The Pizza: Their sauce is pretty good, the pizza could have used a little bit more. There were parts of the pie that were kind of dry. In addition the crust is pretty dry but when it's hot, it's chewy & crispy. If there was more sauce, it would make the crust easier to eat. The chicken & spinach were fresh and good. In general I was pretty pleased with the pizza. We were hungry! Overall I'd give the pizza 3.5 stars, delivery 3 stars & price 3 stars. I'll definitely have to try this place again. read more

This is my second review. This time we were *extremely* disappointed in the pizza. We ordered our usual veggie gourmet; the toppings were sparse and the flavor was less than in the past. The crust tasted stale and was overcooked and dry. The other pizza, a margherita, looked unappetizing, with hardly any tomatoes, and basil buried under anemic toppings. It also was overcooked, with a tasteless crust. All of this for close to $30 a pizza (for a medium). Delivery was on time, and they followed contactless delivery protocols. Let me start by saying, I love Primo Pizza. I've never had quality issues before and usually their pizza is always top notch. Tonight things were just... off? As soon as I opened the box I could tell things were different. Part of the reason I love Primo is that they always dice all of their veggies/onions. When you have a slice and everything is nice and diced you don't get a bite of with a lot of any one type of thing. The red onions on my Primo Special tonight were huge, and the green onions on the chicken gourmet had to be picked off because it was huge 1inch pieces. It honestly looked like they tore the green onions with their hands... First time having the garlic bread and the bottom was pretty burnt, I hope next time I order things are back to normal. First we had a hard time finding it and when we did, we had a hard time finding a place to park! Not in the best neighborhood. There were lots of Cons, but the bottom line is, the pizza was great! Bathroom/storage room was gross, Christmas lights still up, floors were dirty, workers needed a shower and used profanity within ear shot of customers, water tasted like it was from a hose out back, workers piled delivery pizza bags on a table where people would normally be sitting, and there were "it's a boy" decorations up. I discovered Primo Pizza on one of those long, late nights where suddenly it's 2am and I'm starving and I unfortunately live in an area that shuts down at 9pm. I called in my order and drove to Primo, and by the time I arrived a half hour later, my pizza was ready. I really like their meatball pizza, and have gone out of my way to get pizza there as a result, even when it's *not* the middle of the night. I think their prices are somewhat high, but I believe they participate in a loyalty program (to which I don't belong), and they often (like now) have coupons for combo meals and also freebies (e.g. soda, cheese bread) with a certain dollar amount of purchase. The cheese is melty, the crust is crisp on the outside yet buoyant inside, and their meatballs are small, plentiful, and not overly spicy. My recommendation would be to call ahead, pick up your own order, and if you can't park out in front of Primo, there's a little parking on the side street before it. I'm not gonna lie, I've totally gone off-book and stopped at Jolly Bee (right up the street) for waffle sweet potato fries and put them on my Primo pizza. Magical! FALSE ADVERTISING, PRICE GOUGING! Started to order a pizza on the phone, based on their current web page (12/18/21). When I asked for the total cost I was surprised because it was much more expensive than their online price. I was then told that they had recently raised their prices. I said, "This is your advertised price, you need to honor that until you update your site" and I asked to speak to her supervisor. She, too, told me that they had new, higher prices but had not updated their web menu yet, but I had to pay the new price. I was told that the manager was not there for me to talk with. Primo's Pizza, located across street from Jefferson High School, is THE place to buy San Francisco style pizza. One of the only pizza places in San Francisco that offers free delivery, they have an expansive yet simple menu which includes traditional pizza as well as chicken wings and some sandwiches. They will pretty much make anything custom, including heart-shaped pizzas which I thought would be a real novelty on Valentine's Day or birthdays. Their toppings include healthier beef products as opposed to pork and the pizza is always delivered piping hot. Also, the staff is super friendly despite the fact they stay open until 4 AM. Lastly, they definitely do not skimp on the toppings. I'm not sure but I think they even put extra cheese on top of the toppings to make it extra thick and delicious. read more

Usually a fan of this place for late night delivery and decent grub. What made me rate however is the fact that no one seems to take heed of delivery instructions? It's 3 AM, people are ASLEEP. It's typically protocol to knock at these times unless it's obvious a party is going on. Um. So... I was dreaming of pizza like an hour ago while having a cup of tea. So I went on yelp to see if I could find one close in the Pacifica area.... I started messing around on the app with adding pizzas and toppings and then putting in my address... and after seeing a total of $26 for a small pizza ...
