Pro Nails is by far my favorite nail salon in OC!!! I've lived in quite a few different areas meaning I've been to many salons. Since moving to Costa Mesa, my boyfriend actually found this place for us both to go for a mani/pedi! I've been back myself multiple times because their staff is amazing, and the quality of their services is unmatched. Today- Henry did the BEST set I have EVER had! I was nervous at first because the set I picked was pretty complicated, but he didn't even hesitate to tell me he could do it and helped me pick out all the colors. He worked so quickly and seamlessly. I'm still in shock at how much I love them and how AMAZING his skill set is!!! I'm going to Coachella this weekend and Henry gave me the set of my DREAMS! Highly highly recommend this salon over others in the area! Henry- I will be back and THANK YOU so much! You are so talented

I came here to get my nails done for my wedding, and my nail technician was Henry. I showed him an inspiration photo of pink ombré nails with white 3D flowers, and he copied it so well. After seeing one of the 3D flowers I asked if I could have all my nails like that but he said it would be too much so he did partial flowers. His expertise in nail design resulted in beautiful nails perfect for my wedding. It took about 1.5 hours, and the price was very reasonable at $89.

Pretty disappointed and I really wanted to love this place as my new salon in the area. Got my nails done last Monday and by day 3 the gel was lifting off my nail. One has fallen off entirely. Great prices but not worth if by day 3 you can't flaunt your nails.

This nail salon was my go to place for pedicures. Today my experience left me feeling that I'll no longer be returning to this salon. The prices on the pamphlets in store are outdated as well as what the pedicure services include. You pay more and receive less. You are not made aware of the price increase until you check out. The manicure received today was very sloppy and rushed. The man left the nail dip all over the back of the nails. When we were looking at it we were told that we could just wash off. The dip was not evenly coated in all the nail. The color is uneven on the nail as well as the texture. You can also see some of the white powder over the color dip. It was overall very messy work. I wished the man was more careful and had more attention to detail. UPDATE: These nails did not last a week! These are the nails with dip after 5 days.

Came here on a whim because my usual nail spot was closed for renovation. Turns out this tiny nail shop does some fantastic nails, and I'm not going back to my old shop. I've now been twice to Pro Nails and have had great pedicures from Tommy and amazing nail art from Steven and Tammy. Let me be clear, I'm picky when I get nail art, and have been disappointed with pretty much every nail place and their nail art, so usually stuck to french or solid colors but Tammy and Steven are artists and allowed me branch out. They are patient and skilled and know exactly what they're doing. The shop is clean and well-kept and usually bustling with people, but the staff is courteous, professional, and keep things moving. The parking lot is my main gripe and gets pretty cramped and full, but there is a lot behind the shop if all spots are taken. This shop and its staff are a hidden gem. Don't miss out! read more

Got my nails done by Piper and she did a great job! I was doing a trial for wedding nails and I am pleased with how they turned out. She was very patient with me and paid special attention to detail. I will be coming back to get my nails done here for my wedding for the real deal! Also was happy that this gel manicure with the ombre and gemstones was $47! I was originally quoted at $65-80 so glad that it was more affordable! read more

Helen was so great! She did my pedicure and was so sweet. It was my first time in and she described the different options very well and the pedicure itself was such a treat! I got there and I got sat down right away. I showed the lady the picture of the nails I wanted to get and i asked her the price and she said one I was like fine do them. She asked me if I wanted them long like the picture and I said no I want medium length. So she was working on my nails fast like she had some else waiting. As a mom it's my me time away from the kids so for her to rush to get my nails done was really disappointing. read more

This was my second time at this location, but I haven't been here in years -- and after this experience, I won't be back. I came in to get my nails done and opted for a gel builder set. I already had an old set on, and I asked the technician if she needed to do a soak-off since the gel was lifting. I'm still new to gel builder (I usually get Gel-X), so I was genuinely just trying to understand the proper process. Instead of explaining or helping me feel comfortable, she seemed annoyed that I even asked. She aggressively filed my nails -- I could feel the pressure, and it felt rushed and careless. When she asked what shape I wanted, I said, "like my natural shape, so I guess square." But the result? My nails are not proportionate to my hands at all. If you look at them, you can tell something is off and it started to lift the moment I walked out of the nail salon. Throughout the service, she kept saying things like "I'm wasting my time and taking longer by making the gel thicker for you." That comment really rubbed me the wrong way. I'm literally paying for a service... how is it a waste of your time? I also noticed she didn't ask me to wash my hands after filing -- something most nail techs do to remove dust before continuing. I even asked if I should, and she ignored it. I left feeling gross and worried about sanitation. And the worst part? Based on how she was going about my nails, I had a gut feeling the gel was going to lift -- and it did. Literally the moment I walked out of the nail salon. I really wanted to like this place again, but the experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and disappointing. read more

I've been coming to Pro Nails for a couple of months now and I always get someone different. But I do want to point out that Angie and Natalie are really good at what they do! Angie has done my the last 2 times and they always come out with what I had asked for. I work in healthcare so I ask her to do my nails short. She takes her time & always ask if the shape is ok. I can't recommend Lani enough -- she is truly a master of her craft! Every time I leave her chair, I'm beyond happy with how my nails turn out. She is so precise and pays attention to every little detail, making sure everything is perfect. On top of being incredibly talented, Lani is also one of the sweetest, kindest people you'll meet. Whether I'm coming in for something simple or a more detailed design, she always takes the time to make sure I love the final result. I LOVE MY NAILS FOR MY TS CONCERT! I got in and out so fast and it was only $25 for the gel manicure. Super reasonable price!! Michelle was my nail tech and she did such an amazing job. I called about hour before to see if she could take 3 walk ins and the owner said yes. Upon arrival, she was outside and saw us walking up and greeted us, asked if we called and walked us inside the salon. Everyone seemed super patient and kind. I had a gel deluxe pedicure with My! Her massages were GREAT! SO relaxing, that I just closed my eyes pretty much the entire pedicure. My parents have owned at least 5 nail shops for 30 years of my life. That was easily the best massage I've ever experienced a nail shop! I had a terrible experience here. The technician actually cut me while doing my nails and barely even acknowledged it. On top of that, she clearly didn't want to do a third coat, even though the color was streaky and sheer! My nails were overly filed and I was charged as if I was doing a whole new set when I asked for a fill. The shape is also awful and very inconsistent. I paid for a professional service and left with painful cuts and nails that look rushed and sloppy. read more

I think I found a new place for my feet and it's closer to home. I get ingrown on my right big toe and I went in, in terrible pain, after my last pedicure at my go to place that is no more & further away. My tech took her time and did a great job getting me sorted back out and now it's pain free! I like that she used a dremel on my callously areas and she communicated with me great. Had a lovely experience at Pro Nails & Spa! My fiance and I came to Pro Nails & Spa as we had a wedding event the next day and wanted some pampering. My fiance and I both did a luxury pedicure and I did a deluxe manicure (regular, not gel). We arrived around 1PM on a Friday and it was a bit busy. They had us take a seat but they were quite speedy in getting a spot opened up for us on the chairs. My fiance and I even got to sit together! All the workers were so friendly and nice! Thi did my pedicure and Mimi did my manicure. There was a promotion and all services were 20% off. The massage chairs were great as well as the foot spas here. The other stellar thing was the wonderful customer service. What lovely people! Had a great experience. I'd do it again! read more

When I called, they told me to come in anyway, which I really appreciated. Once I got there, everyone was so kind and accommodating. I asked about getting a fill and changing my nail shape from coffin to something new and they immediately said they could do it. They were so patient with me and even didn't charge extra for the shape change since it was my first time there, which meant a lot. They stayed open past closing to finish my nails and I didn't feel rushed at all. Via did an amazing job and I absolutely love how my nails turned out! Overall, such a great experience. I'm really grateful for their kindness, flexibility and attention to detail. I'll definitely be coming back!

I was pressured into up charges for colors and designs which I finally spoke up for myself and changed but I'm super unhappy with what was to be celebration nails.. they just do not look good- and now I'm fixing my own feet which was the whole reason I went for a pedicure.

I was late to my appointment, which I called prior to coming in to make sure it was still okay for me to come. They assured me that it was okay and that they are ready for me. When I came in, I immediately knew the energy was off. Since I sat down, they were saying things like "oh yeah, she was late so she can wait for us". One of the other nail techs even say "oh feel free to charge her whatever you want" to what my nail tech said "yeah I'm gonna charge her $7 extra". They didn't know I was fluent in Vietnamese. I didn't say anything because I wanted to continue to hear what they had to say about me. They also asked me where I was from and if I lived in the area. I am assuming that they're asking this to gauge what my ethnicity is. Also, they kept bringing up the fact that I was late. If me being late was such an issue, why say that it was okay for me to come and that they are ready for me? At the end of the conversation, I asked what the charges for and they said the $7 was for callous remover. I just took it as that and didn't call them out on it. Right before I left, I told them in Vietnamese that if they were going to talk shit, make sure I wasn't Vietnamese and that people don't understand them. Their shocked faces made the whole experience worth it tbh. In short, these people are probably going to talk shit about you the whole time.
