Tony is such an awesome guy. My son bought an older, classic car 5 years ago. He took it into Tony's shop. My son was very young and inexperienced with cars. They were very honest and upfront with him. They would take the time to educate him about the car. My son was always very happy with the work they performed on the car. My son had three cars he had to juggle. He made the hard decision to sell the car. My son recently had the experience of buying another older, classic car from a very untruthful and deceiving man. We made the mistake of not getting a pre-purchase inspection prior to buying the car. That was one of our mistakes. Once we got it home, the first thing he did was call Tony. Tony was accommodating and had his staff look at the car. He created a list of all the things wrong with the car. The list was long and expensive. Tony took the time to talk to my son about the items and again educated him on the items. He gave my son his opinion on what he should do with the car. Purchased a set of Michelin tires, and requested shop to mount + balance wheels. The absolute best out-the-door price and was able to get me in on last minute notice. The installer went the extra mile and painted the wheel weights black to match the wheels inner color so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Never had a shop do that before. The waiting room had refreshing A/C and their restroom for clients is cleaner than some restaurants I've been to. read more

Car was misdiagnosed....said water pump leaking ....it turned out to be a simple hose!!!!

I desperately needed an oil change and this was the only shop open by 8:30am on a Tuesday. They helped me out really quickly and in a friendly manner. Turns out my car was burning oil faster than I could get my scheduled oil changes and I was basically empty. They let me know to have my oil levels checked periodically to protect my car from future damage and upcoming maintenance recommendations. Thank you Pro Motors. read more

My van needed an alignment, really badly, and so I dropped it off with tony and walked home a few blocks down. A few hours later, I drove there in my other truck to pay for the service and told Tony that my son would be picking it up when ready...he said "it's ready now; I just have to bring it down". He took my card and charged me. I could not wait due to a pending appointment so I paid and left. When I get home my son tells me that he could not fix the alignment due to the left wheel having some issue? ... but he charged me anyway. I called and he agreed to refund me my $ which is righteous but why the miscommunication in the first place? That is why this place gets 2 stars. Update: 9/29/2018. Yelp did not drop my review, I realized years later that I never posted it, so I hit submit! Haa. Owner replied, which is good. Most of the time when mechanics have an update they call their customer. The line of communication was a bit blurry by giving my son a message (I think that is where the mistake happened). Brought in my 2006 Pontiac GTO for a leaking oil pan and they came through finding more problems that I wasn't aware of. They worked on my car for over two weeks making sure they found all the parts they needed to also do my rack and pinion, water pump, and oil change while they were at it. The owner of the shop is very knowledgeable on high performance engines and really went out of his way to find the hardware for my discontinued car. The pricing was fair for the amount of work that was involved and provided me a lot of detail in understanding what they were doing. Got the car back and runs great and I couldn't believe how much smoother my power steering is now, it's even better then when it was when I originally got the car! Pro motors definitely lives up to their name. Their business is conducted with professionalism, respect, and quality. I recently needed an airbag replacement, brake flush, front suspension replacement, and alignment. Everything was done in a timely manner. There was a small mistake with reassembly and a minor scratch which was corrected at no cost which shows a high level of accountability that is good to see. Took my car in after I read the great reviews about this company. I have to say I am really disappointed! My vehicle was idling high and not running well (but running). I was charged $200 just to have the vehicle looked at... no work done on it at all! The result...I was told that my vehicle needed a new engine which would cost about $4000, but not to worry cause they offered a payment plan?!? My relative took me over to pick up my vehicle from their facility in which she confirmed that she had also previously taken her car to Pro Motors and was charged a high amount as well. She stated that if she had known I was going to take my vehicle to Pro Motors she would have definitely advised against it! Very unsatisfied customer! read more

Spent $500 and 6 hours a week ago to fix brakes. Still squeaking. Spent 4 hours today waiting for the inspection re-identify problem which was never identified. Left parking lot and braked at next light, brakes squeaked heavily. I'm not sure what kind of fool they take me for personally, or what "full inspection" was completed, but each time I was offered more services that didn't fix my current problem, but would make the place more money. Took my car to get checked out over a code ,was told my cars tcm had multiple pins on the plug that weren't making contact and that my vehicle had a transmission leak was charged near $700 , the same code comes up again a few days later I take it back they couldn't fix it with the warranty , I didn't agree with the results he then caught himself in a lie when he explains what they fixed I was first told he fixed multiple pins on a computer terminal which for $700 maybe that's worth it but it appears he forgot what he told me the first time because he then tells me they fixed ONE PIN on a solenoid and I go to see the bolts on the solenoid cover to replace it and they look untouched read more

Went in the other day to fix my ac. Very friendly staff. They took a bit longer than I expected but overall satisfied that they were able to check the whole ac system and letting me know what was being checked and what the problem was. 1999 Lexus GS400 - Alternator, Bad battery terminals, Power Steering leak. Trust ... a word that you rarely include when speaking of a mechanic. I finally get to use this word when speaking of Tony and Mike. I trust my vehicle with them for the service they performed and the completed work. As Tony said to me that helped me decide to use their services, from what I remember, when I was calling in search for a mechanic, "Do you want a cook or a chef to make your food at a nice restaurant?". My personal interpretation is do you want a mechanic to work on your car or do you want a specialist that has a lot of experience that will diagnose and plan the corrective action to fix the problem the first time. I appreciated the treatment I received here. Tony and Mike were very nice and informative. I took my car there to have it inspected for an oil leak, which there was... Tony did not charge me and informed me that, instead of having the work done there, I could take it to the dealer for repair... I was under the impression that since I had bought the car from Carmax, I was only able to take it to their authorized repair shops. Tony quickly called me, after the inspection and told me that my car was still under warranty and he advised me to take it to the dealer (they'll have the parts needed there-which will save time and money -for a rental). I could tell that he was thinking of my best interest and not his pocketbook. I've been "taken" before... and I'm always somewhat skeptical. But Tony and Mike were very informative and THAT reassured me!! I'm grateful that there are honest people out there who wouldn't take advantage of someone who is naive to their business, but guides them to the right direction. I was in a jam and needed rear brakes bad!!!!! I rolled over to Pep Boys and waited in line for 15 minutes before anyone even said hello. I get to the front of the line and I say how long would it take to get rear brakes? He says in two hours we can take a look and see what is what. Needless to say I left and drove over to Pro Motors Auto. I pulled up and thet greeted me immediately. I asked the same question, how long? He says an hour and a half. Done deal the techs were amazing the follow up and customer service was on point and I will be back for sure. Worst place ever! I came here based on the Yelp reviews. The other reviews may be from People that knows the owner or paid. My last work on my car was due to a clicking noise I had when I turned my wheel to the left. The job cost me $400. The owner told me that theirs another problem with my car and will call me back once it's ready. My car has been at his shop since 9am. I called to pick up my car at 530pm. I had to go into work that evening. Long story short, he request me to drop off the car again the next day. I agreed to give him more time but fail to mention the actual problem. As I drove off the lot, my car did not go over 30mph. The engine was running as I push the gas but my car was not moving. This was not a problem I had before. Can I say scam?? Of course, he wants to me to go back. NEVER again will I come here. read more
