I had a Lakewood Lavender Lemonade and it was so refreshing. The bartender was super kind and it was fun to watch him up close and personal. I ordered a Burger bowl with fries and Gouda cheese sauce. Oh my! The medium well done burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection and sat atop a bed of some really good and guilt-laden fries. I chose to pour the cheese sauce on top and it was a smart move. The Critical Mass (DIPA) and Atomichron (hazy) were both phenomenal. Then we waited almost an hour for the Beef on Wick to come out. It's literally just a roast beef sandwich with fries. The food was great, but the wait was insane. Great beer, good food, nice people but just not in any kind of hurry.

But the barkeeper always knows how to narrow it down to something that really pleases me. They make do so well with their small location and I am very pleased to see they are going to open an additional very big location closer to downtown! I talked with the barkeeper about it, since they have an interesting diagram on their wall. He said probably by December of this year! (and this location remains also). How exciting!
