Almost the quality of a top tier big city steak house for a fraction of the price. I have dined here twice, and both times have ordered the Parmesan and Garlic Encrusted Sirloin. I requested it cooked to medium rare, both times. It was exactly consistent. My compliments to the broiler man, the steak is as consistent as Cal Ripken. The asparagus was over cooked, most likely par cooked and reheated. The loaded baked potato was loaded and very good. They salt the skin of the potato, which is something I look for in a good baked potato. The salad bar is very well stocked, and taken care of. It's one of the main reasons to go here, in my humble opinion. The staff here is more than wonderful. Management makes table touches and checks on you frequently. The wait staff is terrific. Was the food here as good as top tier steak houses I have been to? Let me tell you the steaks are dam close. The sides are definitely a drastic fall off from your high end places. I was hoping for a good piece of meat after reading most of the reviews. What I found was a steakhouse that did the peripherals very well, but they serve lousy, tasteless, overcooked meat. For the good, I had read that the tables were wobbly and ours was. The server put some napkins to level it. While that should have been done prior to being seated, the server was very kind. The service was outstanding . Concerning the food, the salad bar, while having limited choices, was very fresh and very good. It is the best in the area. The crab and spinach bread appetizer was also good. The vegetables and the potatoes were excellent as the mixed vegetables were fresh, firm, hot and very well cooked. Now it comes down to why this place gets one star. We both had the ribeyes and expected them to be juicy. They were dry and thus tasteless. They had no marbling which a good ribeye must have. It was a very cheap cut of steak and far from restaurant quality. The cut was very thin and both our steaks were overcooked. We asked for medium rare and medium. We got medium (for the medium rare) and very medium well. Dry Dry Dry. No taste to the steaks. Very disappointing. So even after eating very tasty food, the steaks were horrible and worse than many grocery chain cuts. This is totally unacceptable for a return trip. Very good !! My wife and I went there on friday night around 7:30pm. Lots of cars in the lot, but we were seated right away. The waitress came to us very quickly for our drink orders. We were in a hurry so we both just got salad bar and the Prime burger. We hit the salad bar and it is one of the nicere ones you will ever come across. The salads are always very fresh and tasty. Our burgers came out quickly, they were accompanied by season potato wedges which were very good ! Our burgers were cooked exactly the way we wanted and tasted great. When it's good it's great, But they apparently keep track if you send food back that is obviously not made correctly. My wife and I spent THOUSANDS of dollars at Prime yearly and most of the time everything was good. The last time, my wife ordered Chicken. It was burnt on the bottom side (Hidden) and we asked for a replacement. At the end of the meal we were told by the manager that the owner said to never return. I was told that we were monitored on several occasions with cameras returning food. This could not have been more than a few times a year. We never caused a scene or anything. So, [WARNING #1] they hold a grudge and can't take any sort of criticism if something isn't made properly. In addition [WARNING #2], There were a few occasions where after eating here, we got sick. I fully expect them to badmouth me here and make claims that are untrue. This is truly upsetting. I do not recommend this place anymore. I had on multiple occasions prior to this. As I predicted, The business owner has responded below with untrue claims. We did not take burnt chicken home, or ask to do so. The manager took it with him. We were ordering food takeout up to 3 time a week from here. The only complaint we had was once when we were given the wrong meal. No restaurant is perfect all the time. I wrote the review due to the treatment we received. I certainly have reflected on my actions and believe you should do the same. This person clearly only remembers negative experiences and takes patrons for granted. With the frequency of our visits there certainly would be issues with food from time to time. I will not be returning to this place. The moment a friend and I walked in we were not greeted at all, even though the hostess saw us walk in the door. Still I have her a moment to do so, and after waiting ten minutes finally had to ask for a table. After resisting the temptation to just leave for bad service, we decided to stay and give the food a taste. The food here isn't terrible but nothing blew me away. Went last night for birthday,ordered 2 filets,medium with baked potatoes,food came,one was good and mine raw & bloody,had to hunt for server,She was going to take back just the steak and leave a bloody plate there.I said take it all back.15 min.she returns with the same steak burned beyond recognition with a dollop of "mashed" potatoes ! I dined here recently. I chose to eat at the bar, no reservations. I met up with a college friend who was in town on business, this was my first time dining here. He recommended it. We came for dinner on a weekday. First impression: parking lot had a lot of cars in it. The inside of the restaurant had adequate lighting (steakhouses sometimes have dim lighting). It looked clean inside (men's bathroom was also clean). The waiting area was ample, and the bar and restrooms are accessible before you reach the host (and I don't know why more restaurants set it up this way, but to me it makes a lot of sense). The bartender was very attentive and wasn't too pushy. Since we were catching up we were chewing the fat for a long tine before we ordered. Finally I ordered cedar plank salmon with the salad bar and a side of rice pilaf. Everything about the food was great. The salmon fell apart, portion was fair, salad bar was adequate. Everything at the salad bar appeared fresh. My friend had the prime rib. It was an impressive piece of meat and looked delicious as well. At some point the manager asked if everything was satisfactory (which is unusual because we were sitting at the bar, and I mean that in a good way). We eat here about once a year. For some reason i keep getting the prime rib here and am always left disappointed (Maybe because they are rumored to have he best prime rib?).. Not sure. The prime rib here was nothing special at all. Mine didn't have a crust on the outside (like some of the photos here show.) The portion size was laughable for the price and i was left hungry after eating it. This is the main reason for my 3 star review. One should never be hungry after having a steak entree at a steak house. Although the texture was nice, the prime rib itself was tasteless. I could get the same flavor from the Trivet Diner on prime rib night. It needs a crust: some salt pepper and garlic... I must give credit where it's due: Our guest's bacon wrapped scallops were quite good, and she had pieces of sirloin with that dish that were fantastic, quite possibly dry aged level flavor. For the price, I probably won't return. If you go, get something other than the prime rib. read more

Arrived right at 7 PM for a 7 PM reservation Saturday Feb, 2 2019. We passed about a dozen people waiting in the lobby and were taken right to our table. No wait at all. Had a nice table for 2 in a corner. Lots of other diners, but the other conversations were respectful interior voices. Met our server, received water and ordered drinks. Drinks were nicely done and apps and dinner orders taken. A quick trip to the salad bar found everything in order there and fresh. Apps arrived and wife gave her escargot 2 thumbs up and my crabmeat cocktail was also very good. Our main entrees arrived and we were also very happy with those. Wife had the Prime Salmon and I had the Prime Strip Steak special. We had a very enjoyable hour and a half and will return soon. read more

Went here on a Saturday night to celebrate a happy family anniversary. Small party of just four. First off, I've got to say that our waiter was excellent and all other staff were very friendly. I liked that mask wearing rules were clearly posted at each table. We started with drinks and the bread with honey butter. The bread was merely perfunctory but quickly and politely refilled. And we all ate it because we were starving! We shared an appetizer of prime rib quesadillas served with a very tasty salsa. Everyone at the table really liked it. Next came salads. Mine was basic but very fresh and crisp with an enjoyable, slightly tangy Thousand Island dressing. Those at the table who got Ceasar Salads also enjoyed this course. There was a slight wait between salad and entree but the waiter gave us a friendly heads up that there might be a few minutes wait. It was nothing terrible. Maybe five minutes at the most and was a good break between starters and entree. Then came the entrees. Well, what can I say? Our family rarely goes out to steak houses. And I Don't know about you, but if I'm spending $27.99 on a piece of beef...I expect it to be cooked exactly how I ordered it! I ordered the filet medallions MEDIUM RARE with sauteed mushrooms and onions on top. When I cut into the first medallion I was very disappointed to see not one spot of red or pink on the beef. It was seriously overcooked. And to make matters worse, I could barely taste the onion and mushroom topping as it was overloaded with salt. Another member of the party also felt that their filet mignon had been over cooked. My son's prime rib seemed to be the winner of the night as it was a gorgeous red color and very tasty. He and I also ordered loaded baked potatoes as a side. It was a delicious side and perfect compliment to our meat dishes. For dessert the four of us shared a slice of vanilla caramel crunch cake which was just cloyingly sweet. Ick! Been here 2 times within a year apart! My first time the waitress seem tired but was nice and the food was overpriced for the quality. We did not really enjoy it and did not think to come back. I then just came back with a friend because she loves this place for the steak and shrimp and I ordered the pasta primavera and it was horrible... the cheese was so melted that it was sticking all over the plate and the dish had absolutely no flavor! I didn't return it because it seemed like a healthier alternative at the time and it was my mistake for thinking I would like it. They threw huge pieces of asparagus on top of the pasta and did not even think to cut it up and mix it in. It was just a tasteless disaster and I was disappointed. 2 stars only because the steak I tried from my friend and shrimp wrapped in bacon was good but still way over priced! Also the waitress the second time was extremely nice and even let me taste both wines before I picked which one I liked! Sorry Prime but I will be going elsewhere! I only have one complaint about my dinner here. My husband had made reservations for mothers day, they were supposed to be at 6 o'clock, when they called to confirm they said our reservation was for 7:30. They did absolutely nothing to fix it. We have a 14 month old, so going out that late isn't the best idea, unless you want a screaming tired baby. So needless to say I was a little annoyed. Both were served with a luscious lobster butter sauce. Other than the crab cakes being dismally small, I was very pleased with my meal.
