Each of us had our own tea and we shared a Durian Mille Crepe Cake. I never tried Durian as a fresh fruit before and my friend told me the mille crepe was the best next thing to it. I went with my husband and sister last night around 9:30ish and it wasn't as packed . Once I put myself in the waiting list "boom" ppl started coming in like crazy . We waited around 20 mins and got a booth seat . We started with drinks : my husband got a matcha green tea , my sister got this mango passion fruit slush and I got a lavender green tea ; all cold drinks . All very tasty ! I came here with my husband and my baby however the waitress I do not know her name as she was not wearing a name tag was very disgusting in her behavior and her Customer Service.. she came over to my table and told me that I need to keep my baby quiet because there was other customers there and she said it in a very nasty way. I felt like this message could've been delivered a lot better and, also she stood there and waited for me to tell my baby to stop talking..( very disgusting ) I felt so uncomfortable for the remainder of the night there, and it was just not a pleasant evening ...because of this I will never be coming back to Prince Tea house and I hope other families do not bring their children to this restaurant. First time at this Prince Tea House location. This location is smaller than the one in Brooklyn, so expect to wait for a table(not that the Brooklyn location is any better in regards to the wait time). There was one or 2 groups ahead of us, but our party of 3 got seated rather quickly at a spacious table that could've easily seated 5 people. We ordered the pâte à choux, coffee crepe cake, and a pot of rose milk tea. We wanted to choose green tea, red bean, and chocolate ice cream for the pâte à choux, but they ran out of chocolate. So we picked vanilla as a replacement. Turned out they ran out of vanilla, too. Well, that left us with the last flavor -- strawberry. Would've been nice to just let us know from the beginning that they only had 3 out of the 5 flavors left so there wouldn't be a point in picking flavors. Not that big of a deal, but just wanted to point that out. The caramel sauce that's drizzled all over the pâte à choux was bitter. Sadly, it ruined the whole thing. The coffee crepe cake had a good amount of coffee flavor. One of my friends who isn't a coffee lover said he actually liked it since the flavor wasn't overwhelming. I say the overall experience here is more of a 2 star but the aesthetics boost it to 3 star. The service was nice and accommodating for us customers who are slow at ordering and requested to sit at another table. We arrived at 5 pm and the place was pretty full of female customers, similar to the other Brooklyn Prince Tea House, but there were some empty tables. The prices here turned out to be a bit higher than the Brooklyn one. I guess that's the first point of why the experience wasn't as great as we expected as well. We each order the potted milk foam drinks after I tried it once in Brooklyn with my friend and really liked it. Jasmine green tea fresh tea, rose milk green tea and lavender milk green tea. Jasmine green tea was OK, taste like how it's name. I suggest mixing it with the milk foam and oreo crumbs for more flavor/sweetness. The rose milk green tea was the best and it's not too sweet but still not mind-blowing. The lavender milk green tea was least favorite because it was very bland and I'm not a fan of the lavender taste as well. We got the tofu cheesecake and coconut panna cotta since we weren't craving that many desserts. This was my second try at tofu cheesecake and it was much better than my first but I was still not impressed. It tasted like cream cheese toward the end of each bite. It was definitely more stiffer/solid, not full of pores and a full circle (my friend said it was slightly bigger here). Looks the same as the picture they have in the menu. The coconut panna cotta was a bit of a let-down just because it tasted like 椰汁糕 (coconut pudding?). I was expecting something more because it was my first time getting panna cotta or maybe it was suppose to taste like that? It had a bunch of unripe mango pieces (not that sweet) but we still finished everything. The presentation of the desserts were great but the taste for the price was not worth it. The store here is definitely bigger than the one on 7th ave Brooklyn but I prefer the latter. The lighting here is much darker and decor is better overall at Brooklyn too. Coming back here? On Thursday I went to visit Prince tea house since I was around the area. First, I was impressed about their covid safety check, before every customer going in they check vaccinations, ID and temperatures. Food, Drink and Dessert is really good compared to many cafe around main st. The food came out fast and dessert is not too sweet. Plus the store and dessert is great for Instagram content. Service : Shout out to the two guy that work, they are super helpful with recommendations and friendly. Last time I came before covid hit i wasn't enjoy the service but this time I think owner changed servers they are much better and giving full attention with great attitude. It was very lightly-sweetened which allowed the flavors of the cream, fruit slices, & crepe to emerge. Would like to try the other deserts. They have an extensive tea menu. We had 2 different pots of tea & they were indeed distinct flavors & aromas. The teas were not sweetened, which is a plus. The pots came without tea bags or leaves, so I can't vouch for how natural the teas are. I suspect that the teas are pre-cooked & heated for our pots. One pot of tea was enough for around 6 cups. I'd love to return another rime, but they're really busy & there's always a line of people trying to stare you away from your seat. Won't be a place I'd come to hang out during evenings. Very nice place to sit with friends and catch up. All their teas are tasty, fragrant and good quality. Everyone gets their own individual pot. I'm a huge tea drinker so I usually like to get my teapot repeatedly refilled with water. Unfortunately they strain the tea before serving to you so there's no tea to refill water to. Also had their fruit toast with ice cream. Of course it was good. If you wanted to improve, maybe top it with a wee bit more fruit. I thought this place was be like one of those super cute Asian cafes that they have over in Asia, but this place was beyond ugly and whoever decorated this place should be fired. This place is NOT CUTE at all and with the tacky flowery tea pots and worst of all the waffles were burnt and dry because there were not enough drizzle of condense milk. The decor is warm and homey, which makes you feel like you're dining at a fancy spot but prices are more than friendly. My favorite here is the potted milk tea. It might look real good for the gram but its really just an added bonus to how good it tastes. I always get the jasmine milk tea (30% sugar) with the potted milk foam. the milk foam is this salty sweet dairy foam topped with crumbled chocolate cookie crumbs and a mint leaf to, wouldn't you know it, resemble a potted plant. The tea flavor is strong and that sugar level for me is perfect. The milk foam lends a nice sweet/salty taste which is great. They also offer alot of other various desserts like crepe cakes, waffle and ice cream, pastries, and others. My favorite is the pate a choux. Light puff pastry stuffed with ice cream. You get 3 in an order and can choose from green tea, red bean, vanilla, or chocolate ice cream, so essentially you can have one of each flavor. They are pretty big so its a good dessert to share. The salt from the froth really compliments the slight sweet taste of the tea on the bottom, giving it a nice umami flavor followed by the fragrance of the tea leaves. I ordered the samples of three desserts and the waitress give us a cranberry Creme Brulee instead of Goma(?) Creme Brulee but was kind enough to let us keep the cranberry one to test and brought out the Goma after we waved her down. Although both were pretty tasty I preferred the Goma Creme Brulee more for its subtle sweet, nutty flavor (also because the cranberry was too sour for me and my companion). This place is a hidden gem! I absolutely love the vibe of this little cafe. This is my go-to place after a long day. My favorite drink is the potted milk foam. The desserts are pretty good too, especially the green tea mille cake, the waffle and my favorite--the honey toast. The only complaint I have is that every time I come here, they're not serving the hot foods. EVERY TIME. Either it's out, or they're just not serving it. And this is around 2pm. My favorite place to get dessert in Flushing. I've come here multiple times in the last two years, and I've never been disappointed by the quality of the place. I actually commend the management, because one time, the roof started leaking water on to my friend and me, because a washing machine had flooded the third floor of the building. My friend and I decided to leave earlier than planned, but the manager came down and explained the situation to the customers, as well as giving us a nice discount on our bill to make up for it. That kind of gesture is unforgettable, and resulted in me thinking quite highly of this place since then. Aside from that, this place has impeccable ambiance and decor. I really like the calming feeling I get from sitting down here, even though it does get crowded a lot of the time. My favorite place to sit is the "couple booth," which is a two-seater table with a curtain drawn around it when there are guests. I would consider this place a great date spot. There is quite a variety of options on their menu to choose from, whether it's drinks or food. I find the tea options to always be overwhelming, but in a good way. I enjoy getting the Rose Lover Milk Tea, which is a warm pot of tea to be shared, and off-setting it with some cold scoops of ice-cream. The waffle is also a viable option when you're feeling a little hungrier, as that will fill you up. There is a $20 card minimum here, so don't let that trip you up. I must also say that I really like their bathroom. If it's occupied, there's a mirror outside it that you can stare into for some self-reflection, to keep you entertained while you wait. All in all, a solid place to grab dessert with either friends or a date, or even by yourself if you're living that introvert foodie life. read more

The service is also a lot more depressing as they just try to get your order, bring it out and leave you alone until you have to pay.. After being seated we were asked 4 times within 5 minutes on if we were ready to order in which we weren't. I was busy handling my 1 year old toddler that was running around inside the booth and everyone was still looking at the menu. We ended up trying to hurry and just ordered some tea and some dessers when the waitress came the 5th time. We got the lavender milk tea, fruit tea, 2 other teas, the lava cake, and the mango crepe. I do not suggest getting any of the desserts we ordered. The mango crepe was extremely bland and did not taste like mangos. There was no taste of mangos in there at all. Everything tasted like it was refrigerated. Not fresh at all! The molton lava cake tastes better at the Brooklyn location. The one here d idnt even have chocolate flowing out. It was just kind of stuck there. The lavender tea was also a bit plain tasting. Not as creamy and floral as the one I had in Brooklyn. First of all, I love the interior of this place. It is very modern and surprisingly not tacky. We wanted to order the black sesame crepe cake but they didn't have it so we got the green tea one and the purple yam soufflé. The waitress notified us that the soufflé will take about 20 minutes which we were fine with. However, the green tea crepe cake took almost 20 minutes as well. Were they making our cake from scratch? It was good though. The soufflé came shortly after and it was a bit disappointing. It was overdone and it wasn't fluffy as it should be. Service here was not good. I had to flag down a waitress for our check. Also, not one waitress bothered to ask us how we were doing or refill our water.
