Price Busters is my go-to place for all things spa related. Over the past few years, I have had multiple transactions with Price Busters (Bobby specifically). My most recent one was today. Each time, I am impressed with Bobby's knowledge, honesty, and integrity. I have purchased some parts from him and each time received quality parts (control panel, ozone generator, filters, etc). I found him through a web search where I was trying to find the best prices (saving money is important to me....) and his prices are usually equal to or cheaper than other places I have looked for the same quality parts. I try to do stuff on my own as much as possible and Bobby has patiently walked me through the steps (sometimes multiple times....) on how to fix something. Always with a sense of humor and patience. Really impressive as I know this guy is busy. He has helped me solve problems where sometimes he made no money from the solution. Today was one of those days. I was looking for a cover and he recommended I buy it from a local dealer to save on shipping. Then, he told me what brand was best and the specs to look for. He gained nothing from this but it helped me immensely. So much so that I just had to write this review. In addition to the great prices (again, a priority with me), I keep coming back because of the great customer service. As I mentioned earlier, I am impressed with Bobby's honesty and integrity. There was one transaction where the final charge was more than I was expecting (this was a shipped item). I reviewed the receipt and found an error in the pricing where two of the numbers were transposed from my understanding of the price. I called Bobby and he immediately looked into it, found the error, and refunded my money. I am so glad I found Price Busters. Bobby has saved me a lot of money and headaches! read more

I bought a home with a pool in terrible shape. I have zero experience in maintaining pools, so I was very overwhelmed. After a couple of seriously overpriced quotes from pool maintenance guys, and spending too much $$ at Leslie's, a coworker told me about Price Buster's. I called, was pleased to hear that they were not only willing to help me with what they provide, but were even willing to go above and beyond by helping me with the plumbing (which is not a service they provide). Anyway, Bobby rebuilt my dying pump for $35, which gave me another year. When I was finally ready to spend $ on a new pump, you know I had to get Bobby's advice. He wanted me to have it ASAP, so he spent his day off picking it up from the warehouse, and only charged me a few bucks over his cost. Overall, I would tell people with any pool or spa needs to check these guys out for 3 important reasons. 1. They actually want to help. 2. They are going to be less expensive then any alternative. 3. They know what they are talking about and want you to become the same. I have nothing against Leslie's, but my experience tells me that the store manager knows pools, and all other employees seem like part time cashier only types, you cannot get worthwhile answers there unless speaking to a store manager. Bobby and his team at Price Buster's will always treat you right and do right by you. I bought all of my equipment and supplies from him for 6 years at my old home. After I didn't do the right research and messed up my own stuff, his guys not only were friendly and helpful while fixing it but they walked me through how to run my system correctly so I didn't mess it up again. I call them when my chems are off or my vacuum doesn't work and give them way too much detail in pool-illiterate girl terms (oh the mini shower curtain rod thing?!) and they are always patient in trying to help me troubleshoot an issue. I just bought a new house with a new pool and spa this time and had them come out the first week to walk me through all of the new stuff and how it works. Nick was so patient and friendly and actually took the time to teach me about my system and answer questions I didn't even know that I had. Went back to the store for supplies and they always load up my car. I know it's silly but those extra little touches go a long way. I don't ever worry that the information I get from them isn't accurate or that they won't stand behind something they've done. They go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and appreciated every time I'm there. Got nothing but great things to say about Price Busters and Bobby the owner. I bought my house 6 years ago with a pool, pump and filter in horrible condition and asked my neighbor for a pool store recommendation. He pointed me to Price Busters Pool & Spa and I've been buying my chemicals and parts there ever since. Bobby and his staff are super laid back and friendly and don't try to upsell you or direct you to any purchase. You can browse at your leisure without that "used car salesman" vibe or someone trying to sell you a hot tub. However, when you're ready, just ask for assistance, and any of the staff are more than willing and knowledgeable to answer any questions you have. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable on pool care & maintenance and are my go to resource for all things pool related. We purchased our home almost 2 years ago with a spa in "as is condition" Finding the spa was no longer manufactured so getting parts was a crap shoot. Well .... hmmmm trouble shooting it could get expensive so it might be better to get a new spa we thought. Finding "Price Busters POOL & SPA" was our God send! For a tenth of the cost of a new spa of similar size possibley saving even more. Bobby listened as he worked on his project and with in seconds of finishing our story of doom and gloom, he handed us a part he made, explained what, where and how to install and BAM! I have been using this company since Jan 2017 and have had nothing but issues with my Jacuzzi since then. I have had most of the Jacuzzi parts replaced Board, heater, Circe pulp. They have had to come back to fix after replacing each part. I have spent about 3000$ on repair and they do not back up thier work or warranty anything after replacement. When u have made appointments they usually have to reschedule not being able to make it out. They lack communication I have had to call them to get rescheduled since they just do not show up within their window of time frame . Just recently I had the heater replaced and it does not work they are hesitant about coming back out to fix it so again money wasted on them replacing that. I will never use this company again since they do not back up there work. I emailed the owner my concerns and here is his response -- Joann, Call me. Mike (good guy) told me you're upset. Why? I can assure you it's probably something foolish on your end. Dirty filters? Have they been cleaned every month like we talked about? I am ecstatic that my online search for the #1 spa parts location in Mesa came up with Price Busters Pool & Spa. Raced to their store on Saturday and Manager Candace and Owner Bobby are more knowledgeable and helpful than any other pool/spa store (including chain stores) I've visited in the last 15 years. It's a distance for me and I'm happy to make that drive. Don't be fooled by the business location, size of the place or the interesing in and out driveway, it's a treasure trove of every imaginable size spa and they are gorgeous! Pricing is excellent, you'll notice the difference with the first visit. For me, the perfect DIY pool and spa parts and maintenance supplies! I absolutely love these guys!! A neighbor recommended us to them a few months back for liquid chlorine and I had know idea how much more help they would be to us. We had a green pool and the normal algae killers weren't working. I would go in almost every day, describe what was going on, would bring in a pool sample and they walked me through step by step what to do next. There knowledge, honestly, prices and customer service is beyond compare. After sticking with me thru the issue, narrowing down what it could be, they were able to dx the pool with mustard algae and then gave me a course of action to get it back to a beautiful blue sparkling pool again, just in time for my kiddos birthday pool party! I have been going to Price Busters Pool & Spa since I purchased my home in April, 2009! Bobby is absolutely the best. His employees have an up-beat and friendly attitude. When I have a problem with anything to do with my pool, they are my go-to store. The level of integrity is very high, and I have said for a long time that "if you don't have integrity, anything else you have for sale, has no value to me." These guys are great. They know their stuff and they're prices are very reasonable. I found their repair services for my spa circuit board to be very good. Everything is working for a fraction of the cost I was getting quoted from other companies. I will say that when we have problems, it is one thing to fix the issue but if the cause is not identified and handled properly, it will only happen again. Too many times people will take your money for a repair without getting to the root cause, and that is NOT, the type of thing you will get here. I will definitely goto them again the next time I have an issue and I have a good feeling that next time, it will be for something unrelated. read more

I was having some issues with my pool pump and some old seals that had deteriorated. My neighbor suggested Price Busters after they purchased a Cal Spa from them last year. They go back for chemicals and their spa filter every year even though we live in Queen Creek. Mike came out and fixed it quickly and everything is working great. I like using small company's rather than chains and the store is just that. Went in to purchase chlorine for my pool and some other small items-filter cleaner, test kit, skimmer. They had all sorts of parts and everyone was so friendly. Such a positive experience. They had the filter size I needed and the Chlorine was even less than Amazon prices! read more

If you call around east valley everyone will refer you to them for a reason!!! This place is amazing!! The owner knows what he is doing and the techs I have had to repair my tub are very knowable as well as friendly and no bs upsales or pressure ect. They have given me free advise on easy fixes as well as helped with my heater on my tub while I was hurting for money they put a refurbished heater (80 repair vs 400) in at my request and explained all my options as well as answered my questions. They just moved to a new location and google maps is not updated FYI as of 1-18-19. They have earned my trust and future business. read more

Was in the market for a Swim spa and had shopped many places in Phoenix, but found the price is very high and low inventory if any. Went in and talk to Bobby from price busters and Within half an hour I had put money down on Swim spa he had coming in. He worked with the FAA on getting buy off for the size crane I needed at my location and coordinated the installation of the Swim spa and the electrical required to Power the spa. This place has s hands down the best. They truly are price busters. I have an old tub and instead of trying to selling me a bunch of expensive parts or be vague, selling me on paying for their services, they provide good troubleshooting tips and directed me to the best bang for my buck solutions. I always leave spending less than I thought and it's always just the thing I need. They also have a huge stock. I went to price Busters to replace a hot tub that I bought 10 years ago. I bought it from Bobby. I had the pleasure of being helped by a new employee named PJ she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the hot tubs and how they worked. I purchased the new tub on Tuesday January 2nd around 1pm.
