Really disappointed in my last two visits to Pride Auto. The previous visit I had I was charged for a timing belt when I had to have a new water pump put in on my Jeep. The problem was a new timing belt was put in without my permission (which I had been told several times that would NEVER happen with would me being asked first) when I had just put in a brand new belt myself the month before. I know how to put in a timing belt and wouldn't have ever been okay with being charged $40 when I can do it myself. Mistakes happen fine. Then today's visit put the nail in the coffin for me continuing to do business with this repair shop. I called in 2 days prior and made an appointment to have a routine service done on my Lexus. Great, all that was going to be done was a tire rotation, oil change, and glance over the car and I was told "should be an hour or two". I showed up at 9 am to drop my car off am told that they can't provide an estimate understandable they can't give me an exact time even though I have an appointment. I don't hear back for 5 hours, I call in and I'm told they will call me right back. They don't. I call back 30 minutes later and they said my car will be done it a few hours. At that point my car had been with them 5 hours, all I had wanted done was a routine service. I drive back to get my car and it hasn't moved from the place I left it this morning. I would have understood if it was a major repair or if I had attempted to drop the car in sure that takes hours.. I get it... but a goofy routine maintenance check that I had an appointment for come on guys. Anyhow, I'm greatly disappointed in the service I received this morning and on my previous visit so I won't be back. I wouldn't recommend visiting this shop, seems as though they are in jumbles and can't attend to their customers. read more

Great service all around: Called for quote on a new timing belt--they did the job, but for $120 under the quoted price! I thought I might need new brakes, but they said they were still good for 20,000 miles, They did discover--honestly I believe--that some of my other belts needed replaced. My son is in the car business and recommended Pride to us. He uses them all of the time. I've been looking for a good repair shop that I can trust, so I decided to give them a try. Took my wife's car there when the engine light came on. I had taken it to the dealer and they quoted me $1,100 to replace some emissions part. The Pride guys spent a lot of time testing it and didn't find anything wrong with the emissions system. It may have been that the gas cap was loose, which can cause the engine light to come on. They charged me an hour of labor and saved us over $1,000. Took her car in again when we got a new error message. The car needed a new battery, which made sense since it is 5 years old. They were less than half of what the dealer charged on her last car. Anyway, I think I've finally found a good repair shop that I can trust. We're going to use Pride for both of our cars from now on. read more

This entire experience was awful and unprofessional..i don't care how long you have been in business...most people do not speak up when there is a problem. They just go away. I have read many reviews about this company and so many of them have the same compliant. Poor customer service, denial of what they initially said, no follow up if a compliant was voiced... also a few reviews discuss gender discrimination and i could absolutely feel as though they talked down to me because I am a woman.....until I told them I lived with an auto mechanic for many years ,so please don't discuss this with me as if I don't know anything about cars. I chose to come here because of all of the positive reviews. They did an oil change on my car and rotated my tires which I thought was a bit pricey but I was okay with it as long as I was going to an honest shop. We needed a bunch of stuff done to my boyfriends truck (roughly $1700) and so we decided to take it in. My boyfriend works one week on and one week off and the repairs were going to take a couple days. We dropped it off before he left for work and they seemed a little angry that we couldn't come get the truck for about another 5 days. We picked it up, worked pretty well but there was a bunch of stuff stolen from my boyfriends truck. Very expensive snowboarding backpack, gloves, etc. They do good work on your vehicles but don't leave anything valuable in your vehicle when you drop it off as it will not be in your vehicle when you get it back. read more

I brought my pick up truck in for repairs, and while it was there, "someone" removed the topper off the back. A topper that was bolted in securely and locked in place. I was still asked to pay for my repairs, as if the topper may have been an mis-placed chocolate bar, and said they "didn't notice if there was or was not a topper in place" when we dropped off. DO NOT go here....if they can't even keep track of where the topper is, how can anyone trust them to know if they bolted the replacement parts in that I can't see??? read more

My car decided it didn't need to start anymore. We looked around some and then called Pride Auto. After speaking to them we decided it couldn't be any worse than taking it to a dealership. Had the car towed down to them, thankfully not very far from us! They checked it, called us with a price for a new starter and had it fixed and good to go all within 8 hours! And when we got there to pick it up and pay the price hadn't miraculously gone up! Everyone we spoke to and dealt with were friendly, courteous and knowledgable. I hate having to deal with car issues but it's nice to have a place that prides itself on its quality and service. read more

Im seventeen, and I bought my first car (used) about eight months ago. Since then, it has had multiple issues, particularly with the check engine light coming on CONSTANTLY. The guys at pride are phenomenal. As a an individual who is young, female, and knows nothing about cars, I feel comfortable bringing my vehicle here. I get a great and fair price, and I never feel pressured to repair anything prematurely. I feel that I always get their honest opinion, be it good or bad. My favorite thing is that the staff is willing to explain the repairs to me. They have no problem taking me out to my car, popping the hood, and spending fifteen minutes explaining what Im paying for. It is something I really appreciate. My parents were originally loyal to keller brothers, however based on the service I have received at pride, they are converts! My car is running fabulously now and I owe it to pride. read more

Imagine going to an auto repair shop that you didn't know to get your air conditioning recharged. When you get your quote for $155 you tell the repair shop to go ahead. Later they call to say that they completed their tests on the system and recharged the system, only to find out the condenser, a $1,200 repair, was not working. Instead of charging the $155, the repair shop chooses to charge $0 because they could not fix the problem with a repair much costlier than quoted. I had an oxygen sensor issue on my car and brought into Pride. They called me that afternoon as I had to drop it off before they opened to let me know the cost and that they could have it done by the time I was off work. Unfortunately the check engine light came on again about a week later. I called and they had me bring it back in. After running several tests they determined it was a bad sensor and would replace it, which they did a couple days later (it had to be ordered). Well gosh darn it if it didn't happen again! I call them again to let them know the light came on again and brought it in the next day. After more research they found that my car make had an alert regarding this sensor and it had to be tightened more than usual. So they performed that and I am happy to say it has been 2 months of no check engine light!! Was it a pain to take it back that many times ? Sure but I felt they did everything they could with the situation at hand and were extremely professional and courteous during the entire process. We've had multiple cars visit this shop - for tires, oil changes, maintenance work, etc. Every experience has been great - timely, true to estimate, and even shuttle service home. One of our not so 'normal' repairs was a problem that became a Hyundai warranty issue - they recommended we take it to the dealer. Dwight even explained to me that this was not a standard warranty issue and how to encourage Hyundai to cover the repair. With his help it got covered by the dealer. They could have just repaired it and charged me but instead helped us save the expense. They've earned our auto business. read more

I am extremely impressed with the professionalism and helpfulness of the Littleton Pride Auto Care. A few weeks ago on the way to a holiday brunch, we had a mini emergency with a tire valve. We stopped in at Pride Auto Care. They said it would be ~ 1hr but went right to work and had us back on the road quickly. In my opinion they went well above and beyond - they checked the valve, checked the tire pressure in all 4 tires, and did a leak check. When they called us up to the counter....they said no charge. I was in disbelief. I'm used to the exact opposite behavior from car repair shops - this place seems very trustworthy and honest. After an oil change at different business, we were told our 04 Sienna has a small transmission fluid leak that should be sealed. We got an appointment within a day and dropped off the van. Within hours, we were told the transmission fluid leak was very small and wasn't a problem. They recommended not doing anything, since it was possible it wouldn't even turn into a bigger leak. We just need to watch and see if we notice fluid leaking. We asked them to check out a funny engine noise and one of the doors that pops. They gave us suggestions on the door (we need an auto body shop), and said the engine noise is normal. At the end of the day, they didn't charge anything for their time. I'm shocked. They could've easily suggested work to be done (which is what always happened when we regularly took the car to the ToyDoctor across the street...usually ending up with several costly repairs beyond the original issue). This company was recommended to me by several co-workers. I have been taking 3 different vehicles there for various repairs over the past 3 years. They have always done great work in a fair and honest fashion and at a fair price, something that you don't usually expect from an auto repair business. A year ago, I took my son's truck in to have the brakes done since it is an older vehicle and they were squeaking. I was sure the brakes needed to be replaced. Several hours later, I received a call from these folks to tell me that the brakes were fine, just had some dirt built up which they cleaned out and the squeaking had ceased and that there would be no charge. That was amazing enough, but they just topped that. My truck needed to have a wheel bearing replaced on the front left, a $500 job. One of their techs, as humans will sometimes do, made a mistake and replaced the right front wheel bearing. It was apparent that the problem was not fixed as I drove away from their shop. When I went back to report the still existing problem there was no hassle at all. They replaced the left wheel bearing at no additional charge, eating their $500 mistake without me having to even say a word. That is what I call stand-up. I cannot stress enough how awesome these guys are. read more

I recently took my 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor to Pride Auto because it was having a hard time accelerating under load. I took it in Saturday morning and they were able to diagnose a leaking head gasket that was allowing oil into the spark plug chambers. They stayed late to complete the work and I was able to get my vehicle back the same day. After approx. 1 week, I happened to be in the area and pulled in to tell them that the car seemed better but was still lacking pep going up hills. One of the service managers took time out without an appointment to put in an engine cleaner via the vacuum system, and advised me to drive the car hard for a couple of tanks of gas and see if the situation improves. After doing as he suggested, my car has got its pep back and I'm even getting better than 1 mpg better gas mileage. I have been going to Pride Auto for many years and have always been happy with the service and the fact that they don't try to upsell me on anything the didn't need to be done. I trust Pride Auto and that is the best compliment I can give them. read more

Not Completely Straightforward! I brought my car to Pride Auto Care with a grinding problem with the brakes. They diagnosed the brake issue and told me I also needed new tires. I told them that was strange since they had just fixed a problem with one of my tires a few weeks ago and said my tires were fine for another year. I passed on the tires and asked them to fix the brakes. They called a few hours later and said there was actually another part that would need to be replaced and it would be an additional $100. We said fine. When we picked it up the next evening the engine idle sounded strange and the back end started bucking. I brought it in the next day and was told that a spark plug wire was worn and became disconnected and it was just a coincidence it happened immediately after they worked on my car. They also told me I needed to have the wires and cap replaced as well as a tune up which would be another $200. I passed. I do not think they were completely honest with me and I would expect after $900 of repairs to have my car run better than when I had brought it in. read more
