From top left to right to bottom left - salmon, spicy fries, crispy brussels, fried chicken, steak, collard greens, pork chop

Came here with a few friends last Saturday for dinner. Didn't realize it was inside Plaza Suites Hotel. Staff were great. My pork chop wasn't quite tasty (2 stars) wasn't juicy like i was hoping and lacking in flavor; my husband's petite tender steak was to his liking (4 stars) (grass fed beef are really chewy just like the server said); my friend ordered the Korean style fried chicken which we all agreed was extremely salty (3 stars) but I'm sure was just accidentally over seasoned...otherwise I thought the crunch and tenderness was awesome; my other friend's salmon dish we all agreed was delicious (5 stars). Really appreciated the plating design too. So we weren't impressed overall with the main course (This place is $$$ not $$) but the "sides" and desserts were fantastic. Everyone loved the spicy fries, the ball pastry with dip, the popcorn gelato, and the nutella brownie with milk! 5 stars for all of those! The signature cocktails were good too! One had gin and absinthe, the other was smokey with rosemary, and another was Hibiscus and rye (i think).

    Delicious bruschetta.

My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the calamari! I would post a picture of it, but it was pretty much finished by the time it hit our table. It was cooked perfectly and the squid ink aioli was amazing. I highly recommend this dish! We also had the bruschetta. I managed to take a quick picture before we ate it all. I love mushrooms, and I would definitely order this again. The sides were very tasty! The marshmallows on the sweet potatoes were a treat, and the Brussels sprouts were extremely flavorful. I ate it all! The flat iron steak was mouthwatering and cooked at a perfect medium rare. Following the appetizers, and partnered with the sides.. this meal was absolutely amazing. On our table had a variety of food and flavors! One member in our party ordered the veal four ways. I was lucky enough to try some of it, but before I could taste the veal made in other ways it was all done! Maybe I'll have to order one for myself the next time around... We all enjoyed a beverage from the bar. I normally enjoy a bourbon and coke. Usually it's made with too little or way too much alcohol. The bartender found a perfect balance. If I did not have to drive, I would've ordered another round! Our hostess was very polite, and our server was very attentive. He offered many recommendations, and did a wonderful job describing a few of the dishes we had questions about. I would definitely recommend Prime for anyone looking to enjoy dinner at a restaurant with high class taste.

I met a friend here for dinner who was staying at the hotel and our dinner was phenomenal! We started with the brussel sprouts and sausage which were both absolutely delicious. We both ended up ordering the salmon and it's the best salmon I've had. The skin on the salmon was light and crispy while the salmon itself was cooked very flavorful and moist. We finished with the crème brûlée which I devoured before getting a picture. Hannah behind the bar was extremely friendly and pleasant as well.

I guess this place is a revamp of the former bistro in the hotel to a steakhouse. However most of the Steak offerings are only for dinner so I missed out during a lunch run while in the area/ Got the cheddar burger with bacon and a side of onion soup. The soup was just ok, they cooked the onions in the broth but didnt follow the traditional caramelizing of the onions first. The burger was cooked correctly and was just slight over mid rare. It however is a straight forward deal and nothing outlandish or unique. It's a bit hidden off on Lakeside but for hotel food it's decent. 3.5 stars

If you manage to ignore the "eating in a hotel lobby" part of it, you are in for a treat. Dinners in hotel restaurants are usually associated with a late night arrival to a new town on a business trip, and making do with whatever the hotel is serving because all other restaurants are closed. But not this one! The restaurant is actually on par with some of the finer ones in Silicon Valley. The appetizers were awesome. We had the Calamari and mushroom bruschetta. Main courses were excellent as well. The veal tasting platter was extremely delicious. Steaks were not bad (We had a strip steak and a flat iron steak).

3.5 stars. I was craving a big slab of meat, and was too lazy to drive to Alexander Steakhouse in rush hour traffic, so I decided to try Prime, a local steakhouse close to home. People seem to enjoy the food, and they serve Marin Sun Farm's 100% grass fed and pasture raised beef. I wish they had New York Strip or Filet Mignon. I ordered the flat iron. The restaurant is located in a hotel lobby, so it isn't exactly a romantic dinner kind of place. The servers were nice, although I was disappointed that they ran out of Brussels sprouts and that the menu in the front did not reflect the menu I was given. I was told that the menu just keeps changing. It also took about 50 minutes to get my food, and the place was not overly crowded. The side of broccoli I I had was quite tasty and exceeded my expectations (5 stars). The steak itself was just okay (3 stars)--I wish they seared the outside of it more. It was also slightly cold. The salmon that the person next to me looked delicious though. Perhaps they are still working out the kinks of this place. The waitress that I had was quite friendly. I just prefer a few other places in the same price range ( Il Fornaio, Flemings, Ruth's Chris, Parcel 104). Plus half a star because the food did seem healthy.

Place is very nice. Fancy. Bar tender not so nice only stayed on one side of the bar. Other severs was looking so serious. Does not even acknowledge guest. Need more training on customer service One of the severs (Amy) who helped us looks like the person in charge. She was very helpful and recommended a great drink.

This is what the burger looks like when they don't ask you how you want it cooked. The fries were good though!

Appetizers Bruschetta and Cesar salad were very good. Ordered the prime burger and was wayyy underwhelmed... bun tasted like it came from Costco and meat **edit- William was a great server and attentive But the bartender had his cell phone out and was behind the bar scrolling his cell

    Pure perfection!

We ordered a few small plates. Pani Puri Surprise (3/5) was a bit of disappointment. Seemed bland. Fritters with chaat (4/5), I do not remember the dish name, but this was good. The best was the Vada Bao (5/5). It is a great twist on the traditional Vada Pav with Bao buns. It was fun and yummy. For the main dishes, we ordered pinwheel ghatta (4/5) with chur chur naan (4/5) and onion kulcha (4/5) and Donne Biryani (4/5). We ordered Rose Khulfi for dessert. The experience stands out and it was super yummy. Kokum drink (3/5) was just ok We were also served a small special treat (chocolate cake) to celebrate the birthday. Overall, everything tasted good but no dish really stood out to me. The ambiance and the fun dishes make up for it. I will come back to try the non-vegetarian menu!

The dahi kebabs felt like a lesser version of what you'd get at Bungalow NYC -- not enough going on flavor-wise. The white butter chicken was surprisingly bland for a dish with "butter chicken" in the name. The lamb chops had a great presentation (they do the tableside fire thing, which is fun), but the flavor itself was bitter and fell flat. The cocktails, though? Actually really good..refreshing, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with some thought. That was the highlight of the night. Overall, for the price and the hype, I expected more. Would come back just for drinks at the bar, but probably wouldn't do a full dinner again. The service was also slow. We had to ask multiple times for a server to come take our order.

The cocktail menu is inspired by records, and you can feel the creativity in every sip. These aren't your standard bar pours -- they're clearly thought out and crafted with personality. If you're someone who appreciates a drink with a story behind it, you'll be in your element here. The live DJ on weekends takes the whole experience to another level. The music isn't background noise -- it's part of the atmosphere, and it hits right. What makes this place truly special is that you're getting two completely different vibes under one roof. Walk into Still OG up front and you get a casual, laid-back energy -- easy conversation, good company, no pretension. Then slip into the speakeasy in the back and the whole mood shifts. Alter Ego is a proper intimate lounge with their full bar, and it feels like a world away from the street outside. The transition between the two spaces is surprisingly seamless and genuinely fun to experience. And they're open late, which puts them in a rare category of places actually worth staying out for. I came here recently with three girlfriends, and we shared a variety of dishes, all 5/5! * Avocado Dip + Plantain chips: great combo with plantain chips instead of usual tortilla chips * Wood-fired Eggplant + Carrot hummus, Tzatziki: adored the carrot hummus! * Shrimp Salad - absolutely delicious with crispy shrimp, avocado, quinoa, mandarins in a lime-herb vinaigrette. Outstanding. * Disco Fries: not your average French fries! Loved the pork sausage and pickled red onions, wonderfully tart savory flavor. *Sautéed green beans - next level green beans with a creamy vinaigrette and chopped cashews *Grilled Corn: spiced coconut, cotija and tajin. The pandan caramel paired perfectly with the yogurt crème, and the coconut rice crunch and strawberries added texture. And, the plating was fabulous! *Mango Sticky Rice: the presentation alone was incredible. Best I've ever had. Next level! This is a must! No big deal, as I wanted the bar anyway, but something others should keep in mind. The cocktail list is plentiful and intriguing. I tend to avoid tequila, so that eliminated a good chunk of the options. I went with Rose Colored Lenses, which was fantastic, and decently sized. Presentation was beautiful. My friend had All a Dream, also very good. The wine offerings are minimal, this is very much a cocktail or champagne type of place, with caviar being the primary food service. Speaking of service, the bartender was excellent, both in his mixology and demeanor. It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main. More substantial food options are a mere few steps across the hall at Heritage.
