Since this is not the only toilet, removal/replace is not an emergency. Will do it on Monday. There was no additional charge for the return visit. There will be a charge to remove old/Replace which seems very fair to me. This business is now called NG Rooter and Plumbing. I had this company come to see why upstairs toilet was not flushing properly. The technician, Victor, put a hand snake into the toilet two times. Flushed and water went down, but slower than normal. I said I did not think the flush was powerful enough. Victor said, "It's old." So in less than 5 minutes, he was on his way. 5 flushes later, the toilet still has a blockage. Phone calls and text messages have been ignored. Still waiting. Victor pointed out the phone number on the invoice and said to call if I had any problems. Wonder how long it will take to get a response.

I had very poor water pressure coming out of my bathtub and Capelli plumbing came to diagnose the issue. I paid for one hour of labor, (which is fine), however, I was told I'd be getting an estimate for them to come complete the job/ look for other issues when they could send a plumber with "more experience" with showers, etc. The initial interaction was great and understandable. Almost 3 weeks after they initially came - I've called twice and politely asked for an estimate and it still hasn't been sent to me, no followup, etc. I finally ended up calling another plumbing company and the issue was fixed within 1.5 hours, during their first visit. Thank you to the Capelli team, however, I don't feel comfortable using them again as I am confident the initial triaging of the main issue should not have taken a full hour when it only took the other company 5 minutes to explain what he'd be doing and fix it. I would reconsider my review of Capelli Plumbing if they hadn't spent an entire hour at my place & charge for labor only to tell me they'd send an estimate that never came. After seeing how quick the other plumbing company fixed it, I sincerely feel Capelli Plumbing did not need to spend an entire hour at my place and could've left after 10 minutes if he didn't know how to fix it. I was told that a 'tech would call me back within a 'few minutes. No one called me back after 22 hours so I contacted them again. Instead of giving me the opportunity to speak to a professional plumber, (gatekeeper non plumber receptionist) Sheri tells me that the only resolution for my clogged drainage piple is for their company to remove and replace the entire 60 feet of underground pipe under my flagstone walkway leading to the street. This is an assessment made by a receptionist without me ever speaking to a plumber.

I called them on a Wednesday evening and a man answered on the second ring. I told him what our issue was and he immediately said he could help and was ready to send someone the next morning. I wasn't available that day but was available on Friday, and he instantly said that worked for him and gave me a window of noon to 2:00 pm for arrival. Carlos arrived on time and was an incredibly nice, friendly, professional guy. Our problem was a simple one: sediment had collected in the head of the faucet over time and was blocking the water from coming out. He showed us what he removed, how to remove it ourselves next time, and told us that it's a result of the very old, original pipes in our home collecting that sediment. He arrived and finished the job within 30 minutes, tops. Incredibly smooth transaction and experience. Would definitely work with these guys again in the future.

The plumber (Mike) quickly fixed the sink and told me he needed to take the tub faucet apart to see what part was needed. Then he went out to his truck and came back saying he did not have the part and would need to go to Home Depot. At no time did he tell me he was going to charge me the repair rate of $187/hr for the trip to Home Depot. When he returned an hour later, I asked for the receipt for the part but he refused to show it to me. He charged me $145 for the part I later saw on Home Depot's website for $71. Since I never saw a receipt I don't know whether he went to Home Depot at all. Maybe he just had lunch on me. I do know I paid almost $200 for him to go to Home Depot! The total bill came to $646.91 and he did all the calculations on his tablet. I never received a receipt. Albion's website says their pricing is honest and transparent but it is neither. When I reported Albion to the Better Business Bureau they offered to refund about $65 for the part (admitting they overcharged me) but I have never received this money.
