I reordered the strawberry again via Uber Eats. This time, everything ran smoothly, from order, to driver pickup, to delivery. The driver even made a comment about how great the aroma was at the bakery. I liked that the bakery had placed the bread in a reusable Molokai Hot Bread Bag. Of course, I will keep it. Remembering how the strawberry bread fell apart while slicing it before, I tried a different tactic this time. I used disposable gloves which I had on hand at the office and carefully tore the loaf along the center crease. After I had the two halves separated, then I used a disposable plastic knife to slice through each half. The result was neater than our first brute-force approach almost a year ago. I enjoyed the bread much more this time, although I still had to be careful because there was so much filling. Others who tasted it liked it as well.

I live and work in town and I rarely leave town, but just to visit this place again, I drove all the way out here to get another dessert from them! The staff is so cute and friendly and their fruits are relatively fresh! It's a pretty sizable cup of ice wave and it's definitely a shareable size, but I can easily finish it myself because it's so good! This is one reason why I leave town. I'm really hoping they open one in town soon. It's also great to support local businesses! I'll be visiting this place sometime very soon again!

Service was quick and easy, making it the perfect grab-and-go spot. The soft serve is my favorite, and it definitely did not disappoint. I got the swirl with vanilla and strawberry. It was just as good as I remember it. Creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. The small size was still pretty generous. There are lots of local snacks and goodies available for purchase. I haven't tried it yet but the customizable popcorn is such a fun touch too. What a lucky find today as I meandered through the Hawai'i Market Expo…read more Homemade Okoshi, Korean mochi, tropical butters and more. Okoshi is a traditional Japanese puffed rice snack made by mixing toasted grains with syrup and sugar to create a crispy, crunchy treat. This particular Okoshi is different as it's less sweet and the one I purchased is made with Barley grains. I really enjoyed the texture and Barley grain taste. Enjoy with hot tea or ice tea and I believe you will be transported to a happy place. I met mother and daughter team at their booth offering samples of the Okoshi and tropical butters! Chef Kay Chibana and daughter, May Travis, at their Mo' Betta Butter Co. are just starting up this business, however both have prior food and restaurant experience here in Hawai'i. I was offered samples of the original rice grain and Barley grain Okoshi. Both are delicious. I favored the barley one today. I also tried the coffee butter with a cracker sample.
