There's a few lounges at Terminal 4 via Priority Pass, but I came here since I was outside the hours for the Virgin Atlantic and this was a bit closer than the Air India one. In my first visit here, they were too busy and had a QR code waitlist, which was about half an hour. I ended up not waiting for it. But my next time, I had 3 hours to kill, so I was able to make it in here with no wait. The lounge is one big open room, so it gets quite loud with the vacuum and kids screaming. As for the food and drinks, they have some basic items like cup noodles, sandwiches, and cup salads. I was surprised to see hot fries chips here, which it's random but they're my favorite. Nothing too special really, but it's good to have.

This is a small lounge in terminal 4 at JFK. We were able to access it with priority pass. The food selection was varied and there were good options. The Mediterranean selection of hummus, tzatziki, tabouli were delicious. Overall, this is a basic lounge that can get a bit busy and crowded at times.

Came here mostly because it's one of the lounges under priority pass. At the time of this review, there's also Virgin Atlantic and Air India. The former is only open in the mornings until about 1:30pm and the latter was full when I tried to go in. With no other lounge, I figured I'd give primeclass a shot. It's a no frills lounge with a decent amount of seating. The food ranges from cold sandwiches and salads, prepackaged stuff (chips, cup ramen, cookies), and fruits (bananas, oranges, apples). They also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Overall, I thought it was an okay lounge. I guess airport lounges under priority pass in the USA generally tend to be a bit underwhelming compared to their international counterparts. Still, it's nice to find a quiet corner to do some work and snack while waiting for your flight.

That established I must most earnestly recommend this as pretty much the only way to get from Manhattan to JFK. Full stop. Period. The on-line reservation platform is tight, though me wanting to be exactly sure I phoned. And the fellow on the phone was super tight too. As was the Uber bag taxi that charged like my bag was a human but who cares. Life is short. In for a penny in for a pound. Departed JFK that evening at 8. Which meant the hired car would have had to be there by 4. Which means no last day rambles about the City. Arrived the point of departure a little early, just because. And because pre-flight libations in the cozy West Side lounge were on their house and served by lovely happiness with a smile. A few others there. Some who clearly owned their own planes, some who flew coach. All having a perfect time. 15 minutes ish in the air. Splendid views. Sweet BMW with the luggage loaded and off to the terminal with a tasty beverage in hand. Seriously. Why not. You could save a couple of shekels taking the train, but really? You can't take those shekels with you. Leave some with these fine people and treat yourself to something special. Every. Single. Time.

And, the best part? You get points for doing so. My rent happens to be a lot of money and I am a BILT Platinum member and one of the many great perks is a free ride on BLADE annually. I may live in Los Angeles but I had plans to go into the city in Mid-July and strategically stayed near Newark to 1. Save money and 2. Be able to use my BILT x BLADE perk to get into Manhattan. Ouh la wee it worked perfectly despite some not-so-great weather the morning of my flight. I took an Uber or Lyft (can't remember which) from my hotel near Newark to the BLADE lounge located so close to Newark (on Brewster Road) in the Signature Flight Support area and hung out in the lounge for a while. I used the time to drink way too much coffee, Sprite, and form a plan for my free time in Manhattan. The young adults working in the lounge were so nice and professional. My flight was on time despite the weather and we took off before the weather turned again. Our pilot, Caleb, was fantastic and gave us a smooth ride over to Manhattan. It doesn't really matter that the ride was only five minutes, we were able to see the breathtaking view of Manhattan, Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island to name a few things. Whether you're going from Newark to JFK or Newark/JFK into Manhattan, I would recommend BLADE. This has got to be the fastest way to get into the city. No traffic, no hassles. Oh, and take some time to enjoy the lounges - lovely decor and drinks. Minimal food (pretzels at best). Thank you BILT for this incredible perk and BLADE for the amazing experience.

Pros: * Easy entry, no line, just show your ticket on your phone * Bathrooms were extremely clean * Food station with both hot and cold options (AM and PM offerings) * Bar on site * Helpful staff (the person working the food station was especially friendly and had a great customer service attitude) * Screens with live train times and arrivals * Very spacious with plenty of seating and charging areas Areas for improvement: * My main issue was that almost everything at the food station has to be requested. Nothing is self-serve except for chips, not even drinks. It's inconvenient to have to ask for something as simple as a soda or tea, especially if you're there for a few hours. Overall: This lounge comes close to many airport lounges in terms of quality. I didn't confirm whether they have showers (I don't think they do). Aside from the lack of self-serve options, I really enjoyed the experience.

We checked in and showed our IDs there. We were seated immediately at a long table. It was decorated nicely, however there were still Christmas trees. They don't advertise the happy hour menu so you will have to pull it up on your phone. We got some shots and I got the winter spritz (cranberry). It was fine but didn't taste like much. Not a strong cranberry flavor. We also got chips and guac and truffle fries to share.

This place has potential, but the food desperately needs an upgrade…read more The service was a bit of a roulette wheel: some staff members were incredibly polite and accommodating, while others seemed deeply inconvenienced by our existence. So, definitely hit or miss. Once seated, we were immediately taken in by the ambiance. The space is beautiful and clearly designed for the experience. That said, it was still decorated in full winter wonderland mode, which felt a little odd given that we're well into spring. But hey, I get it -- redecorating an entire space is no small task. Now let's talk about the food, because unfortunately, that was the biggest disappointment of the brunch. We started with the pancakes for the table since there were seven of us and sharing felt like the move. On paper, they sounded incredible. We weren't exactly sold on the cotton candy topping, but the rest of the flavors had us excited. The presentation? Stunning. Instagram would have given it a standing ovation. The actual pancakes? A different story. They were so hard and tough that syrup didn't stand a chance. At one point, one of my friends dipped his pancake into his white mocha drink in a heroic attempt to make it edible. The rest of us respectfully retired our slices to the plate. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and asked if I could have the egg over easy. The waitress let me know there would be an upcharge because the sandwich normally comes with a "foldable" egg, which already sounded like something engineered in a lab. Fine, no problem. I agreed to pay. Then the plate arrived. The sandwich still had the original foldable egg inside it, and my over-easy eggs came on a separate plate like they had shown up to brunch independently. The sandwich itself tasted premade and lacked any real flavor. The hash browns were oily and over-fried -- giving less "elevated brunch" and more "drive-thru at 2 a.m."

Our bartender was really sweet and made great drinks , the cranberry vodka and Long Island were both spot on. We didn't pay extra for the additional glasses to smash, but the six cups included were enough to make the experience fun and satisfying for a casual night. I can see why people would want to buy a full bucket though as it definitely adds to the excitement. The crowd was respectful, and the bathrooms were decently clean, which is always a plus.
