I've been here twice so far and both times my nails have chipped off the next day. I don't know what it is! I really want to like this place because they do a proficient job and it's not ridiculously overpriced. The first time I came, I got a fill and a pedicure. They were very nice and had a good variety of basic colors. My sis gets the gel manicure and pedicure when we come. She says the gel lasts comparing to other places. Everything was great for me until the second day. My nail chipped. I was so upset and I thought "well maybe it was me". I came in last weekend (Sunday) and got my fill and pedicure all was great and honkydory and then last night (Monday) I realized my pinky finger chipped. I was so bummed cuz I really like my nails. My daughter also gets her pedicures here (I'm just saying, when I was 8-9 years old I didn't get shit) well her pedicure came out very nice until she smudged it. Smh. Going on a Monday afternoon was probably NOT the best idea, but my two friends and I went in, and we had to wait awhile for people to get started in general. Also, the manicure stations are just in a row in the middle of the salon, so don't go here if you want to talk to your friends. My friend and I had gel already, so they had to sand it off, and wound up sanding our skin. They weren't paying attention, or didn't care, so they tried to buff the polish off and wound up buffing off a huge chunk of my skin on one nail. She even noticed it was bleeding. Still sprayed alcohol on my hand a few different times. Also, they didn't put gloves on my hands to do the gel, so I basically UV-rayed my hands. We all agreed we're not going back... read more

I was in serious need of a mani/pedi and my BFF suggested I try out this spot. It's so pretty inside and they have the cutest chairs for kids. Adorable. They had several customers in but never seemed stressed or rushed. The service and care was excellent. Had a wonderful pedicure that felt so good. The manicure was great as well. I really don't like getting mani/pedis at the same time because they do the manicure when you're getting your pedicure and it can be uncomfortable to have to move and stretch your arm across your body. It's not relaxing. But this place, the manicurist moved from one side to the other and she contorted into places so I was comfortable. I also saw that she had a cute candy cane design on her nails and I wanted it too. She was very detailed and made sure it looked perfect. I loved it and my manicure lasted just about 4 weeks. My daughter got a pedicure from Victoria and she too did a good job with the design on my daughter's nails. This place is nicely decorated and clean. Walked in without appointment for pedicure on a late Wednesday afternoon and they seated me straight away.. No need to wait! :) Cleaner, brighter place and It has better air (no strong fumes) than the other nail salon I had been to nearby. I forgot to ask the name of the lady who did my nails (she only works Mon-Thurs). She was great. She was very focused, not rushing and very careful. Love this place, but they dont have as many selection of nail polish colors available compared to the other salon nearby.. I will be back and will probably bring my own nail polish :) read more

It's OK. I booked appointments for my kids at 10am but when we showed up the doors were still locked and the place was closed. Someone finally came in a round 10:15 but seems odd seeing we made the appointment with enough time to plan. The salon itself is pretty run down. The staff were not that friendly and even though no one else was there they seemed rushed. The kitty chairs were pretty dingy and not a glorious experience for little girls. I've seen more 'royal' treatment for kids at many other places. Skip this one. read more

The second time I came here, I was 10 minutes late to my 2:30 appointment with my family member who also had a 2:30 appointment. They took her immediately, but they took me 45 minutes later. I should not have been taken almost 45 minutes past my appointment time. But it's okay, it's understandable, things happen. I got a fill and at any salon I'd be done within an hour, hour and a half tops. The nail technician kept tending to other clients instead of focusing on me and I ended up leaving at 5:30! I should never have to spend 3 hours at a nail salon. And I didn't even get to finish getting what I wanted because I was tired of waiting and had to get home to my kids. 1 star for the nails, and 0 stars for the complete disregard for clientele timing. read more

This was my first time going to Professional Nails Laguna Hills. I did not have an appointment but they were able to get me in rather quickly. Kimberly took care of me and did a great job with the silk nails and the gel nail polish. She gets 4 stars and I would like to go back, however, their billing and charging practices are questionable. My review based on their ATM/Credit card policies. I paid with my ATM/Credit card, and they do charge a fee, except I wasn't told this, I saw it on my receipt. It was a $0.99 fee, but what is troubling is when I checked my bank account three days later, there was another charge not authorized for $2.00. What I want to know is this how they operate? Has anyone else had this happen? Had this establishment just been upfront about the fee in the first place, I wouldn't have an issue. My main concern is that it appears that my card was run a second time unauthorized. This is what gives them low marks. read more

Came here to get a gel manicure before I left on a trip, hoping I'd have a quick and easy manicure that would last my whole trip. Thankfully, it did! And my nails looked beautiful for those two weeks. The manicure stayed perfect as if it had just been done throughout my whole trip. The only downside is how expensive it is ($27) but in my opinion, it was worth it for how long it lasted and kept my nails pretty through my trip. Interesting story about Salon. It was my first time here, I've heard about Tea, but she is not working on Sunday's :( Lady name Susan did my nails !!! :(((( I came home and i was kind of disabled! They were thick and uneven horrible !! After 3 days they start to fell off from the corner :((( i called to speak to the owner, i've had met her the first day, and she sounds very caring and nice. After i explained the issue, she made me feel so welcome, she even thanked me for calling her and letting her know about the bad experience. What a service from the owner! Finally i went today and met Tea :)))))))))))))))) the lovely personality ! She spent 2/5 hours on my nails ! She was honest and professional. I highly recommend only Her. I wanted to give them 1 star with the horrible experience I had, but the owner and Tea have changed my experience to the whole new one :) read more

This salon is one of the cleanest salons I've been to. They have the individual tub liners and their tools come out of what appears to be a sanitized pouch. Cleanliness is a really important aspect to me! Its not the cheapest nail salon but you're paying for the ambiance I suppose. The ladies are really nice and soft spoken here but I find that their massage technique was little lackluster. But my pedicure still looks good 2 weeks later so I can't complain! read more

Ok I want to give this place a better review, but cannot. I've had several pricing issues, which is totally off-putting. I asked how much it would cost to have my daughter (age 4) get a mani/pedi and was told $17, including designs. So needless to say when I brought her in and was charged $22 upon completion, I was caught off guard. Although I could've dismissed this, and thought they did a good job (I didn't even say anything at the time, I'm not very confrontational, especially over $5), the lady trying to charge my credit card kept entering something into their machine, swiping my card, pulling receipts and starting over. I could tell she was having issues, but was hoping that nothing was going through. Lo and behold after all of this, FIVE total charges ranging from $0.22 to $28.00 were charged to my card. Clearly this lady knew, in my opinion, that all of these charges were going to post. As I'm writing this, I'm on the phone with my credit card company to report the fraud. I tried calling the nail salon first and was hung up on after trying to explain the situation (in their defense, they don't speak English well, so they probably didn't understand me?). Anyway, I do like the service, but these other issues greatly outweigh the service. Beware - make sure you are not paying more than you should! read more

Came here earlier today to get a pedicure with my mom. There was only 1 customer other than us when we came in. The owner is friendly and welcomed us. After we chose our colors two ladies escorted us the the massage chairs. The ladies who did both of our nails were super accurate. It came out just how I wanted! The decor of the room is clean and colorful. The price is around $20 per person, which is not bad considering that you get a leg massage with sea salt glow. Will definitely be back soon~ read more

Poor Experience. Salon is very close to my house so I decided to go with my mother and I to get a fill for her and a full set for my hands. They told me the original price for the fill was $19 which ended up being $34 and did a somewhat crappy job. My set of nails were alright. They did not bother to clean up the cuticles and so my nails were not far enough back by the cuticles, so the results looked as if I grew out my nails for about a week. I also asked for a *pointed* stiletto set, which came out oval and uneven. I don't complain to much. They were in a hurry and all, but they did not focus to much about the price they originally, mine being $29 full set, ended of at $42, and my moms fills org. price of $19 to then $34. They seemed as if they were making an excuse for the fills just to charge more. I mean it was a very cute, clean, and professional looking facility, but quality was poor. Not to mention the dirty looks from employees and little comments about how I looked as I was sitting in the middle of the salon. Made me look like I was causing a scene, so of corse, everyone was looking at me. Not interested into coming back. read more
