our lead guy, Harry, unlike any other team lead I've ever worked with before, tracked our items down, called us and immediately scheduled a second truck to deliver them to our home in New Orleans, once again in the middle of a pandemic. Harry, you went above and beyond the call of duty and we are grateful to you and appreciate you so much. Presto just move me from Los Angeles to Miami and it was overall a great experience. The movers arrived for pickup exactly when they said they would. I had a 1400 sq ft two bedroom apartment and they packed it up and loaded it in about an hour and a half total. They were truly skilled at wrapping and generally protecting the big items. They don't skimp on blankets, tape and plastic wrap. Rest assured your items will be well taken care of. They were very upfront about pricing and when it came to moving day there weren't any hidden upcharges. The movers arrived in Florida only 11 days after pickup which is a hasty turnaround for this kind of move. Also the driver was very communicative about when to expect him. Just don't use these guys. Find another mover. Everything was managed and handled professionally, from the estimate to the day they picked up our furnishings. How they arrived is a different story. We lost many pieces, valuable and ordinary, by what looks to be really rough handling. Their excuse was bad weather in transit, but come on, guys. These packing cartons were kicked and abused from one off-load to another. It will take weeks to assess all the damage and file a claim. Then the real fun begins. Funny, I guess my review was removed. First, they charged $4000 more than originally quoted. They damaged several items and after going through the tedious process of filing claims for my damaged property, the claims were all denied. They damaged my husband's quad, which they packed...denied. They damaged the reclining sofa which they packed...denied. First and foremost we trusted them because they are listed on the DOT website as a carrier vs. being a broker. The movers should up on time and did a great job packing up our stuff with care and had a 3 bedroom house loaded up in 2 hours. The foreman advised my stuff was taking up more space than estimated and after a quick call to Henry he honored the price quoted. The load showed up quickly and we had our stuff in Texas 7 days later. The movers that unloaded took their time and even unloaded the truck when an unexpected thunderstorm rolled in. Very happy with their service and would recommend Presto for your moving needs. Henry is a great guy and will take care of you. On move day, the crew came on time (actually a little early, as I was still sleeping) and finished loading stuff onto the truck efficiently within 2 hours and gave me an actual price, which is around 10-12% more than their online binding estimate. I felt that was ok as they explained why. Our stuff arrived 7 days from moving day in Austin,TX. My apartment community roads are wide enough for letting in 18 wheeler truck otherwise I have to pay $300 for a shuttle. No damage to any of the stuff, and drop-off communication and crew are very professional, Highly recommend them. The movers, especially the delivery team, damaged multiple pieces of furniture, causing over $5,000 in actual, documented damages. The moving team was rushed, sloppy, and reeked of pot. The Presto driver, repeatedly expressed his embarrassment over the condition of the delivery and promised that his boss, Henry, would take care of it. Instead, the insurance company offered $300 in reimbursement and Henry offered to raise it to $700. Paltry sums compared to the total damage. Presto and Henry, refused to take responsibility for their actions. The episode is similar to someone with terrible insurance, smashing into the back of your car, causing major damage, then claiming he is not responsible for anything more that what his lousy insurance company offers. In short, be prepared to spend a ton of money on the move, have the movers damage your items and then being given the middle finger. read more

After moving from CA to FL I highly recommend selling everything and repurchasing at your destination. The price was a lot more than the estimate even though I updated my box count 2 days prior to the move. I had to write a personal check for the difference on the day of the move. I challenged the increase and received approx $850 credit at the receiving end. I also received damaged furniture and upside down boxes despite the fragile stickers. Some items were damaged in transport Boxes with "fragile" stickers came in upside down. The metal base of a 48" round table is no longer round and a wood writing table which was disassembled and wrapped was broken. I'm in the process of submitting a claim, but .60 on the pound won't cover a lot. All in all, it was e trembly disappointing. read more

I recently had the misfortune of hiring Presto logistics for an interstate move. Our initial contact w was with a silver tongued salesman, Henry. He was pleasant, charming and a very likeable fellow who touted his company's reliability and professionalism. He quoted us a price and after a bit of haggling was able to reduce the price to a mere $9,000.00 . He gave us a binding estimate which meant the price he quoted would be the final price. We paid for crating of pictures, a piano, a fountain and mirrors, etc.. In addition, we were assured they would crate and wrap at pickup and uncrate and unwrap on delivery, placing the furniture per our directions. Moving day arrived and so did the movers and two trucks as promised. However, we had two trucks and only one driver. We were informed of this about three hours into the move by, none other, than Henry. When I told him he had better get a driver because he was pulling a "bait and switch" he became indignant. He threatened to pull our belongings off the truck and leave us stranded, a scenario he attributed to other companies during his sales pitch. We gladly would've allowed him to do so had we time to procure another mover. However we had to vacate our home per our contractual agreement with our buyer. He also said if we gave him a hard time he would charge us for a second truck. We were told from the get go we would require either one large truck or two 26' trucks, how audacious. We were forced to move with 3/4 of our belongings. To add insult to injury, Henry was unable to give us a date that our remaining possessions would be delivered. "When I have a driver" he stated callously. The following day truck one arrived. The movers unpacked most of the wrapped items, not all, and left all the boxes in a heap in the garage. They brought none of them upstairs. They dumped the patio furniture half outside and half inside the garage and left shrink wrap around all of them. They were not thrilled with the stairs. We clearly stated we were moving to a two story house. Once again we were assured by Henry, that was no problem. Certainly not for him. To our surprise the second truck arrived only four days later at 5 pm. This time I insisted they unwrap everyone of my crated pictures and the movers were a bit surprised by this request. Mario, a lovely and kind gentleman, explained he was only supposed to drop off the furniture unwrap and place it. He was unaware he was supposed to uncrate everything that was crated. He reassembled the beds but was unable to reassemble two of the three tv's because he didn't know where the stands were or the screws that went with them. He suggested perhaps another crew would come and uncrate and reassemble because that wasn't part of his job. There was clearly a disconnect between our contract and the Presto Logistics contractor. He was unaware of what we were promised per our contract. He did his best to appease us but the situation was uncomfortable for all. Additionally there were multiple dings, knicks, scratches and chips on our furniture.. The lock to the armoire was broken. The compressor was missing a wheel and the oil drained out. Tape remains adorning the furniture tops, and the list continues ad infinitum. I have written this lengthy review in hopes that no one else has to endure this unnecessary aggravation. Please do not hire Presto Logistics for any long distance move. They are far from professional, exceedingly unaccommodating, and worse than that apathetic to the needs of their customers. They threatened us, taking advantage of our vulnerability They did not honor their contractual agreement. I'm surprised they're still in business. Henry, You are a liar. From the get go you knew we required two trucks. Please don't pretend the shipment changed from your initial viewing. We did not purchase additional furniture. You inventoried everything. If there was a change it was for a lesser amount. Nor did I ever threaten to sue you. You were belligerent and condescending . Your behavior was inexcusable. Need I remind you, you are in a service business and the customer should always come first. You stated we would need a large 52' truck or two smaller ones. This was acknowledged by a lady in your office with whom we spoke prior to the move. Please don't pretend that you weren't aware of that. Other companies we interviewed estimated two trucks as well. Please don't alter the facts. Acknowledge the fact you were short handed and as a result we got the short end of the stick. Furthermore your company's inability to deliver service per our contract is unforgivable. This is a fact you did not address. We are deeply disappointed that you choose to play the blame game in a scenario where you are 100% at fault. Acknowledge your shortcomings. Occasionally things go awry. An apology for this debacle would have sufficed. Your response leads me to believe this occurrence is more commonplace than the exception for you. read more

Our move from California to North Carolina in October of last year was a breeze with Presto Logistics. From the first meeting with Henry at my condo to give me a quote, I just knew I was in good hands. He explained why he comes out to give quotes in person because he doesn't like the customer to pay any more than they are quoted. We just completed a move from Los Angeles to Maryland with Presto! When we began looking for moving companies it was overwhelming! Lots of companies called multiple times a day but Korvin from Presto sent a text and made the process easy. Korvin set up an appointment for a in-person estimate. The entire process was very simple. We decided to go with Presto because of the costumer service and reasonable price. On moving day the crew was so efficient! They arrived right on time and finished much quicker than we thought they would. We couldn't even believe how quick they were, and very friendly and professional as well! Throughout the entire process they told us that it was a very busy time of year and could take up to 21 days to have our stuff delivered. We were fine with that since the price was reasonable and we were lucky enough to have a place to stay in between. We did have to call a few times to find out how far away the delivery crew was but when we did we were put in touch with the driver who gave us an exact day and time. The only negative thing I would say is that our things did end up arriving 3 days after the 21 days we agreed to. But as I mentioned everyone was very transparent about this being a very busy time of year and this was a cross country move. Everything arrived in great condition. At the start of the process we were so confused with which company to use, had read many of the good and bad reviews on companies and received quotes and had walkthroughs from about 5 companies, most of which were virtual, however, Henry actually came to our home and was incredible. After meeting with him, we knew that Presto Logistics was going to handle our move. The price quote was also extremely competitive. We packed our own boxes so I did not use their packing service, however, the few big furniture items, bikes, etc were all wrapped in padding. We moved from SoCal to Oregon in July, the hottest weekend of the month. When we first called for a quote we were treated with respect. We did use a video chat to go over what we wanted moved and then received our quote. We did go over the box limit and paid a bit more but it was reasonable. After reading several reviews we decided to not move old furniture and cleaned out a lot of items to repurchase for the new home which was a better solution. Time and money saving way to go. Moving crew from old home were great and fast even with the heat wave that hit but we provided them with Gatorade, water and snacks. Then, delivery was a breeze and they were great with making sure all items went to the appropriate areas. A couple items were a bit damaged but the insurance company helped with that. We had items that we were concerned could be damaged with moving but they were wrapped with care and made the trip! No boxes were lost. We are all human and if you want special or priceless items to make the trip take them with you like we did, if possible. After watching the movers load and unload the truck we did give them an monetary tip to grab some lunch on the way to their next load. :) They work very hard. We hired this company to move some of our belongings cross country. Much of that was a smooth process. However, When they arrived I asked the movers to wear KN95 masks while in the home and they refused. We have a young child, whom i was holding and made it very clear I am not comfortable with them not wearing anything in the home. the gentleman simply answered "we're vaccinated". It appeared that WE as the CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS didn't have a choice in the protection of our health. I left the house with our child in order to avoid being around them. I am around immunocompromised people for work and take the necessary steps to keep everyone around me safe as well as my own family. I am highly upset and unfortunately would never recommend this company to any one who is concerned about the current surge in covid infections nationwide. very displeased. read more

We've used Presto 2x now (still waiting on 2nd to complete) I would share with potential customers that their pre sale from overcoming objections, doing a nice job of separating themselves from their competitors (which you later find out - that's very questionable) quoting process, (Pre sales Eddy - great) to pick up - can't go wrong. Where they miss is after that. They are pleasant and friendly and seem to keep polite when you are frustrated and do a great job of placating you. The logistics team lacks follow through in our experience; Expect to stay on top of these guys, as you should its your stuff. I'd also encourage you not to make the same mistake we did - the first time they collected the deposit, 50 on pick up and 50 on delivery. 2nd time around the driver collected in full on pick up - still no response or follow up to that one. Overall - they come out with their best foot forward but I'd say it isn't consistent through out the process. read more
