Recently, I used their moving service to move to a different 2 bed room apartment in the same street and same city. Admin staff who gave me a walkthrough of the services, scheduling and flexibility of payment through different methods was good. I had purchased 16 moving bags from the amazon and had packed all the items to be moved and movers had the responsibility of moving the bigger items such as furniture. After arrival and inspection, they confirmed that it will be 3-4 hours job. They were thorough in doing the job but was very very slow. But, they took 8.5 hours to complete the job. More than twice the the estimation given. They had broken couple of glass items, shoe rack, plastic moving cabinet with wheels. They acknowledged and hence I ignored their mistakes. They are hard working people and I allowed their request to take frequent breaks and I paid them $60 as a tip too. I had family emergency to attend and couldn't pay attention intactness of the items moved into same day. Subsequently I finished inspecting and realized that one dining chair was missing and reported the matter to the admin staff. I was assured that it'll be escalated to the management and they will get back to me in couple day. I gave them 7 days usual time. They didn't do good job in giving the updates and follow up. I followed up with them with persistence and after that every time i call them it would go straight to the voice message. I liked the thoroughness on the job, they are good to be hired but exercise caution 1) in getting the estimation of hours to complete the job ahead and have them commit to the same. 2) Also, make sure to validate all the items are moved completely. an ideal $500-600 moving job costed me $1200+ Don't let them take you for a ride in the name of thoroughness, engage business with them caution. read more

My first experience with this moving company was 5 stars because they were fast and efficient. So, I hired them again to support them and help me pack and move my one bedroom apt. I prepared as best I could by packing up the kitchen in boxes so the movers only had to pack my bedroom, bathroom, closet and office. I also recall filling out their form and checked off the "include packing" box. Apparently, what I had estimated to be a 5-6 hour job ended up being a long 8 hour job. The movers informed me I should have hired 3 guys and not 2 after the fact. I think there was an administrative miscommunication. Kate should have suggested 3 people at the beginning and now I had to pay $950 for an 8 hour one bedroom move 2 blocks. They still did a great job, I just feel overcharged and don't think I'll be hiring them again since it was so expensive and there are other competitive rates out there. read more

The worst company can exist ever, Total disaster. Moving is very stressful don't add more stress to it by hiring these people. They overcharge you, very slow staff. If you can move with another moving company at $1000, after hiring this company you have to pay at least $3000. They move too slow to charge me more per hour. They damaged my items and broke my furniture. Made a mess after themselves, I had to pick up their trashes everywhere. They smoked in my house when I was out for short time. No wearing mask with COVID-19 around your house. Even they haven't paid the furniture and item damages $0.60 per pound. find a better company with better management. read more

I hired Professional Moving Company for a local move in Pasadena. Everything was handled with care and arrived fully in tact. The movers were polite and hard working. The company provided me with great customer service before, during and after the move. They responded to all of my questions very quickly via Yelp and provided a reasonable quote. Strong moving crew! A little more attention to detail would have been appreciated during the setup/move in. I had to move boxes that were placed in the wrong rooms even though they were correctly marked after the movers had departed. Light bulbs were left at the move out location. The 4 man moving crew had three strong movers and one weak link who seemed to slow the process during the second half of the move in the afternoon. All in all a very good moving experience, very professional crew. Nick, the foreman gave 100% effort and communicated well throughout the day. I would definately use them again but would do a better walk through at the end of the day to ensure all the boxes were placed in the correct rooms on the correct floor and the cali king mattress wasn't left up against the wall. This is the third time I had to move stuff this year. I used different companies for all three moves. Professional Moving Company was the BEST out of all! No damages, everything was wrapped, fast, reliable and what pleased me the most they didn't try to overcharge me by kicking time or adding additional cost for bs like the previous company that I used. I am very happy with them! My movers, Elian and Chris were so nice, careful with my belongings, patient and hard working. My move was a long one and they had great attitude! I liked how their office was very nice and understanding. I changed my move date about 4 times and they said yes to everything. If you give them enough notice, they can work with your schedule. I also liked how they had boxes of different sizes, boxes for clothes, plastic wrap, and cloth wraps to protect things that need extra attention. We also had multiple stops as we dropped off some things at a second location and they were so cool about that and there was just a small fee of $25 for an extra stop. I was very worried about hiring a moving company just from hearing about bad experiences, but this first experience was great! I had everything packed and taken apart beforehand and had moved some things over the course of the week on my own, so I really just needed the muscle and the truck for bigger boxes and heavy furniture. Nick and Tom (my movers) hustled like I have never seen before. Very friendly and very hardworking. I was in a second story apt (with narrow stairs) moving to a much smaller single story bungalow and they moved the furniture in and out with ease. Only real "complaints" were they weren't wearing a uniform like other pictures posted on yelp and I think they got lost on the way to pickup so they arrived a little later than their 30 minute window of arrival (Of course this wasn't included in the time I was required to pay for) Overall great experience and would recommend Professional Moving Company to friends and family. read more

I found their 2-hour $150 deal on Groupon, but opted to pay them directly since it was such a dirt-cheap rate compared with all the other moving companies in LA. Even though the move took 4 hours, they offered $85/hr (cash) after the first two hours, so the final bill was still far and away the best deal I could've gotten. The two guys were efficient and quite creative with their shrink-wrapping! There was a bit of a language barrier which caused some consternation about confirming the move date and everything that would be included, but it all worked out in the end. You won't find a better deal for the high quality of service you'll get with these guys! read more

Not sure how these guys have a 5 star rating. They EMAILED me at 1pm the DAY BEFORE my move to tell me they wouldnt be able to start my 9am scheduled move until 3 in the afternoon! (which was a 6 hour job so they would have been moving me in till almost 10pm. um, no). They didnt even CALL to tell me, so thank god I checked my emails and was able to find another company last minute with morning availability (shout out to RocketMovers for doing a killer job!). Of all people you would think people at a moving company would know how stressful moving already is, and cancelling or being 6 hours late is NOT acceptable business practice. Very unprofessional "Professional" Moving Company. Thank u, next ... Update to below response: Not my fault you guys still decide to show up the next day after I said no thank you and cancelled. Maybe you should pick up the phone next time and call the person and not wait until almost 10:30pm the night before while most people asleep to tell them you found another truck. I should also mention here that within 20 minutes of posting this review the owner of the company called me and offered me his apologies and $100 compensation to right their wrongs. Moving sucks, ask anyone. I chose this company for a reason - the pictures of them hoisting a couch thru a window (2 couches thru a balcony in my case)! Three gentlemen showed up, as promised, between 8-10. As with any job, they were on a roll [insert moving sucks here plus stairs]-but they got it done. The foreman of the crew was constantly moving as he was the one with the tools. The other 2 were wrapping (I had done the majority-I recommend this with any move) smaller items- lamps, couches, dresser. The unloading went fine, that part is always quick! A good experience with7 hrs! Not all moves are without issues but these men worked very hard for me, that's what I appreciate the most. read more

I scheduled a moved with PMC a little over a week in advance. The two movers showed up a few minutes early, which was nice! The move went great they hustled and got everything packed up in an hour despite the stairs. The only thing was when I went to pay in cash the workers didn't have any change. So I had to have them follow me to a gas station to break some change to pay and tip them. So my constructive criticism is perhaps give your workers a petty cash box to be able to make change for your customers paying cash. read more

PMC is awesome! Scheduled my move through yelp which was extremely convenient. Alex (the owner) responded immediately and was really thorough with his explanations to my questions. This truly put me at ease as this was my first time hiring movers. And let me tell you, as soon as the guys arrived to move me out I knew I didnt have to worry about a thing. The guys took meticulous care to protect everything prior to removing anything from my apartment. Very impressed. They also took great care in the disassembly of many of my items. At the delivery address the guys once again took great care with all my items and assembled the diassasembeled items so quickly I had no idea they had done so! Very impressed, part two! It was an easy and fast move thanks to their professionalism and talents. My antique chest which had family heirlooms/antiques in it was stolen. I asked if they had it and they said they delivered it and to call when I finished unpacking, which I already had when I made this call. When I confirmed it definitely never made it in during the move, two days passed and they said to make a police report as it was stolen when they were moving it and didn't tell me. I have called to get the names of the workers to include and details on when they noticed it went missing in my report and insurance claim with no reply after my first call. They said they left it outside whilst moving and then it was missing when they finally came clean about it, no reply. I paid for an extra mover which was pretty useless as moving a one bedroom two miles away cost me about $1,000 for three movers and clearly didn't suffice to keep my stuff safe....I asked for a refund and they said they would get back to me. The content was about 6x this. So I am out around $7K. Still waiting for any reply....do not recommend if you value your stuff. read more

I have hired Pros to move my fancy furniture and heard about Professional moving company from two of my co-workers who have used them. We have a beautiful antique applewood dining table, from the Civil War period. Love that it is so old and so beautiful and so meticulously constructed. After suffering through 2 moves, one curved leg had broken :(( and a few metal decorative items had fallen off :(( We are all very worried about ruining the desk by having someone doing a poor job!
