I really don't know where to begin about the trip from hell! I was arriving from a 6 hour Montreal Quebec flight. My reservation was for 12pm at LAX airport. Well it all started when the shuttle was over an hour late to pick me up. I was annoyed by this but I figured oh wells at least I'm finally closer to getting home so I sucked it up. Sucking up wasn't the word for what was inside that van when I got in. The van smelled like a garbage dump. There was trash all over the van floor. The seats were buckling out of the seems and old dried up coffee was spilled in the front. The smell was so bad that it was making me physically sick to my stomach. I had to cover up my nose with the blanket I used from my plane ride to endure the trip. Scotch tape was holding together the navigation iPad wire and the driver was searching on it while driving. I don't know what was wrong with the driver but he took off with the back of the van door wide open with my poor luggage hanging on for dear life. Another airport driver had to frantically wave him down to tell him to close the back door! The next odd thing was the seat cushion next to me that was pushed forward was worn down to the stuffing coming out of the side. When I asked the driver to push the seat back right up he ignored me. I tried to push it but I couldn't maneuver it. So now I was riding in a garbage van with the seat next to me pushed forward which is very unsafe. At one point he just jumped out the van and was talking with another coworker who looked like he'd just been released from San Quentin prison. The coworker was cursing up a storm. I just could not believe it! It took this driver about 45 min to get completely out of LAX and to finally get on the way to drop the riders off. Needless to say, if it couldn't get any worse it did. The driver had no clue as to where to drop anyone off. He kept going down the wrong streets and exits although the customers where telling him where to go as well as shouldn't he already have the route mapped before hand? Smh. The driver must of had freeway phobia because I never saw a driver take side streets from LAX all the way to Covina before. By this time I was extremely car sick and was really considering just taking a cab the rest of the way but I'd gone this far so I just thought I'd weather the storm. By this time I was literally hanging on for my life when I noticed that the driver was texting and driving!!! Yes texting and driving putting all of our lives in danger. Three hours later when we finally reached my house I got out of the van. He threw my luggage out and drove away. He didn't help me with my luggage and a generous gratuity was added to his fair. My luggage was twice the weight of my 100 pound fragile body and I had to manage all of my luggage to my porch alone. Please DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE! You might not survive and you will regret it. If you can deal with bad breathe & hygiene drivers, garbage under your feet among other unbelievable unsanitary & unsafe conditions this is the shuttle for you! STAY AWAY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY! One star only because I had too. read more

On the best of days, expect the return home to take longer than your flight. My final trip with them, my plane was delayed an hour, arriving at 10:30pm. LAX is a busy international airport, but this poorly run outfit apparently didn't have any shuttles heading to OC for several hours. To their credit, they did give me a refund, but left me scrambling to find a ride home, which cost me triple what I had arranged. If you must use them, save yourself a lot of frustration and only use them for pick up to the airport. read more

NEVER CAME TO GET ME FROM THE AIRPORT --- One of the most horrible experiences I have ever witnessed. I made my reservation a week in advance. My shuttle was scheduled to pick me up at 10:50. I arrived to the pickup station at 10:20 and checked in with the dispatcher. By 11:30 there was no sign of a shuttle, and the dispatcher apologized and asked for me to wait a little longer. I did. By midnight no shuttle had shown up and she informed me that a shuttle going to my area was not going to be coming tonight. I was ushered to use another shuttle service, which gladly accepted to take me home, along with a large handful of passengers, and after 60 dollars on a new shuttle I made it home at 1:45 in the morning. Called customer service, and after a half hour of being on hold, while simultaneously being "number 1 in line", I was greeted promptly by a woman who looked up my reservation number, told me a refund was being sent to my account, and hung up on me without even communicating a sentence more. I'm glad at least they aren't disputing the fact that I never got my shuttle, but had some left over grocery money on my account, I wouldn't have been able to get home at all! read more

I ride shuttles to and from the airport frequently. Tonight was the worst experience with a shuttle service. I arrived and checked in at 8:22pm. My reservation was for 8:40pm. After 9:15pm I called and asked them why I did not even have a shuttle van # per the advice of a prime time staff member. I did not leave LAX until 9:50pm and did not get home until 11:15pm. The wait for the shuttle was ridiculous and was highly disappointed that staff were not proactive after seeing me wait longer than others and ignored me when I asked for an eta. What. The. Hell. I inquired about the "if late, then free" slogan I see on the car and the staff member laughed saying "good luck with that". Find another way home. You are better off hiring a Sherpa guide with a donkey. You'll get home faster. read more

My experience with Prime Time Shuttle was awful. I got to the dispatch person before my appointment. He told me it would be 15 minutes to 30 minutes before a shuttle came. I waited patiently. After 35 minutes, I spoke to him and he advised me to call customer service. The nice woman on the phone said she would look into it and came back online and apologized and said it would be another 15 to 30 minutes. She offered to refund the money, but after thinking about it, I agreed to wait the additional time. After more than 1 hour, I called again and after some prodding, it seems that the van HAD NOT EVEN BEEN DISPATCHED! I was not the only person who got stuck. By the time I made it home taking other transportation, it had taken longer for me to get from LAX to my house right off the 405 and Ventura than it did for me to fly from Kansas City to LAX. read more

Great experience! Pickup was on time. Van was clean. Driver courteous. Return trip was awesome! eta at LAX 12am. Actual arrival 2am. Momar was still waiting for us! Communication was very good. Van was clean & Momar was very good driver. read more

They cancelled the van one night before my trip to airport. Would not recommend anyone to use Prime Time Shuttle as you cannot trust them. Customer service person Mike was very rude, was just forcing me to cancel ride instead of providing other options. read more

This company has the worst service. A group of 6 of us had a scheduled airport pick up at LAX, driver arrived and our luggage was not out yet. Was told another driver would need to come back. After and hour and 2 phone calls our original driver Angely Tann returned. She proceeded to drive in 2nd gear from LAX all the way to Long Beach, RPM's over 5000!! Thank god we arrived safe, but the SUV was smoking and smelled horrible. When I sent a email the next day letting the company know what occurred and that not only was it unsafe as well as poor service and that a refund of 25% and the tip removed as requested. Their reply was since our trip was completed they are unable to refund my request. For your own safety , do not use this company. read more

Don't ever go with Prime Time! Waited for 45 mins at LAX Was told that they are going around again! Not sure how many stops! Customer Service is rude! The girl at sitting at LAX is very rude! read more

I admit, after reading many of the reviews, I was a little concerned about my reservation with Prime Time and almost canceled it. But I spoke with a very nice lady there and she reassured me that the driver would be there and I would not miss my flight. As this was my first time using any shuttle and in fact my first time traveling anywhere by plane, I have to say, I was a bit nervous. I was very pleased with the service and I arrived in plenty of time for my flight. The driver was very polite. And the rates were the best of all the shuttles. I only used the service one way to get to LAX, because my return flight was early in the morning and the website said that shuttle were not always available between certain hours. So knowing that, I did not attempt to use coming home. read more

My experience was ok, given they were late by 30 mins for the pickup. Needless to say it caused undue stress to make the flight on time. All of the passengers on the Van were going to LAX..or so we thought. One of the elderly ladies they picked up along the way was like ..wait a minute I am supposed to go to Burbank Airport. So the dispatcher starts to panic, and re-route to drop her off on the way onto a different van. I dont know how you can misplace destinations like that. Ever hear of booking software? Or was it a human error? In any case, ill stick with Super Shuttle for now until they mess up bad. read more

We had an awesome experience with Prime Time yesterday. I needed a ride from Irvine to LAX for 6 passengers, 8 pieces of checked in luggage plus a few carryons. We booked a private 10-passenger van for the trip. The van arrived 10 mins prior to the scheduled time. I also received a surprise text an hour prior to that with a link to track the whereabouts of "my van" on a map in real time. How awesome is that!! The driver was professional and courteous and got us to the airport on schedule. The van was in great condition too! All in all; a really, really good experience. :) read more

I've been forced to use this service a few times. None of which were my doing. Simply traveling with a group and this is how they decided to get home. Vans are dirty, uncomfortable and falling apart. After making a reservation for a pick up and speaking to a woman whom was standing next to a sign with a radio, I waited an hour and a half to get into a gross van. Next time my friends want to make this mistake I'm just going to hire a car because I can't imagine it being more expensive than this. read more

Nightmare. First I got a ride to LAX under another company Shuttle2LAX, kinda a Uber company for airport rides. It was fine and all worked out. Returning to LAX last night (Saturday) I had booked with them and I guess they use Prime Time Shuttle on leaving LAX. I talked to the mumbly kid employee at their pick up stop who confirmed I was booked and a shuttle was coming (I made my reservation and paid for it days earlier). I waited for over an hour with others who had been there waiting even before me. I was getting mad. Finally the mumbly kid said to me, "Sorry sir, my dispatcher just notified me that no one can take you to Hollywood tonight" not enough drivers or something. Had I used a cab or another service I would of been home already. I said, "what do I do"? He suggested a cab. He said I will be refunded with in two days. I will be watching my account closely. They totally screwed me. Such bad service. WARNING stay away from this crap company. read more

Worst shuttle experience ever. Used to swear by PrimeTime now finding myself swearing at them. From LAX took too many people and dropped them off all over city without logical grouping. Last time I ever use these people. Their dispatch also sucks. Wish I could give NO STARS. read more

Prepaid for a shuttle for 8 people way in advanced. Waited at LAX after a long international flight. SO BAD that its not really worth writing a review for. They don't answer the phone, even when you're waiting for them to show up at the airport. They were late, very late. They had another family in the "private shuttle" which they were dropping off at the airport. So you were late because of some other family delayed you, yet I booked a private shuttle a month in advance. You make MY kids wait outside breathing in second hand smoke because of some other family? The "private shuttle" was a disgustingly filthy old econoline van with broken seatbelts. The driver was the opposite of customer service oriented, much like this company. They could care less about child safety - don't offer car seats or boosters and they had many broken seat belts. They made my wife cry. read more

If yelped allowed for no stars this review would not only be no stars but negative 10 This shuttle service is a piece of s*** Not only did they cancel my shuttle to the airport without notification but made absolutely no attempt to try and rectify their screw up. In a poor attempt to compensate for their blunder, they set me up with a "free trip" back from the airport. Well...my flight arrives at 6am and they aren't open til 8. Not only that, they assure me that their shuttle is "on the way and should only be another 5mins..." 3 TIMES! Needless to say, I'm still here waiting for my fracking shuttle. The idiotic monkeys that are operating this stupid service needs to dig their heads out of their asses and figure it out. Oh and there is no complaint department. read more

I cannot begin to describe how disappointed I am with PrimeTime Shuttle. I took a short trip from LAX to Las Vegas to spend time with my mother on her birthday. I reserved a shuttle for 7:40 A.M. on a Wednesday morning from LAX to UCLA, so I could go to my class at 9 A.M. Upon arrival at LAX, I walked out of the baggage claim at Terminal 1 to find the PrimeTime Shuttle area completely unmanned. 10 minutes later, at 7:25 A.M., an attendant drove by on a little shuttle to "check me in" and told me that my shuttle would be there soon. Skip forward to an hour later. No shuttle. Still no attendant. And not a single PrimeTime Shuttle had driven by, so I couldn't even flag anyone down to ask when my ride was going to come. It didn't really matter; there was no way I was going to be able to get to class on time now. Another 10 minutes later, at 8:35 A.M., an attendant FINALLY shows up. To tell me that she doesn't know when they will have a shuttle for me, so I might as well walk over to the Super Shuttle line and try to catch one there. I will never make a reservation with PrimeTime Shuttle again. I couldn't believe the audacity and the sheer unprofessional nature of the whole company. read more

I don't understand all the bad reviews. I used them ĺast year from Lax to my hotel in San Pedro and they were awesome and very timely. Used them again last week for the same trip then again after my cruise back to Lax, I wouldn't use anyone else AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME Feb. 2020 read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I waited at LAX for about an hour and fifty minutes after an 11 hour flight. Upon getting in the shuttle it was another two hours before getting home. I know I wasn't alone waiting for ages, because there were MANY disgruntled groups around me. The company is very disorganized and did not have enough vans for the amount of people who had reserved a ride. Super shuttle passed with 20 vans in the time that prime time had 3 or 4. Even the prime time employee working apologized and said we should never take prime time again!! Nightmare of my life. read more

I've been on hold for 26 minutes now. I don't know why I continue to use this service. Every time I call to confirm or ask why my shuttle is so late, I'm on hold until the shuttle actually shows up. ... I posted that part a few days ago, and I'll admit it was a little unfair. My comment about the phone system stands, but the service is fine. The van only showed up late once in the 10 times I've taken PrimeTime. Also, leaving the airport is always smooth and they get your van there very quickly. I received a response to my review and that can make all the difference! read more

So far I have not had any problems taking them to SNA. Booking online gives you the best rate. Plus it's nice not to have to dig out a credit card at the airport. Coming back is a little more lengthy because you are waiting around for other arrivals. But if they don't show up in a reasonable amount of time, they will dispatch another van like they did last night. Overall, their service is good and much cheaper than a taxi, which is almost double to my house. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! call supersuttle instead. My 85 year old mother booked this and prepaid to sweetly save my husband the trip of driving her & me home for the airport.(she lives the in Orange country and we live in the SF valley). When our flight was delayed 2 hours we called to make sure they would be there, after 3 phone calls which were disconnected after 20+ min on hold, we were informed they do not pick up after 11pm and charged us a $4 cancellation fee, (which we will dispute) When we exit the plane about 12:45am and the first shuttle van we see is a primetime van. what a bunch of crooks! We were able to book with Supershuttle for the same price using my smart phone they were so nice and polite both the representative outside baggage claim and the driver took very good care of my mom. read more

I arranged a pickup at Santa Ana airport days in advance. When I missed my flight and was going to be 2 hours late I tried their customer service number, which does not work, and there text line, which gave me a robotic response. I called my son to try to reach them as my flight time was nearing. He reached them and we engaged in a 3 way call in which they assured me that my ride would be there. I was out there on time. I use a wheelchair so when the primetime driver told me that h had another fare in the opposite direction so was opting for them I was downright terrified. He told me an airport staffer would arrange me a ride and Primetime would send me a refund but that is of little comfort to a handicapped woman in a strange town in the middle of the night. These people should not be allowed to do business. read more

I wish I read these reviews before I decided to book the services of Prime Time Shuttle. The night before my flight out of LGB, I saw all the bad reviews and decided that the risk wasn't worth it. I've experienced horrible service in the past (I'm talking to you, Sprint) and I just refuse to deal with anyone with a bad reputation anymore. So I call in at 6:00a to cancel my 11:15a pick up and was informed that a 6 hour advance notice is required. I don't really have $35 to throw away so I decided to risk it--bad idea. I almost missed my flight by a couple of seconds (literally) and the only reason I made it was because I begged the people in front of me to let me go ahead of them. read more

I have never been treated with more disrespect in my life than when dealing with Primetime Shuttle. They flat out DID NOT ARRIVE. I made reservations online and paid in full. I was supposed to be picked up at 4:30 am. At 4:45 I called customer service and the representative told me the driver was 3 blocks away. I waited until 5 and called again. I was summarily hung up on. In fact, after calling back 4 times to see where the van was, I was hung up on every time I called. It was not until I called back anonymously using *67 that customer service answered. I was then told that the van would not be coming, and that no van would be coming. I had to call a cab to take me to the airport to avoid missing my flight. I would say this is the single worst company I have ever dealt with and I would encourage anyone to look elsewhere for their airport transit needs. read more

Well, these guys get 2 stars, as they did get me to Redondo Beach - a whopping 7 miles. I was waiting with a colleague for the shuttle in Anaheim to LAX. After one hour of waiting in the dark, we try to call them but got an answering machine. Tried another number with no success. Checked on the web but no easy access to the info even with their app. At the end my colleague took an Uber to get to the Airport from Anaheim as he would have had missed his flight otherwise. Do you think they called us to explain and give a refund? Of course not. Try the blue ones (Supershuttle) whith whom we never had an issue before, or a cab or Uber (that you can share to save money). By the way Uber was the same price as Prime time shuttle ($45)! read more

As a follow-up I received a note on 4/28/16. (See Below) Hello, We apologize for the delay in correspondence. We were not able to provide Mr. XXX with a SUV because the flight arrived almost 2 hours early. We are deeply sorry for the downgrade and have issued a 50% refund due to the lack of premium service. Please confirm refund with your bank or credit card company. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience to Mr. XXX's journey. Thank you, Customer Service & Reservations Supervisor While I appreciate the follow-up it took nearly 1 month and 20 days to obtain this note with a simple acknowledgement. The fact I called them on the day of the flight to tell them of this situation really burns me up. So now, could I recommend these guys. I'm just not sure I trust them to complete the task they commit to and not leave a guest or business colleague stranded thus making you look like an ass. The simple fact they did not know the ride was stranded and waiting was of further concern. They have some serious internal process, procedures, and managerial issues that need to be addressed. read more

I don't get all the hate it's getting. My experience was smooth sail. We scheduled the shuttle to the airport the night before on their website, and the next day the driver was here on time. We ended up getting the SUV because it's less stops, more comfortable and faster for only 15$ more, worth it. Prices are ok, taking an uber would have been a few bucks cheaper but some ubers can't take you directly to the airport so we didn't risk it. read more

I arrived at LAX last night around 7:30pm walked out to the shuttle stops and asked for a shuttle. First the shuttle driver told me that he was going to take the other passenger to their destination first. Fine. I acquiesced because that passenger was there first. During the ride the other passenger and I chatted and we tried to include the driver whenever possible. When I got home the driver turned out to be a total con-artist. When I looked in my wallet for my change I noticed he short changed me. Beware of Prime Time Shuttle drivers they're total con men. The ride only should've cost me $35 I only had two $20's and I only got $3 in change. How did I end up with only $3 in change instead of $5? The driver said he'll give me a $2 bill and the rest in singles. Then he proceeded to place the receipt on top of the cash. When he handed me the change it looked like the transaction was legitimate, while he slipped the two dollar bill from the change. Always look to make sure you've received all your change. Then again those people know they can take advantage of you when you're tired, stressed, or disoriented. Now let me describe the driver: a large heavy set Filipino male, in his 60's, he has a rough complexion. He claims to have had extensive experience as part of Imelda Marcos' security detail when he was part of the Philippine security service. He services the North Hollywood/San Fernando Valley areas. If you use these services make sure you have the exact amount for the ride. Otherwise, book ahead and use a credit card so you can dispute any errant charges. read more

Prime Time Shuttle - Van 679 - Airport Shuttles Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I couldn't agree more with the reviews ! We used Prime Time Shuttle on 12/24 to LAX and got there without a hitch. However, our pick up time from LAX was at 11:37 pm and we waited for over an hour for our van to arrive. I, too, tried to call the 800 number and was put on hold for a long time and then it just disconnects. After traveling all day the last thing I want to do is sit on the curb at LAX at midnight when it is 40 degrees outside.... I find it amazing that the slogan for this company is 'WE ARE ON TIME OR YOU DON'T PAY'. But that only applies to the journey TO the airport . Since it doesn't apply to your trip home they don't care. I will say that the Super Shuttle service next to us (blue vans) had 6 or 7 vans pull up for every 1 red van. The man on the curbside for Super Shuttle actually came over and took a family into their vans because they had been waiting for more than 2 hours for their van. I will never use Prime Time Shuttle again. Next time I'll use Super Shuttle! read more

Today 5 of us separate customers had to wait almost 2 HOURS for 1 delayed arrival customer on the shuttle @ LAX arrival terminal !!! Instead of arranging next shuttle to pick this customer up, the dispatch told our driver to WAIT for this person , which total amount of waiting time at LAX arrival terminal area was almost 2 HOURS!!!!! By the time I was able to be dropped of was 3& 1/3 HOURS LATER. And it would of been 4 HOURS if i did not insisted the driver to drop me off before he was planning on to drop of the exact same customer whom let us 5 passengers waited at the LAX 2 HOURS on!! Another issue we noticed was there were severely lacked of any Prime Time Shuttle Vans at the airport pick up area while we waited during the 2 hours period. The ratio of Super Shuttle vans to Prime Shuttle noticed even by the Prime Time Shuttle staff at the LAX shuttle stand said was 20 to 1! rest of the 5 passengers that were waiting in the Van for 2 hours. read more

I had a discount card and used Prime Time for my trip to and from LAX. The pick up was EXCELLENT. Only 4 passengers, the driver was exceptionally customer service oriented. I wanted to give him an additional tip in addition to the prepaid tip paid when making the reservation (But I didnt have change for a 20). The return trip home was a FREAKING NIGHTMARE!!!!!!! **MY PLANE LANDED AT 10:17 P.M.** FIRST---My pick up was scheduled for 1045 p.m. My shuttle showed up at 11:30 p.m. SECOND---The driver tried to bypass the next pickup until the curbside coordinator yelled at him, and made him pull over! (there was a seat available) THIRD--His first drop off was in Windsor Hills area (La Brea and Coliseum). The driver kept saying, I have GPS, but the passenger had to guide him. FOURTH---Although my address was on his screen, he punched in a Los Feliz address. I assumed he was just lining out his route..NO, that was his next planned stop. I informed him that he was only 2.5 miles from my house and tried to give him directions. He jumped on the 10 Freeway anyway. FIFTH---By then everyone in the van is comparing notes, trying to help coordinate a route. There was ONE passenger from Los Feliz, TWO passengers from Hollywood, ONE passenger from STEVENSON RANCH (Yes Santa Clarita Valley), some random guy that seemed to be friends with the driver, and ME!!! By now, the guy from Stevenson Ranch was livid (his plane landed at 9 p.m)!!! He demanded the driver drop him off on the nearest street corner. FINALLY---We were at my freeway exit and I insisted the driver get off and take me home! The driver didnt even get my bags out of the van, he opened the back door and stood back. I walked in my house at 1:00 a.m. I am PISSED that I prepaid a tip!!! I am not sure what happened after I got out of the van, but I am sure it wasn't pretty. Thing s to consider if you are booking with them-- LAX drop off service was excellent. Some drivers are VERY UNFAMILIAR with Los Angeles!!!! There were 5-7 other passengers there that had been waiting for to 2 hours at the LAX Shuttle stop when I left. One poor guy needed to get to Glendale, Prime Time called him and cancelled his reservation while he was sitting at the stop. He pre-paid the 100 dollar, "Black Car" service For every Prime Time Shuttle LAX pick up, there were 5 Super Shuttle pick ups. read more

Book a pick up for my mom, booked at midnight for a 4:10am pick up. Received text messages hourly saying what my pick up time would be. Waited outside and on the phone for 20 min trying to get ahold of someone. At 4:30 finally got a call saying the driver brook down on the freeway. They said they can get someone out at 5am. Then got another call 15min later saying it would be 5:30am, and told that they didn't know I booked and that was the reason I they were late. Apparently, midnight was too late to make reservation. I ended up having to take my mom to the airport, and then found out they still charged my card!!!' Had to call back and sit on hold for 30 minutes to be told my refund would process in 5-10 days. My family and I pre-booked a round trip shuttle ride from Culver City to LAX. PROS: We received a random free upgrade to the airport, which was a private black SUV, instead of a shuttle van. Nice! CONS: The shuttle arrived at our house about 45 minutes early. I guess that is much better than being late, but we weren't ready to leave so we just made them wait. No big deal. Our return flight arrived about 40 minutes late so we missed our shuttle RSVP time, leaving LAX. Primetime had my flight info already, so I was hoping they could easily accommodate my late flight and have a shuttle waiting for me. Boy, was I wrong. Once we arrived at the shuttle kiosk, we had to wait an HOUR for the next shuttle to arrive. Granted, LAX was very busy that night, but an hour? Not cool. read more

We were very disappointed in our first experience with Prime Time. The vehicle was frankly unacceptable. It wasn't anything like the red new looking vehicles you advertise. It was an unmarked white van that was beat up, dirty inside and out, seats in poor condition and had broken seat belts in violation of state law for commercial ride sharing vehicles. The attitude of the driver was also unpleasant, as if we were an intrusion. He was generally rude. You lost me as a customer. read more
