I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but due to how much it cost us even after all the bullsh** with this company, I have to leave an honest and detailed review so this doesn't happen to anyone else. I requested quotes from Yelp, and out of 5 quotes, I narrowed it down to two. I went with Pro Brothers because they had good ratings and had good reviews. Well, let me just tell you that after a couple hours of them arriving, I instantly regretted hiring them. I'll start with the positives first. They arrived on the earlier side of the time frame I was given. They were moving fast. They were properly wrapping everything. Here's for the part I don't like writing. They showed up in a truck that I felt was not going to be big enough. After 4hr of them being there, when in my opinion they should've been wrapping it up to get on the road, they still had well over 40% of the house to still pack up. Mind you I had my toddler with me who was keeping me occupied, at one point I looked up to watch what and how they were packing the truck, one of the movers was carrying a single item. And when I say a single item, I don't mean a box. The guy had just the leg of the bed, or a small piece to my weight bench. Are you kidding me?!? I could've walked out of the house with far more in my hands. 5.5hr later, they tell me that not everything is going to fit in the truck. Whhaattt?!? They asked me, what HAS to go? Are you kidding me? I responded, we're moving, EVERYTHING has to go!!!!! They tell me that not everything will fit and that they're doing their "best". I was livid at that point. For starters, it shouldn't have taken 6hr to pack of a 3bd house, last time we moved, the company we used was in and on the road in under 4hr. Then, you want to tell me that not everything will fit?!? I walked through the house and there was still quite of bit of BIG items like an exercise bike, floor lamps, a desk, a printer, long mirror, my dumbbell set, AND everything on our back patio (bench, chairs, grill, bikes, baby's slide, water table, tricycle.) my husband works 6 days a week, 12hr a day 100mi away (which is why we're moving) so now, my husband has to hire another moving company or find a day and time where he can do it himself. Going to start wrapping it up because at this point I was livid and just wanted to get on the road to avoid traffic. I arrived to San Diego about 15min before them, so I give them credit that they did good time. My husband met us at our new home. At this point my husband had just gotten off from a 14hr day, the last thing he wanted to deal with was movers. Well, we decided to help them move as much stuff possible so it could speed up the process. With our help, it still took them about 3hr to unload and they still hadn't put our furniture back together. I had to leave to care for my daughter elsewhere because it was late and clearly we were not going to be able to get her in a built bed by bedtime. My husband wrapped up. He then tells me that at the end of the night, they had the nerve to ask for a tip and a good review when he was paying. Ha! Obviously that was not happening!!!!!! Again, I do not like writing bad reviews but I really would hate for this to happen to anyone else. It's not cheap to move as it is and then to deal with this, ugh!!! DO NOT HIRE!!! We were a bit skeptical at first, but Pro Brothers are a new business who did a great job with our move! The manager was super responsive throughout the initial process of booking and was able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. They were super detailed and helpful. We hired three movers to help move our large apartment (the photo doesn't do it justice, just a quick snippet). They helped disassemble and reassemble all of our larger furniture items and made sure to wrap everything with care to avoid any damages. They also provided wardrobe boxes and packed some of our smaller items for us. The biggest success of their team was bringing down our 95" long/175lbs couch from the 3rd floor balcony and then bringing it up through the 2nd floor balcony of our new place. This was definitely not an easy task but they did so without any damage to our expensive white couch. Everyone was super friendly and even our pup loved them.
