We've been using Preventive Pest for quite some time now for bimonthly spraying around the perimeter of our home. Anytime we have had an issue with bugs we've been able to call or even text with photos and someone always responds. Over the years we had issues from time to time with small beetle like bugs. They send someone out for additional spraying or they leave additional baits for inside without charging anything additional. It's been an exceptional service and they have always been helpful. Before we began having them spray bimonthly we had ants in our home around the sinks and outlets every time it was 100+ degrees outside. There were so many it was impossible to keep up with. I have one more spray before my contract is over thank goo! They spend like 5 minutes on my large property. I ALWAYS tell them to be sure to get all the cobwebs from my fence and home and they never do yet they send repeated emails to rate the technician. And they always have to return into between your bi monthly service because their product must be way watered down that there is always bugs of all sorts still showing up even after they have just sprayed and it's been 2 weeks after their spraying. Let me also mention that the older lady in the office will sneak in another paid service even though it's supposed to be a free redo. If you use them SAVE all your correspondence and texts. I had used this company for the past 5+ years for monthly indoor and outdoor treatments. This was for preventative pest service only. The service technicians were great for the first 3 years. Then, newer technicians came and didn't complete their house de-webbing or yard treatments. On numerous occasions I called the office and they would re-schedule someone to return to complete their work. I specifically requested a couple different technicians to service our home, but was told they rotate the technician's routes and that couldn't be done. Unfortunately, it was not easy to schedule another appointment for a service that should have been done on my actual service day. In the early months of 2023 (Feb-April), they would try to come and spray on rainy or wet days. Then, on a service day in Apr or May of this year, I received a morning vm from the office to say they would not be coming because it was "too windy". I called back said it was not windy in my area and no one needed to get up on a ladder, since I live in a single story home. I was confused by that reasoning and no one came. A month ago in early June, I called to postpone my service for that specific day because I was going on vacation. The gal I spoke to said that I wasn't scheduled for service that week, but the next. I said my service was the third week of the month. She told me it was now the following week, but no one from the company called me to advise of the change. Long story short, they did not show up for my last scheduled service date. I called the office to find out what happened with my service, but it went to vm and I left a message for a return call. No return call that day or the next. So, I called the following day and canceled my service. The gal said a "manager" would call me. I told her it was not needed and no one from Preventative Pest called. I am satisfied with our decision to move on and find another company to service our home. read more

No one likes a pest problem in your house let alone a roach problem. My wife and I were expecting our second kid when we discovered we had a roach problem. There is nothing more unsettlingly than trying to get everything ready for a baby, going to work, then coming home figuring out why these roaches were infesting our home. We currently had a previous pest control company which didn't do much but spray.. no traps, no planning, no nothing. Just kept saying maybe you need to get your sewer laterals checked and would spray. They actually didn't know it was a roach problem and thought it was a rodent problem until we figured it out.. by examining their droppings (gross right). We spoke to a representative from Preventive and felt comfortable making a switch based on their plan and knowledge. In the meantime, I was determined to get rid of these American roaches. I studied their behavior felt like I was making progress with the traps, bait, etc. but they still kept showing up. We had a few technicians from preventative who helped reduce the number of roaches; however, one stood out amongst the group. His plan was isolation by sealing off all entry points near sitings, strategic placement of granules/ traps / bait, and identified potential entry points on the exterior of the house. His name is Brandyn and I highly recommend you requesting his services. He is very professional, respectful, takes his job serious, and is knowledgeable about any pest. Long story short we were in war with these m#%f#en roaches for almost 9 months. When preventive got involved the numbers dropped and the sitings went from daily to weeks, but when Brandyn got involved it's been over a month without seeing one. I've been using this company for over six years And the last year or so they're being so pushy Meaning I called him and I told him do not schedule any service. I am out of the country. I will call when I wanna schedule a service that being ignored then they called me again and they said we were scheduled service. I told them please do not do that and make a note that I will call when I wanna schedule and by the way a month-to-month I'm not on a contract and they know that . So we have this new species of mosquito that just goes to down on you. Really, these things attack in broad daylight, they wait for you to walk away and then they go after your elbows and wrists and ankles and anywhere else they can get to, and they hit you several times in just a few seconds. You will get bit for weeks and never see them. They're the worst. In the past I sprayed for them myself, but this year they just snorted my best poison and had a party. My poor daughter was being eaten alive, and she couldn't even go outside to play anymore. Along comes Preventive Pest Control. They have this bucket thing they set up in your yard. It works some kind of magical thing that only pest control professionals really understand. A few days later, no mosquitoes. And none since. I have one bucket thing in the back yard and another in the front, since I have a lot of land, and they have been 100% effective.
