    Loaded Bloody Mary
    Victoria P.

I came to Prime Farm to Table for drinks and a snack the other day with one of my girlfriends after work. I convinced her to get the Bloody Mary because it's such an experience, and they did not disappoint. The chef always changes what he puts on the Bloody Mary depending on what's in season or available in the kitchen. I don't know how he decides, but he never fails to amaze. The empanada on the Bloody Mary was so yummy that we ordered four more.

    Devoured the brussel sprouts!!!

Wow. Just Wow. Everything from the food to the service is top notch. It was our first time eating here as we've passed by it many times driving through Highland Village and wanted to give it a try. Our server Jennifer was very knowledgable about the menu and highly recommended the brussel sprouts. My husband and I have never had good brussel sprouts until we tried the ones here - combined with a little sriracha sauce and sweet sesame glaze, they literally melt in your mouth! They offer a 3 course menu but also allow you to order a la carte as well. Everything we had was incredible fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant fills up very fast so be sure to make a reservation! We will be back for sure.

Chef/Owner Chris did it again! Saturday night dinner at this excellent Flower Mound gem we chose the Prix Fixe which is unbeatable! The unusual menu adds to the upper level ambiance while offering choices you won't find on 95% of the restaurants in the area Our opening appetizers included grilled Spanish octopus, crispy pork belly, shrimp & boudin and a ceasar salad Entrees were pan roasted red snapper, pan seared scallops and the warm New England lobster roll Dessert was the warm and sticky toffee date pudding with rum carmel - a must have ! The prix fixe menu includes a selection of paired wine options to go with your course selection or you can stick to one vineyard if you choose In addition if you enjoy outdoor dining there is outside seating with patio heaters to add comfort to your romantic meal Service was excellent as our waiter was attentive while giving us time to talk and enjoy the various foods we chose When dining out on a Saturday night or any night for that matter Prime is a must visit!

This place came highly recommended by a friend and I did enjoy it- we came for lunch around 1pm on a Saturday, got seated right away and chose a booth. Our server was great. The menu they gave was for Saturday brunch and there were tons of options. We decided to get two dishes and split them: the wagyu potato hash (which he recommended) and the burger. I also ordered an iced coffee. Everything to me was pretty good, not amazing, but not bad by any means. The burger which we got medium rare did not strike me as deserving of the price point ($18 per entree) and the prices contributed to the lack of wow factor for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As weird as this sounds the restaurant was very hot which made it hard to eat a bunch of meat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was really nice though and had the burger split onto separate plates for us. I also do know this place is more known for their drinks, which we didn't try, so I would come back and try the dinner menu to see their selection!

    Delicious Cajun Plate

What an incredible 1st time to this restaurant. Chef Chris is amazing- he created a delicious Cajun feast for a special event. The menu included a Thick rich roux, spicy but not too gumbo. Shrimp cooked perfectly with rice, French bread, grilled vegetables, and some of the freshest most flavorful boudin I have ever had even better than New Orleans. A large crawfish boil going on - out on patio with all the fixings. Finished off with fresh hot Beignets and cafe. Wow delicious food great friendly service, amazing chef and cooks. Cute place with pictures of Texas Landmarks. Enjoyed the viewing window watching the magic happening in the kitchen. Chef Chris we can not wait to come back to try your other cuisine!!

The food was amazing! It is true definition of farm to table. We had the 4 course meal with wine and wow! It is up to the chef on what is presented and we were not disappointed! The service was beautiful as well. Jennifer who was our lady was knowledgeable, fun, and great part of our experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is perfect for a cozy, high end atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely come back to this place! All the food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious!

This restaurant is great! Went with my husband and my parents Saturday night. We made reservations for 5:30 and were seated right away. By 6:15 the place was packed! Mom had eggplant Parmesan, pop had the lobster roll, mdh had snapper and I had the shrimp and scallops (no rice). Everything was delicious! All tasted fresh and we finished every bite! I think the snapper was the star, but all of our meals were super yummy. Make sure to make a reservation!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Went for Saturday Brunch, the place was quite empty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also ordered the prime rib sandwich & my daughter ordered the eggs Benedict. Everything was very tasty but a bit pricey for the portion size. I can't say anything bad about the place but my expectations were a bit higher.

    Super tender slab of cow

Let's recap my criteria for bad ass 5 stars......This place would have gotten 7. First, I called at just about closing and they said come on!!! They were on a Prix Fixe menu which was fine, I got to try some apps that I would have passed on. I got the Kale Salad with beets and candied pecans. I also got a Filet with potatoes. (we all know that this is my staple of dining. Let's call a spade a spade and admit that I hold the bar super high) My filet was simple amazing. Somewhere in heaven there is a cow saying "hell yea, that's me." Wife had scallops and Leak soup. I don't know who had the better meal???? So after I stuffed my piggy face, the owner dropped by to chat. Such a cool man. He detailed how the place came to be, where he sources food, and cool Spring events. We talked about 30 minutes about food, ham, and what is next. YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE!!!

I checked in at 30 minutes past reservation and they said they were "cleaning a table", then 40 minutes past reservation I checked in again, and then they said they will push two tables together... so they weren't cleaning any table for us. They sat 2 6-tops prior to us, plus numerous other larger groups. Having worked as a head host in the restaurant industry before, at first I thought it was because they all had reservations and were just before us in those, but as they sat ~15 groups before us, I started to notice we were being neglected. Even standing right in front of the hostess station. We were sat finally 45 minutes post reservation. (55m total wait time - the day before Mother's Day, with a reservation scheduled 3 days before.) Chelsea our server was phenomenal, the food is always good, high quality and made with care.

A short time later, the other bartender came to check if I was ready to order. The menu has "somewhat" improved. Gone is the messy and expensive Seafood Boil. In addition to the regular menu, there was a Wednesday Dinner Special and the Bar Top Bites menus. Of the three items on the Dinner Special menu, only the Cheesecake Basque dessert was on the regular menu, priced the same. Believing the portion size would be appropriate, I decided on The Hottie Calzone from the Bar Top Bites menu. The calzone took about 16 minutes. The server almost served my food to the customer who sat next to me. When the bartender came to check on me, she mentioned the calzone was missing the marinara on the side, and immediately went to the kitchen to grab it. The calzone was smaller than expected. Nor was it as stuffed as hoped. Considering its price was about half of their equivalent 12-inch two-topping pizza, it should have been expected. Because the jalapeño was not overpowering, the combination of the pepperoni, mozzarella, and the peppers was enjoyable. Although I still had an appetite, I passed on dessert. Many of the dessert items were served with caramel ice cream. Not a flavor top on my list. Also, my dining experience was not entirely pleasant. A nearby customer and the manager had a somewhat lengthy discussion about paying for an ice cube. Although it ended before I finished my meal, I was not in the mood to stay longer. On a minor note, it appears the wireless chargers have been disabled. Unlike my prior visit, they are no longer labeled "Wireless Charger".
