Was looking for NY Style Pizza Pie and this one was close by so I tried it! I would say the pizza felt a little overcooked (crust was darker and crunchier than I liked) which made it taste more bready/toasted when I bit into it as supposed to cheesy/saucy. I still enjoyed it! The garlic knots were not as toasted as I would have liked them to be, but the flavor was there! Would definitely order again and try different pies! read more

We ordered a cheese pizza and a chicken chopped salad and some of the homemade ranch dressing. It was all very tasty! There was one small problem with the order, so my husband called and spoke with the Prime Pizza manager, who took great efforts to make it right. Great experience and good food. Where to begin we ordered on the app at 6:49 and the pick up what time was 915. OK fine. Let's try it. We get there at 9:10 wait till 915. We get a text saying the pizza is ready but the pizza was ready a long time ago cause we got it cold and soggy and it's very disappointing as a guy there lied right to my face and said he just put it in one of the box was very warm. The pizza was cold. The cheese was not melted, and the pizza was soggy. This place is overhyped on Instagram and TikTok. It's not worth it not worth the weight not worth the aggravation. We ordered a whole pie and got half Supreme and half White. The pizza crust, sauce, toppings, and toppings are all flavorful and delicious. Staff is friendly and courteous. I only wish that the pizza was able to hold the topping better, definitely had to fold the slice to prevent the pizza from flopping and spilling the toppings. I have never wanted to try a pizza place/business more than I want to try this establishment. To all the recent one stars, how would you feel if hundreds of people showed up at one at your place of business at once. A social media post hype up the business, which was nice. With that, grew an unexpected crowd. What we they do to, hire last minute staff, buy a bigger establishment to accommodate the crowd. NO. Thats unrealistic. Giving this place 5 stars because the service was good and it was my first time trying this pizza place and the lady on register seemed to have been aware and read the room so she recommend the spicy pepperoni with our order and told us to try the garlic knots stating they were really good as well. Customer service needs major improvement. Came here for the first time to grab some pizza slices for my kids. The cashier seemed annoyed waiting for my order. It was the attitude that was transparent. Then I asked another employee for a bag to go as I am currently disabled walking and was denied. What bothered me was the tone of this employee. I spent more money buying a couple of combos than I would have on a whole pizza, yet I was told I couldn't get even one packet of cheese or crushed red peppers because I didn't purchase a whole pie. Since I came back from NY in 07...I've been looking for anything that comes close to ny pizza. While I didnt have prime when I was in ny....this place def did not disappoint! The shop itself reminded me of ny...black n white tile, well lit, Friendly workers and pizza slices for sale on display! The parking lots a good size...could get crowded on a weekend though. There's no seating inside but there are benches and seating outside. Lots of choices on the menu! Pizza, salads, garlic knots...even fresh juices that they bottle themselves (their lemonade...fire!) My friend and I got half sausage and kale (never had kale on a pizza)...and half arribiatta (spicy tomato) both were really good!! While I love kale and sausage..I do gotta say I think I liked the arribiatta better! Light spice, good amount of cheese, and thin sliced onion. Crisp, thin under carriage..lightly chewy crust...this pizza came really close to reminding me of ny :). My only critique: for pizza...its pretty expensive. Bout $27-30 for a 18" pie. +drink...you're almost at 40$. I can get the same sourdough ny style pizza down here for about $5-8 less. With all that being said though, id def go back to try different pies!..lmk what you guys think!! read more

Unbelievable!!!! I don't know what's going on with primes social media person or the management at the Brea Prime but it's a straight switch and bait, false advertising. Today on Pi Day, 314, they advertised find the Golden Ranch bottle and win a gift card for $314 then when you show up they said it doesn't start till 4:00 p.m. after waiting hours to be the first one to find the bottle then they changed their Tone and say it's totally random. Completely false advertising in a illegal switch and bait. From the write ups and hype I was really excited to try this new pizza restaurant. I was truly disappointed and plan no future visits. The garlic knots had so much potential, but fell so short. The garlic topping is quite delightful but that is where the delicious hit ends. To add context, as soon as I got back to my car my wife and I excitedly popped the package open. The dough was hard and rubbery to chew, it had the taste that it had been cooked earlier and reheated. The remainder went into the trash. The pizza was eaten about 15 minutes when we got home. The crust was nothing to applaud about and the flavor just wasn't there. Personally, I enjoy Costco food court pizza better. We had a couple of slices and that was enough. Being one who loves cold pizza the next morning, it pains me to admit that the leftovers went into the trash with the garlic knots. read more

The pizza was good! The staff were very friendly. BUT whatever system is currently in place for getting orders out is unbearable. We placed an order for 1 pepperoni pizza for pick up before 5pm and didn't get it until 5:45. We had plenty of time to stare at the 17 pizzas that were just sitting there on racks while we waited. I'm a big fan of the Burbank location and was so excited to try out the one in Brea as it's closer. I got the white, Sicilian, hot pepperoni and vodka. I was so excited to dig in but when I did it was so cold. It seems like they didn't even try to put it back in the oven to try it out. For anyone who has never had real New York pizza, I guess this would be fine. For someone like me though who has grown up eating pizza from Manhattan and the surrounding areas, it leaves a lot to be desired. The main problem is the sauce, which is very bland and has a sweetness to it. Actual New York pizza sauce is actually packed with flavor, most notably, oregano. I didn't taste even a hint of that. The crust was ok and by looking at it I guess it could pass for New York pizza. It was thin enough but that's where the similarity ends. Prime pizza brea was amazing! We went on our way to Disneyland for a quick bite. The service was great. Elva was so friendly and welcoming. The pizza was delish!
