Then after about 10 days she reached out to them and they said, oh we thought it was an e-gift card and we'll send it to you with tracking information. First time in the Prime. Sat at the bar and had the most wonderful service from Kristen and Amber. My wife enjoyed the oysters and crab cakes. She loved them both. However the One Star is due to the fact that both my mother-in-law and myself got extremely sick shortly after ordering/eating the seafood shish-kabobs! Crown Point charm, great food and wait staff that compares to none. We come here frequently for late lunches when it is not crowded and are never disappointed. Staff was friendly and our server was good. My wife had lobster ravioli which was good except an extremely small portion for $30. I had the prime special filet with crab meat on top. For $45 I expected to have a dynamite piece of steak instead it was like chewing on a rubber boot. As for the crab meat it was not good at all and cold. I can get 4 nice filets for the same price and Sam's club and they are perfect every time. This was by far the worst steak I've had at a restaurant. Very surprised for this low quality at a steakhouse. If I go back I'll never get any steak from the menu. The upstairs seating was not the nicest either. Would of preferred to sit on the main level not sure why we got put upstairs after all it was not busy in there at the time we ate. Nice place, kinda tight seating arrangements but the place isn't that big to begin with. The service was prompt and observant. The ribeye steak was one huge hunk of meat with great flavor. The ambience was very nice. I was a little disappointed with the house salad and the blue cheese dressing that came with it. ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT SERVICE. I had a rather large group come in for my high-school graduation dinner in June, and the staff was extremely accommodating. We loved everything, and the setup was perfect. I'm pretty sure we were all in there way after they closed (the reservation was for 9pm after the ceremony!) but the wonderful waitresses patiently stayed, refilled drinks, answered questions, and continued to come check on our party. Hardly Prime! Being in Crown Point, I did not have very high standards going in, but it was still a dissapointing evening. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 7:30 reservation, and we were finally seated at 8:15. It was a Saturday night so I will give them some leeway. The service was slow but sufficient, it was hard to hear the waitress because the ambient noise level of the room is exceptionally loud. The food was not bad, but it was not really that good either. The quality reminded me of a 24 hour Greek restaurant. Standard fare salad and dressing, as well as appetizers. The crab cakes had no discernable crab flavor and it made me question weather there was any crab in them. The Ribeye was standard as well, offering nothing special. What it lacked in quality and taste it made up for in size. The baked potato was small, but again adequate. The desserts were good, and again exceptionally large. Overall I can not really reccomend this place if you are looking for a qua;lity meal. If Large portions are your guide and quality takes a back seat, this may be just the place! read more

Our waiter told us tht the lady n the bar would not share her Drinking Glasses with us. How can you operate a steak house no clean glasses??? From the rodents that were running around outside in the dining area, to the managers unprofessional manners makes me wish I would have eaten at a fast food location. The atmosphere was casual, decor is very cute. This was my first visit to Prime and it did not disappoint. I'm from Chicago and it is very reminiscent of a Chicago Steakhouse. Oyster Rockefeller was fresh, my 9oz Filet Mignon with crabmeat was tender, juicy and cooked just right. Our waitress was amazing and I wish I remembered her name but she gave great recommendations on the menu. The South African Lobster tails were good as well, I'm not a big scallops eater but I must admit I would try them again at Prime. My husband and I were having a date night at Prime and could not be more dissapointed! crab cakes had a horrible vinegar spinach on top and the crab cake was mushy without any crust. the lobster bisque looked and tasted as if it was 2+ weeks old. the consistency was disgusting. Along with our crab cakes came a swarm of fruit flies. So many that they landed on our plates. We tried to ignore them and swat them away without being too obvious. Once our dinner arrived, a whole new colony of fruit flies came along with it. At that point we asked for the check and explained why. The waitress went on to tell us they have been trying to take care of the problem, but have not had any luck, then proceeded to tell us she removed the soup from our bill. No one else came us to apologize and we were pretty much told "too bad". We paid our $129 bill and tipped the waitress appropriately. We will NEVER go back to PRIME again! read more

I was very surprised about policy at Prime usually a good service and food,but not quite sure the policy of parties of 12 you can only split the bill with only 3 credit cards for the tab even though we didn't know some of the other party we were expected to figure out our bill oo our own and we decided to pay our potion cash but the bill was one big bill so each person had to go through it to figure their portion which usually not comfortable with each person itemizing, for fine dining was not what is expected and the manager would not budge on any other way of breaking down the bill for us,if you have a part of 12 I suggest you really discuss their policy on this practice and the 20% tip included and birthday girl could not bring in her cake or did they offer her and thing for birthday not even a cupcake with a candle this is with $200 deposit read more
