An update to the Update (Jan 10, 2021): Henry reached out to us and attempted to address our concerns and work out a compromise. The items were sent late, and many of them were damaged, but Henry was willing to work with us and compensate us for this. I still don't think this is the best way to go for a smooth long distance move, however the current 4 star rating is to Henry and his customer service. In response to Henry's comments: They bill by volume, not count of items. For example, 42 large items each about 10cf is about double the volume of 107 small items averaging about 2cf each. Every item was shown to Henry beforehand, and I repeat we shipped less than he saw, so if he neglected over half the items in the estimate, that can still be considered tantamount to bait-and-switch scam. I have reconsidered my feedback as requested and here is the promised update. The day after I posted my last review our items arrived, on a Sunday night at around 9pm with less than an hour's notice. There was no communication beforehand, none of the promised 2 day notice before the items arrived to schedule drop-off. We had no idea the movers would show up that day, let alone at night. They offered to come the next morning but as we had no notice, we didn't take time off to receive them. They finished unpacking the truck just before midnight. Timely communication and keeping commitments are big weak points with Presto. The movers were tired and overworked, so they weren't very careful with our furniture. They managed to break the legs of our TV stand, which is a wide dresser, by dropping it roughly on the leg. When I tried to refuse delivery of said piece of furniture (I didn't want to use an unstable TV stand) they left it out on the porch for us to dispose of. The wheels of another small dresser were broken because they carried and dropped it on the wheels rather than using them. Glass on a picture was broken, scratching the picture, and they left it in a box of broken glass on the porch. A rice cooker in a box was broken somehow: it looked like it had been drop kicked because the bottom of the device came completely off. Our most expensive lamp was broken, spilling shards of acrylic all over our floor when we unpacked it from their packaging. It wasn't even particularly fragile. Some loose items went missing: a dish drying rack, a broom with a dustpan, a towel hanger. Our mattress which has been used 5 years and survived 3 moves and storage for a month without incident now had bends, lumps, and a slash across the mattress protector - which we were fortunate to have. I understand accidents happen, and luckily none of the damaged items were one of a kind, but they still had to be replaced at our expense, or used in their damaged state, which is really what we were trying to avoid when we hired a moving company. I've never had close to this many things damaged or destroyed when moving. If I'd known we'd throw so much of our furniture away, I never would have hired a moving company and paid exorbitant surprise fees for the volume of everything they would ship us as garbage. Overall they damaged about 68cf of items, which they charged us about an extra $476 to deliver, for us to have to dispose of. read more

I must say I am pleasantly surprised at how well this move from LA to Atlanta went! i was extremely nervous about this move bc I have heard horror stories about moving companies. Presto put me at ease from the beginning! The quote was accurate( I also ended up being under the # of items that I originally quoted), the movers were pleasant and efficient, and customer service was always available if i had any questions. They did take longer than expected to arrive, so plan for it possibly taking the full amount of days to get to you. However everything arrived intact with only minimal scratches here and there which I expected with a move like this. I recently used Presto Logistics to move from SoCal to FL and was incredibly impressed by their service! This was my first cross-country move that I personally arranged and packed; I've previously had 7 cross-country or international moves with the military (14 total crews). Presto exceeded my expectations and the people were wonderful to work with! I primarily worked with Henry in CA, who assessed my shipment - Presto was the only company I checked with (of approx. 6) willing to do an in-home assessment for a smaller shipment (~450 cubic feet/1-bedroom apartment). This was a pretty stressful move for me, and Henry was patient, thorough, and nice to work with! Sylvia, who I spoke with several times to help coordinate things, was also very friendly, as were several others. Despite my move falling during the peak summer season, they were always available when I had questions. Presto happened to be less expensive than the other companies I got quotes from (including alternatives like PODS and U-Haul) - but it was really the customer service that convinced me to trust Presto (thank you!). As I mentioned, I packed my own items, so I can't comment on Presto's packing service; however, the loading crew in CA in particular was just stellar; I've never had movers handle my items with such care (thank you!!). In the past, I've generally had good crews, but I've had a couple who were disrespectful [when it was just me/female handling it...] or didn't seem to care/really rushed when packing, resulting in unnecessary damage. With each previous move, I've had damaged and/or lost boxes; with Presto, remarkably, the only damage I had was a cracked lid on one storage tub, and no boxes were lost! In CA, my crew was Cesar and Pablo; they were polite and very efficient, yet took the time to move my possessions (and wrap/crate a few pieces of furniture) so much more gently and respectfully than any other crew has ever done. Cesar taped over each box inventory label to ensure they didn't come off (which has been a problem in the past) - I just felt like they actually cared about my stuff arriving safely! In FL, my crew was Chris, who was the truck driver, and (?Josh? I'm sorry I don't remember his name clearly!), a local hire who helped him unload the truck. They did a great job and were also very pleasant to work with and caring - and they definitely had tougher conditions in FL vs CA (Chris had just been driving the semi and had to continue after my delivery; it was incredibly hot and humid!!; there was no ramp to lower items from the truck to the ground as there had been with the smaller truck in CA; and they had farther to go with the items to unload, over grass and up a couple steps inside). I was very relieved that every article on the inventory was there (and even more relieved when I unpacked to find that there was basically no damage, which has never happened before!). Presto was also incredibly fast in delivering my shipment! My items were picked up in CA July 12th and delivered in FL on the 18th... My situation was a little unusual (I moved to NYC, but left most of my things with my parents in FL), in that my first available delivery date was the day after my pickup, and companies are legally obligated to deliver within 21 business days of the first available delivery date you provide (for almost every other move, we've needed time in transit before moving into a place, so usually, our shipment has gone to temporary storage, which also contributes to damage/lost items). I also had no hidden fees or weird requests - just paid the $250 deposit by credit card, then the balance with a USPS money order on both ends (half at pickup, half at delivery). I did tip the crews (and provided water and some snacks, though neither crew had any snacks). I had an excellent experience with Presto, especially in comparison to other companies in the past, and I would highly recommend them! I called and got somebody (Henry) to come over to come look at my stuff and give me an estimate for a long distance move. He came over gave me an estimate. He assured me that the estimate was binding. And he said "if it goes over than my estimate, it shows that I came over and I gave you a binding estimate and we will honor the estimate I gave you". Then he asks me when u would want my stuff delivered and I told him my situation. He suggested a date (May 1) and he said give or take a day or two. They will call you to schedule a date. They scheduled a 6AM pick up. They kept calling to confirm at 4:30AM and they show up at 5:30AM. And they were threatening to leave even before the 6AM time that was set. The pick up crew was 3 people. Honestly quite inefficient. I provided my own bubble wrap - because they didn't have any. Then they told me I went over 50 cubic feet from the estimate and I had to pay for it. I even left out 4-5 really bulky pieces (4 big plastic garage shelves) that was originally included in the estimate. There's no point arguing with the loading crew, so I just paid for it thinking once I talk to Henry, he will take it off from my balance or total. Henry gives me this long winding BS about how the estimate works. He said he was going to look at the estimate he wrote and see where the discrepancy was. This is all BS, because he didn't actually measure anything, he just eye-balled everything. This leaves me at his mercy and he could pretty much say anything. Basically, his estimate wasn't binding and he just flat out lied about my estimate holding if he under estimates the space I need. At this point, I thought "oh well." Lesson learned. Then comes the delivery date. I haven't heard from them. So I call. I was told to call in a few days. Wait, you're not even gonna give me the courtesy of a call back and I have to call again? So That was another lie Henry told me. "Give or take a day or two", he said. A week after the delivery date - my stuff hasn't left LA (it's going to Seattle). He says the contract says it could take up to 21 days. But during our conversation and before I signed the contract, he said that was just on their standard contract and in reality, it's a day or two from the delivery date. So there I was, close to 3 weeks without anything. When my stuff was delivered, the delivery crew was 2 people. They were pretty efficient. My stuff was complete. A few broken things like shelves. Oh well. Nothing I can do, not really worth the hassle to go through complaining about it. I was just happy my stuff finally came. Except for a few things - some of my furniture was poorly put together and I had to take it apart again and put it together again by myself even though furniture assembly was part of what I paid for. When I was unpacking, I found out that my stuff was poorly packed. A lot of the boxes were inefficiently packed with spaces in the boxes which damaged some stuff and added to the cubic footage that I paid for. There was a big box about 18" x 18" x 18" ... I paid for that box that they provided and they packed. In it were 4 small plastic things. Well - I guess that's where the extra cubic feet came from. Anyhow, I fell for sales talk from Henry. Don't trust that guy. In fact, don't trust the whole company. Go with somebody else. read more

I had heard great things about Presto and decided to put my faith in them and I am so happy I did! From start to finish it was such an easy and smooth process and Henry was so responsive to my constant questions and requests. The crew that packed up my stuff arrived on time and did an amazing job of packing and wrapping everything up that I knew it was all going to arrive safely. Moved from west coast to east coast. Decide to work with the company because reasonable quote. Was told delivery date between 7 to 14 days with 2 days notice in advance before arrival. Arrived on 21st day. 35 mins notice in advance. Company attempted to ask for additional fee twice once truck on road. First because zip code change although I had quoted the same rate for both locations. 2nd because they claim their truck is too big for the east coast road therefore asking for additional 350 although only 2 turns after a main freeway to destination. Once finally arrived driver asking for last portion of cash before unload for even open the door of the truck to let you see if anything is missing. I hate to give these guys one star because the movers were actually awesome and did a great job. They showed up on time and ready to work. They were really nice guys and worked quickly and efficiently. When they arrived I showed the boss everything that needed to be moved. It was less stuff than what I showed Henry at our prior meeting for the estimate of 4320. After the truck was loaded up, again with less stuff than what I showed Henry at the estimate meeting, I was told the price would be 6900 in cash to be delivered before the truck was unloaded. I was so tired from the entire process of buying a new house and moving I just paid it AND tipped all the guys 150 each cuz they did a good job. I was moving from Los Angeles to Dallas and I've had a good experience with Presto logistics. I worked with Henry. Henry helped me to estimate precisely via FaceTime how much it will cost and I let him know that I don't want the price to be changed. We added a couple of things to our order but the price didn't change. This was good. A few of the things I'd like to be improved: - Communication. Movers were late for pick up about 4-5 hours. And they were lying that they called me and I didn't pick up. This is bad. Many movers didn't speak English and weren't handling things carefully. This brought some level of anxiety. Please pack your stuff well! - They don't tell you upfront how long it will take to deliver your stuff. Henry said that it will take 14 days, then when they picked up our stuff they said it will take up to 21 business days. This was a bummer. - Also Henry wasn't always available after they picked up our stuff. Only when I clearly complained to a woman. The woman on the phone wasn't very nice. - When our stuff was delivered movers wasn't completely ready for that. They didn't have the tools necessary for furniture assembly. I gave them mine. In general, the service is good, but there are definitely things to improve. Nothing was broken. The price stayed the same. Would I use Presto Logistics again: Yes. I was incredibly impressed with this company from start to finish. I moved from LA to Denver and they made this as easy on me as possible. Henry came out and gave me an estimate. The price was very fair (around 2k for a one bedroom apt) and THAT WAS ACTUALLY THE PRICE! No hidden anything. They were honest and upfront and Henry communicated with me as much as I needed. Movers who picked my things up were on time (early actually) and very quick. My things took under the two weeks to arrive (made it in 7 days) and the movers on the receiving end were timely as well. I am really happy to see how many of you had a great experience with Presto Logistics. For us it has been a nightmare. So many things were damaged including my sofa that looks like it was dragged from one end of their warehouse to another. A large mirror that I over packed for no damage to it and they still found it possible to drop from high above and break the beautiful frame I personally secured. Our dresser was dropped as well and now the drawer don't open. These people definitely didn't care on taking care of all our stuff. I am so heartbroken of all the damaged. I am so disillusioned by the promises this company made to get the job. They got over $30,000.00 from us and all the insurance would pay was $200.00 for the damage. My husband went back to the guy that made the promises of their care of our things and made all these excuses on why we couldn't get an appropriate amount and best he would give us was $1,000.00. I would absolutely not recommended these people. We should have rented two or three uhauls and moved our own things. I am just so disappointed on people that take advantage of you and that can live with themselves. This of course doesn't bring my precious belongings back. Look for another company. read more

LOST ALL OF MY FURNITURE!! DO NOT USE!! Not only did they loose all of my living room and dining room furniture, Henry was beyond rude on the phone, " I didn't know today was the deadline to find your furniture," and has no idea where it is. How can you loose leather couch, loveseat, pie cabinet, 2 bathroom stands, 6 chairs and my dining room table and basically everything I owned? I am now in a new State and on top of spending over $5K for the move, had to buy all new furniture because Henry doesn't think it's his fault. I am 66 years old and disabled, an easy mark. I have moved over 17 times and NEVER had such horrible service. Spare yourself and your family the awful experience I went through. read more

I used Presto to move out of CA to TN Jun/Jul 2019. I was skeptical when they quoted me with such a low rate, but going in with low expectations I don't think you could find a better value moving company for an interstate move. They were even cheaper than shipping my belongings via UPS freight. Here are the issues that made them lose a star: (1) During booking process, we made the quote for a Saturday pickup, but when I got around to putting the deposit down, they told me that date was no longer available. I wished they would have let me know when it was getting close to filling up, had to move around my schedule to make it work. (2) No courtesy call was made when they were 15 min away from pickup. I was called when they were here, and had to scramble taping up some boxes. (3) I thought the quote included taping and packaging for some of the specialty items listed like my mirrors. It did not include the packaging and I was charged about $60 for packing the mirrors. Something I would have done myself for about $10 had I known. Luckily I packed mostly everything myself beforehand in Home Depot boxes, but with those packaging rates, I could've just bought new mirrors at my new destination. Oh well, for anyone looking to use them, I'd recommend packing yourself as much as possible. (4) I used about 10 days of storage at their facility because I didn't have a set apartment to move into and I had to get to TN earlier for work. This was nice as many other moving companies charge for storage. However, when I called to confirm my destination later, whoever took note of it didn't enter it in their system, so when I called to check on the status a week later, they hadn't updated the address and didn't know it was ready to ship. After 2 weeks went by with no update on the shipping status, I was pretty sure my stuff was lost forever. Then I get a phone call from Racquel that my things shipped! The next day, I got a phone call from the driver saying he will be there with my belongings tomorrow! It was a surprise that they could deliver in 2 days but I was pleased after worrying I would never see my things again! (5) At delivery, there was just the driver to unload and move, no other help. I wasn't really expecting to help move my belongings, but I didn't want to spend hours supervising him working either. We got it done in about 30min with teamwork. This was my first interstate move, other co-workers used bigger companies like Mayflower and United, but they paid a lot more than me, a few thousand more. But they got what they paid for, their stuff arrived 5-7 days after pickup and they were able to track their shipments online. In the weeks I waited for my stuff, I learned how to live with less (something perhaps we all need to do), and it wasn't a huge problem for me. If you are willing to deal with the uncertainty of a prolonged delivery to save thousands, then I would recommend Presto. The delivery was fine and nothing was damaged or missing, but they definitely maxed out (or nearly maxed out) the days allowed to complete my move (from time I gave them my address). But knowing what I know now, I would definitely use Presto again, thanks a bunch to Eddie and Racquel and the rest of the team who helped me move. If I ever move back to CA, I'll be reaching out again. read more

Just made a move from LA to Portland, OR. From the first call to the drop off, this team was nothing but fantastic. I only had about a studio sized amount to move, so not a lot of worry or heavy lifting, but enough to equate to a U-Haul rental coming out to the same price of having pro movers and using their services. I went with Presto based on price and reputation. Here's my story: *Called in and got Eddie who explained every part of the process patiently and spot on to what I saw take place after agreeing to use their services. He followed up, was very knowledgeable and definitely a pro. *The moving team (Cesar and Douglas) was on time (actually early) the day of pick up and were quick, but most of all friendly and took good care of the items being shipped. *The drop off process was super easy and the crew (Joy and two guys) was also very friendly. One box had been left at the warehouse, but we made arrangements to get it to my destination and all was good. *My shipment arrived within the window provided (about two weeks from pick up which I wasn't upset about because I wasn't in a rush) and all was accounted for... and not broken! Over all my my experience was not great from the time my prepossessions were picked up to the time they were delivered. I was under quoted square footage for the amount of boxes and furniture that I needed to be moved. And upon delivery I had a few things that arrived not in the condition that they left. If you need to go with a moving company rather it be with Presto Logistics or any other moving company here are some suggestions for you to follow and your experience will definitely be better than mine. * When the Representative come to your home to give you a quote, make sure that they see and understand everything that needs to be moved. Have a very detailed list of items including how may boxes you will have for them to move so they will provide you with an appropriate quote of square footage that you will need to move your belongings. What happened to me is the rep that did my quote failed to see my patio furniture and BBQ grill outside therefore it was not included in the quote of square footage allotted to me and I had no choice but to leave it behind for the new owners of my sold condo to enjoy. * This is very important - If you love it and it has monetary value to you...MOVE IT YOURSELF i.e. expensive TV's, signed and framed autographed Kobe Bryant jerseys, etc. if you move the expensive items yourself then anything that may get broken upon delivery can easily be replaced. * Last but not least when your belongs get delivered to you. Those pink papers of inventory they give to you is for you to check off everything that was picked up is delivered to you. Make sure you account for every box, furniture, and misc. items are accounted for and I repeat, do not let the movers go until you are satisfied that all your belongings have been delivered to you in the same conditions they were picked up. I would suggest that you take photo's of any items or boxes that are delivered to you damaged and that you even video the movers as they bring your belongings off of the truck. You never know, they might just drop your expensive TV on the floor, just because its in a box doesn't mean it can't be broken when it gets dropped on the floor of the truck. Had I headed these warnings, my experience with Presto would have definitely been a much better one. Long story short I had put in a claim with Presto's 3rd party claims company and the result of the claim was denied. Now here is the good news and the reason I am able to give Presto the 4 star rating that I did and that is because when my claim got denied I was contacted by Henry Vogel our Representative at Presto, he was genuinely concerned about our situation and knew that I was not happy with the results of our move. He said he would do everything in his power to rectify or try to get me some compensation for some of my belongings that got damaged in the move and he did. "Thank you Henry, I appreciate your due diligence to rectify our situation and for helping us get back some compensation for our damaged items". we used this company to move from CA to North Carolina, I asked to move our move date and Hemery said it was not possible, but kept they our things in CA for 2 weeks after move date. Then 2 days before delivery the driver informed me there would be an extra charge because he wouldn't be able to get his truck into our complex, but I had seen another 16 wheelers in there! so my furniture had been loaded and unloaded 5 times! once they unloaded our items and left, we had several damaged items. we went through there insurance company and go offer $32 dollars to repair our antique caning chair that they slit when removing the wrapping, a table leg that was broken off! missing wheels to an office chair, and damage to the side of our dinning table! not to mention broken items in our boxes, but they don't cover them because I packed them myself! yet the boxes arrived crushed! Becareful when choosing a moving company for long distance and pay for the extra insurance to cover your items, their insurance paid $0.35 per pound of item not per $1 value of item! read more

I was clueless when I had to move from Torrance, California to Plano, Texas. But trust me Presto made it all easy for me. I need not had to do a single packaging apart from the suitcases. The stuff were packaged neatly, thoroughly cushioned ,giving extra detailing to the screws of my wall decors. If there are any issues on day of move contact Henry before signing anything and he'll try his best to work it out. We're so happy we picked Presto Logistics for our move from LA to Houston. I was stupid enough to give my cell phone number to a few moving quotes website and I was bombarded with phone calls and emails. After talking to a handful of them, Henry gave me an honest quote and didn't pressure me to book anything. They also have very flexible change/cancellation policies. I trusted my gut and went with them. I am so glad I did! Everything went very smoothly from the initial estimate to the final delivery. My one piece of advice is do not book the company that wants your credit card number during the first phone call. The pickup crew were on time and very efficient. They helped us taped some final boxes because we ran out of tape and loaded everything in a little over 2 hours. We went a little over the estimates which is understandable in my opinion. Henry updated me when the truck left LA. The delivery driver contacted me a day in advance and said he'll be here between 3-7 the next day. And he arrived at our apartment at 3 sharp. It was drizzling that day so they moved everything into the building first to make sure our boxes won't get wet. They have a very nice inventory system and we got every single piece of them. We found out that our shoe cabinet was damaged during the disassemble. I reached out to Henry and he took care of it immediately. I had an incredible experience. Very short notice and they got me scheduled for a CA to AZ move. Ceasar and his crew arrived on time and ready to work. They were professional, careful, efficient and friendly. They made a stressful day so much less worrisome. And the delivery end was just a great. Miguel and Jay unloaded with same care and professional. Not a single thing was damaged. From my first call with Dave to the vwry end it was great. My experience with Presto Logistics has been a terrible headache. It started out with the movers coming understaffed, resulting in me having to help move as well. I don't mind helping, but when you pay thousands of $$$ to a moving company you don't expect having to work for them for free as well. After finally loading up the truck, I found out that they had the wrong 1st date of delivery and I quickly requested it to be updated. But to my luck I called to check in 4 days later and they still did not have it updated... Lastly, if you have a job, kids, errands, or a life, then I don't recommend Presto. Instead of considering your availability and finding a time that works for both parties, they'll call you and give you a 1-2 day notice of delivery and if you aren't available then there's a couple hundred dollar fee to "redeliver" it a different time, but wait...it's a day and time that only works for them. All in all, don't use Presto. Either do it yourself or hire a moving company that will give you a dedicated truck and work with your schedule. read more

I had taken the time to fill out all the information on the size of my furniture/belongings to get an accurate quote. Once everything was on the truck they contacted me later to say that it took up more space and would be an up charge. I asked them to take my stuff off the truck and they said "they couldn't find it," holding my stuff ransom. Upon delivery (around 9 pm at night) they brought a giant truck that couldn't fit in the parking lot by my apartment and charged me for a "long haul" and also charge me for an extra flight of stairs for the extra two steps at the entrance of the apartment building. They required all of the upcharge to be in cash, which was an extra $700 from what I was quoted. The customer service with Abe was infuriating and unhelpful. This was by far the worst moving experience I have ever had and I would urge people NOT to use this company. I should have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

We used Presto Logistics for our move from Los Angeles, CA to Charlotte, NC. I chose Presto because of their reviews and they were the only company I contacted who was able to send someone to do in an in home estimate. Our moving date was July 5th and they were prompt with the move and worked quickly. The shipment arrived in the window promised. My bikes, TV and futon bed arrived in perfect condition and they put everything together in Charlotte. There was some bumps and bruises on our dressers and shelving units, but nothing overly significant. I had a side table I really liked and Tiffany lamp shade that had more notable damage which would have pushed the rating down and had me a little upset. However, I spoke with Henry (who managed our move) and he was always quick to respond. Presto paid to have the side table repaired and for a replacement lamp shade. This was much appreciated since I did not purchase any of the supplemental insurance. Henry did not make me jump through any hoops to provide a fair settlement, I just texted him a couple photos of the damage. Overall I would recommend Presto. The movers were courteous and professional and they went beyond what they were required to do to make our move whole when some items were damaged. read more

Both times the crews were professional and experienced, helping make sure everything was packed and loaded to minimize breakage. This was my third time using Presto. This time things did not go as hoped or as smoothly. The movers on the delivery end were great - very kind, helpful, agreeable and fun to work with. In the past Presto did a fabulous job making sure my precious and expensive furniture and belongings were well cared for and arrived without incident. This last move didn't end as well, but the manager, Henry, got on it and is making things right. After I sent an email explaining the problems that occurred, they were very apologetic and bending over backwards to make things right and compensate me in some way. My faith has been restored in a company that I have recommended to others and repeatedly used. Moves are fraught with incidents and I understand that - so to have a company stand behind their work means a lot. My rep Eddie has set up all 3 moves for me and was wonderful to work with. By whatever information he meant to say misinformation. After 2 weeks plus I was being told my mother's belongings, who had just passed away, were on a truck but the computers were down so they couldn't tell me anything. Then a day or 2 maybe even longer, I was told they couldn't reach dispatch. In comes Henry AFTER I made my first review. Who is Henry you say? Great question. Henry proceeds to tell me that after these 2 plus weeks that I'm looking for my belongings on a daily... Waiting on the call that someone is telling me it's on it's way... that it's still in California waiting on a truck coming my way. Mind you I was told at pickup, which was the Thursday the 17th, that a truck was there leaving out that day or the next so in fact my belongings would be to me probably Tuesday or Wednesday. So going back and forth with Henry, which still got me nowhere. All he was worried about was if I took down my 1st review that he would take 120$ off of my remaining balance which was 470$. He TRIED to insult my intelligence. It didn't work. So finally my belongings get here last Friday and guess what? Well, there's a broken chair. Lots of broken fine China and crystal. A chunk of wood missing off of my buffet that was purchased in 1958. I do have the original receipts. Henrys people wrapped the big stuff btw but he asked me to find someone who fixes wood and they would see what they could do to help get it fixed lol. The majority of it made it safely but all that didn't is a straight up loss at 60 cents a pound. That shyt is so laughable but things come back 10 fold. Make sure you read all papers before signing and not just let them skim through it in a hurry. I would continue but I'd be here all day!! Stay safe! Peace and Blessings. read more

We called several places to get quotes but Presto was the only place that had someone come out. I can't tell you how important getting that done is. Every moving company should do this. Henry came out and did a very good inspection and gave us a quote. He explained in detail how the quote was made and how the process works. It made me feel very secure that the quote was as close to possible as could be for the end cost. Henry was honest and patient and very kind. In the end, we went with Henry and Presto. It may seem like their quotes are higher but that is because they are accurate. Moving companies don't come out and will double their quote once they come. We had to move our dates a couple times because of issues with new house and an unexpected surgery and they worked with us every time. The actual move was also incredible. They really are a family there. The head mover Martin, was so kind and helpful and he knows Henry and they work well together. Nothing is hired out at this company. Martin stayed well after they were done packing to answer questions and go through what I should do when the truck arrives. His team came on time for the move day and worked harder than I have ever seen. The 4 man team were so kind and hard working. They listened to every concern I had and packaged with care all our items. Especially the ones I was very concerned about. The whole process was easy and quick. We were moving to a new state and it was a huge undertaking. My husband and I are so glad we choose Presto. They stay in touch with you during the whole process and made the whole thing as easy as possible. You won't regret picking them as a moving company! read more
