Great take out! Had a sushi picnic by the water with my best friend and everything was amazing. Pork gyoza was big and flavorful! 6 per order- perfect for sharing. We shared the steak/chicken hibachi lunch combo that came with miso soup and a small ginger salad. It was a nice portion- even had some leftover for later. The rolls were nice and fat. The spicy tuna was meaty. The Godzilla roll was a delicious! The basic shrimp tempura is always a favorite of mine- so good here! Can't wait to dine in for the full hibachi experience

Parking is tough now because Walnut St. parking deck is being demolished. However, the grub is boss. The chef's specialties are huuuuuuuge. The service is quick and timely. Place was packed on a Friday. The hostess accommodated us by placing us at the sushi bar. Get the Pink Lady!

Steak & Steel Hibachi is a Japanese restaurant in historic Bethlehem that specializes in sushi and hibachi. There is no other upscale hibachi restaurant in the area so this is a great addition to Bethlehem! You have the option to sit at the bar, the sushi bar, the hibachi room, or the dining room. With multiple dining options, there is something for everyone! I made a reservation for the hibachi room opening night. My whole experience was fantastic! The food was delicious and the entire staff made my visit memorable. I can't wait to come back! There is no delivery, but they do offer takeout/curbside pickup. Reservations highly recommended. Hibachi Cook was very good at creating enjoyable experience for us at our table. Food cooked on hibachi grill for dinner was enjoyed by all. Hibachi meal included soup, salad, hibachi vegetables, fried rice and/or noodles and protein of choice. Shrimp, filet mignon and lobster seemed to be the most-liked proteins. Waitress was awesome. We were grateful for the special experience.

Most of the team had hibachi, I had Sashimi and sushi. Everyone had a great lunch! I like how clean it was and the staff was very friendly.

I came here to celebrate my birthday with friends. It was a great modern hibachi spot. The parking garage is so close by and cheap too! We were seated promptly and our server was on point, too notch and super quick! I got calamari and gyoza apps and they were both delicious. I did filet and lobster hibachi with fried rice and soup and salad. The soup and salad was so good. I enjoyed the hibachi but i would not get lobster again, it tasted super fishy. Everything else had great flavor. I would def be back! And i even got a birthday dessert on the house which was a fried cheesecake. Great spot!

    Yellow tail jalapeño.. delicious.

As far as hibatchi goes it's adequate but not the best and more expensive than better options in the valley.

She was welcoming, friendly, attentive, informative and professional. We were pleasantly surprised with brunch menu and specials. We ordered the half carafe of mimosas. Just the right mix of champagne with a tasty orange juice in flutes. I ordered a breakfast entree, which did not disappoint. A plump veggie omelette filled with fresh grilled mushrooms, peppers, and cheese with a side of breakfast potatoes-delish! My friend was equally as pleased with her eye catching and palate pleasing Cobb salad - perfectly sized portion of mix of fresh greens(good portion of romaine), fresh hard boiled egg, picture perfect avocado, delicious grilled, tasty chicken with a side of blue cheese dressing. We opted for booth seating in the bar area( plenty of natural sunlight). There is a large dining room and outdoor seating (we chose A/C yesterday, due to high humidity). They also have an extensive list of their brewed beers on tap, samplers and the like.... which they are known for. Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday brunch( available every Sunday). Definitely, will be going back.. again and again. Extensive menu!

However, the overall experience was disappointing due to slow service, lack of communication, and issues with the food. We visited after the Lehigh Graduate Commencement Ceremony and were seated from 1:30-3:00 PM. Our server, Younise, only checked on us roughly every 15 minutes. It then took 45 minutes for pretzels and another 30 minutes for our 2 entrees. While we overheard that the kitchen was behind, this was never communicated to us directly, which made the long wait more frustrating. There was also an issue with my order. I ordered the Caesar salad wrap (Julius' Chicken Dance $14), but I was brought a Caesar salad with chicken ($3 up-charge) instead. The server did not offer to have the kitchen correct it or provide an alternative. After discussing it, I eventually asked if she could bring me a tortilla so I could make the wrap myself. A 15% discount was applied, which I appreciated, but the bill still listed the incorrect meal and reflected the higher-priced salad instead of the wrap I originally ordered. The burger was also underwhelming, as the cheese was not melted. For a meal that came to over $60 for pretzels, a burger, a salad item, and one drink, I expected better communication, food quality, and customer service. The ambiance was great, but the entrees and service unfortunately did not match the setting

Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. For apps we did the pirogies which were some of the best I've ever had, the red wine sauce was amazing!, as well as the shoulder lean which was good. For an entree, I did the Jimmy Pesto wrap. Good flavor and massive portion, but the chicken was very dry. Husband got the What's the Dilla, which was great and again a massive portion. We also enjoyed most our cocktails.

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.

We walked in and even though it was busy we were taken to our reserved table immediately. The place is big with nice decor and ambiance, and the tables are spaced out enough that it keeps the area around you quiet enough to be able to hold a conversation comfortably with the people at your table. Our server was with us quickly and took our drink orders. All of the cocktails were delicious and several of us got a second round! We got the bao buns, chicken skewers, and birria poutine to start and they were all extremely delicious. The poutine tasted more like molé though so I personally wouldn't call it birria, and the cheese was a molten cheddar-like kind and not cheese curds. It was delicious though so no one complained! I got the curry and subbed tofu for shrimp. It was a little bland and I honestly wish there would've been a bit more of the curry itself (there was so much rice) and some more salt/seasoning, but it was fine. I'd give it a 7.5/10. My coworkers all enjoyed their own dishes (especially the rigatoni) and they kept raving about them throughout the whole meal. Our server was attentive and kept the table clean and our water bottles topped up. I definitely recommend checking it out! We're keeping it i. our list for next time we're in town :)
