Another order and consistently delicious! If you haven't tried the primo hoagie Italian hoagie chips, definitely check them out!

The sesame roll has a great flavor but can be a little on the tough side.

Excellent. Really can't be compared. Top quality meats and cheeses (which can be bought by the lb) everything is fresh. Excellent pricing. Wished they carried coke products.... Owners are LOVELY! They will let you sample any of their meats. Nice and clean. . Truly a hidden gem.

Came here for a lunch hoagie last weekend. I decided to grab the sharp Italian. I had a taste for a good Italian sub and I like cheese so sharp provolone sounded like a good idea. Service was good; sandwich didn't take long but it wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon. I have a slight gripe with their sub sizes. There's the mini, which is only about 4" and the regular which is about 9". The mini is too small for a lunch sub for an average person and the regular is a bit big for what I wanted. I wish the mini was a bit bigger, like 6". I got the regular and as expected, it was too big; I left about 2 - 3". I'm a 5'9" 230lb man and consider myself to be an average eater. Anyway, enough about the sizes. On to the taste more importantly. Honestly, I wasn't impressed. Decent quality of meat and the bread was baked nicely, soft inside with a light crunch outside. However, it was WAY too heavy on the peppers and pickles. Now I love hot peppers, make no mistake but when it comes to my subs and hoagies, I like a nice balance with a good amount of meat and cheese with the added light crunch of fresh condiments. Every bite was just a mouth full of bread and crunchy condiments; I couldn't even taste the provolone and I barely tasted the meat. My being unimpressed is likely another reason I didn't finish my hoagie. Maybe if you REALLY love peppers or pickles, this is the one for you but sorry, it's a pass for me. I didn't even come back for my leftovers later or the next day, which is big for me because I'm a stickler for leftovers.

Why 5 stars? Because this is definitely going to be a neighborhood go-to for me. --- --- --- Something that Woodforest has lacked are a variety of convenient, quick-service options. But PrimoHoagies just opened this week, and its menu is so enormous, that it's like adding three new restaurants in one! Perusing through that novel of a menu, there are like 16 things I want to try, and I eventually will. But to start, I went with the Italian hoagie. I initially ordered a whole, before seeing that it would have cost $27.99. I asked how large it was, and was shown some bread that looked like it would barely fit through the door. I opted to change to the middle size, which was plenty. And the taste? It totally hit the spot with exactly what I was hoping for in an Italian hoagie. I had to raid the cooler with all the goodies: macaroni salad, coleslaw, mozzarella balls, and dirt pudding. All of these were awesome. As were the Herr's chips. The only thing I didn't love was "The Killer Brownie", which was sold at the check-out counter. I visited on their third day open, and it was a well-oiled machine, despite being busy. Great job on training the all-new staff, and welcome to the neighborhood! I will be back, often!

As hoagies go this is far more like a northeastern version than most chains. I had a mild sharp Italian which features prosciutto, sweet capicola, salami and sharp provolone. The meat is cut super thin and piled up. It was however missing the distinct flavors associated with those cuts with the saltiness of prosciutto completely absent. It was a good solid sandwich though on a roll that was a little harder than the typical hoagie roll. The Philly was similar with a harder roll, lots of wiz and caramelized onions but the meat was lacking seasoning and was thicker than those grab in Philly but still filling. The Herr's chips were on point.

Nearby my chiropractor verve and decided to try. Walked in and no one at counter so it took awhile to get served.. not sure why it was just after 12. I ordered the Philly cheese steak 9 inch which was $13.99 and wanted a coke - they only have Pepsi so got a Lipton green tea which was almost $4.. so the total with tip was $19 with tip. The cheese steak was brought to my table. The first thing I noticed was the peppers were pickled and not fried with the cheesesteak. Also not much cheese on the cheesesteak. Overall good but too pricey for lunch.

Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. Portions were pretty big here and around $12-$15 a sandwich, more than enough for a single person with some for a midnight snack later. There's a good bit of seating inside with some red gingham table clothes to eat over. It's worth the visit if your in Montgomery or after a day on the Lake!

I'd have to say, the sandwich was pretty life changing and it's something I want to try to replicate, but likely can't 100%. Although they have many sandwiches to choose from, the Stallone was the one recommended to me. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a concoction of pesto, cheese, tomato and garlic? Inside it's LOADED with capicola, ham, salami, soppresata, and provolone. The sandwich was definitely a flavor bomb and I still think about it til this day. I would love to go back and try some other sandwiches of theirs too!

4.5 stars overall!…read more This is the new spot! Hitting their one year anniversary today, I can highly recommend moose and oak! The decor/setup provides a slightly upscale, but still casual, sports bar feel that's family friendly. There are dart boards and various games surrounding the tables but it's all separated appropriately. Tbh this would be a perfect place to watch your sport of choice! The lineup: SOFT SERVE MARGARITA: you read that right & The reason we came here (thanks Instagram!) we got strawberry and it was everything and more I needed it to be. Will be back for this alone. TRUST. although..... I feel like it should've completely filled the glass like it does in the advertisement $9.99 a piece! 100/10 Appetizer: fried pickles spears - YALL. I am soooo picky about fried pickles and these are the best I've had. The pickles were good, crunchy, not overly oily, and stayed together! 12/10 Pickle flatbread: apparently I felt in a pickle escapade mood. Surpringly not over pickly and delicious. I would absolutely get this again. The crust was soft and cheese was melty! 9/10 Fish tacos: average. The chipotle sauce was a bit spicy. Don't know that I would get these again. 5/10 Fries I could skip, not my fave. The street corn was so good, though I wouldn't consider it traditional &! A bit heavy on the red onion, but I enjoyed it! Their sauces were all so good! The prices were fair & I feel like the amount I paid was relative to what I had, so kudos to management for that! Last but certainly not least, Prestyn, our server was great and hilarious. We truly enjoyed her & her jokes! PS - Girl, you and your name are beautiful! The food was semi-slow to come out, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry.

NRF was on a couple. They added a wall with pool tables since it changed owners. Ordered the blueberry lemon drop, it was 9/10 and would have been 10/10 but had no sugar rim... maybe I need to request it? Usually lemon drops come with but I dunno. Also ordered grilled shrimp tacos with cheese only. They came out with only shrimp, waitress brought out a side of cheese when I asked. Three shrimp to a taco, one more would have seemed more appropriate. But they were yummy. Fries were great, some of the best sports bar fries I've had. I enjoyed my food and drink and woke return, even though they still have some kinks to work out.
