I called to check for availability around noon on a Saturday afternoon. There was a small wait and I ultimately got assigned John who did an incredible job. After showing him my preferred design, he matched it and even made improvements. He was able to explain the decisions he made, and patiently answered all of my questions even though I had a lot of concerns and doubts. The 15-20 minute commute from Irvine to Costa Mesa is totally worth having John do my nails. He is exceptionally skilled, easy to talk to, and even transparent on pricing. Hate to write a negative review but they have to be paying for these good reviews. To start- it is dirty in there. Sticky front door and windows. Dust everywhere. Smells strongly of cheap perfume. The tech that removed my gel drilled my cuticles to the point it made me jump- 3 times until I asked him to stop and then he still asked me if he could use the drill. I said no- he then just didn't even bother removing the rest of my gel. Polish looked terrible- took it off as soon as I got home. I really shouldn't have paid- what a mess! read more

I've been going to here for the past four years and the service has always been really good. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my experience. I went in about two weeks ago for a classic gel x set with a French tip, and a new male tech did my nails. They turned out extremely bad, and the service took two hours even though I had another appointment to get to. I never speak up, but I told him it was taking too long and that I had to leave. Even though the nails came out terribly, I still paid and even tipped him because I've always tried to be a respectful, loyal customer. When I checked out, I let the front desk know that the set was really bad and that I'd need to come back later that night or the next day to fix them. They ignored what I said and just wanted me to pay, despite me being a loyal customer for years. I was always going to pay I just wanted them to understand I didn't like my nails. I called immediately after my appointment to try to reschedule a fix when I got in the car because I had to go to my other appointment, and they clearly knew it was me calling. In the middle of explaining the situation, the girl hung up on me. I ended up going somewhere else the same day, after the appointment I was rushing to because of them, and paid another $90 to have my nails redone. I'm really disappointed in how they chose to handle this situation. As much as I loved going here, I won't be back. They showed zero loyalty or care for long-time customers. Very upsetting read more

SERVICE I walked in and was taken right away by a young man. I wish I got his name but his communication, shaping, and polish application for my full GelX set was flawless. Better yet, he executed exactly what I asked for in 30 mins! I've never had someone finish a nice set that quickly. PRICING I paid $55 for a solid color GelX set which I think is reasonable. I didn't inquire about the price of other services. QUALITY The nail application was done very well with no gaps near my cuticles or glue spillage. The shaping is flawless, no crooked or misshapen nails. Polish application is flawless without lumps, bumps, or gaps. It's only been 1 day, so I'll have to see how the set lasts, but he assured me they should last a minimum 3-4+ weeks. FACILITY The facility is overall decently clean but beautifully decorated with gold accents and nice chairs. It is spacious with many seats, able to accommodate many customers at once. There is a bathroom easily accessible and the skin for use after manicure services has clean cloth towels to wipe your hands making the experience feel more luxurious. They have a TV playing music and nice landscape scenery. TIPS They give 5% off if you use cash, which would have costed $52.25 however I was charged $53. Not a big deal, however I forgot to mention the 20% off first time customer discount they seem to have advertised here on Yelp, so be sure to speak up or they won't offer it! read more
