I have in the past been a big fan of this company but lately they have been upsetting. I made a recent service call and the although the technician was good, he and the dispatcher had no record of our prior service calls which made diagnostics very difficult. We even had invoices for prior services they had no record of. It was very disconcerting as we count on using a company regularly to track maintenance and services. Also the tech kept changing the diagnosis and upselling, it was really hard to keep straight what was necessary to get the unit up and working and what would be taken care of at our regular maintenance. Of course my AC would go out on the night of the hottest day of the year! I called 4 different companies on Saturday and the only one who had the decency to call me back was Pros 360. I can't remember if it was David or Nisim who called but I explained the circumstance and asked if there was any way that they could come on the weekend to look at the equipment. They agreed to come out the next day. We set an appointment and I figured that we'd be done. The phone rings and they called back to explain that there would be an "emergency" charge if I wanted to Sunday service. I appreciated the candor and appreciated them shooting me straight. Even though I declined the appointment and moved it to Monday, immediately I felt more confident that I made the right choice. Joe (their tech) showed up at my home early evening Monday. I told him what I thought the problem was--a faulty capacitor. That was exactly the issue and he replaced it on the spot. He showed me the R22 level in one of my units and offered me the option to refill which I decided to do since he was already out and it was one of the two units in our central AC that gets used the most. Here's what I know........of the 4 people I called....1 called me back. They were honest, and handled the problem with ease. After reading a number of other reviews, was I over charged? I don't know. It was about 300 for the capacitor and around 350 for the R22. When your house is like an oven and the heat shows no let up....you are just happy that someone is at least understanding of your situation and accountable. I looked at Yelp reviews on Pros360 as well as in Neighbor2Neighbor so I felt I was in good hands. Joe checked both of my AC units, my thermostats and even my furnace. Gave me some tips about how I might be able to extend the life of my system which I appreciated. 90 minutes after he arrived...problem solved! Thanks Pros360. I had my entire system replaced by Air Pros this month. I just bought a foreclosed house and the heating and air was from the 1960's. I had about eight different people/companies give bids on the job, and Air Pros was by far the most legitimate. I also found them by luck through the mailer coupons in Santa Clarita. I had a new 4 ton, dual stage heat/air unit installed with all new duct work. The price was as good or better than some side jobs I was offered, with a 15 year guarantee. They were able to reshuffle their schedule to come the next day when our AC went out during 100+ heat. That's pretty nice. They were on time, clean, communicated well, fixed the problem, and inspected the entire system. Plenty of time was taken to review a lengthy checklist of things they check for and to answer questions about anything. There were some other maintenance things on our system they pointed out, but no hard sell on doing other work at that visit. I thought the price was merely OK considering the cost of the part they replaced and the time it took. I normally don't call companies out of the coupon ads we get in the mail, but I'm glad I did this time. We had a part of our A/C system break that was not covered by our home warranty insurance. I called Air Pros just to get another bid on the job. They ended up getting the work because they had a better diagnosis of the problem and a better solution for me. Super happy with the work done at my home. We had no insulation in walls and so we added that, plus insulation in attic. This made a world of a difference. We worked it out through the HERO program financing. The Hvac unit was installed properly and left everything clean in 3 days. These guys don't cut corners and they are very professional. I had a terrible experience with this company. I called Pros 360, bc they were the company that installed this unit, (only 5 yrs ago) to take a look at my unit which my tenant thought was not working properly. the technician reported to me that it needed freon and that it was leaking freon. He said to add freon would cost $450 and to find the leak would cost me $1000, (this does not include fixing the leak) and that there is a possibility he would not be able to fix it and I would need a whole new system anyway. I told him not to do anything so I could get a second opinion.I had another company come take a look at it and they told me there was no leak and it did NOT need freon. They fixed the small issue for $125 and now the system works perfectly. I've left 2 messages for the owner of Pros 360 to call me and I've never heard back. read more

I have turned to these guys for a few projects at my house in the last 8 years. They do outstanding work every time. When I first moved in, the house had gas heat. Some rooms were broiling. Some rooms were freezing. Pros 360 did an excellent job updating the duct work and evenly distributing heat throughout the house. Recently we added air conditioning to the house. They did an excellent job walking us through the options and the pricing. I had to have another electrical company come to my house to fix the problems caused by Pros 360 which Pros 360 refused to fix. First of all this electrical company was easily able to correct the wire issue that Pros 360 told me was not possible. They moved my electrical box to the location I wanted easily and took care of all the approvals with the city and DWP. Also, they did not damage my walls like Pros 360 did so I didn't have to pay to have walls repaired this time. This new electrical company notified me that the upgraded electrical done by Pros 360 was poor work. The wires used were cheap and the circuit breaker was cheap and should not be used. I should say this wasn't really Pros 360 who did the poor work because they sub contracted the electrical work to another electrician. Pros 360 has refused to give me that electricians name and information. I have brought this information to Pros 360 and they don't care. read more

I always have a great experience with Pros 360! From the first interactions with their office staff to the helpful *no pressure* suggestions from the technicians, I know I can trust their work. I used to have Pros 360 come out regularly to service my hair salon's aging HVAC but after I needed a new (costly) unit I decided to go with someone else who could replace it for cheaper than what Pros 360 quoted me. Let's just say the less expensive route was a headache and the company I used were not forthcoming in more ways than one. When it came time to get a maintenance service check-up (word to the wise: this is imperative when making such a big investment!) the first person I called was Pros 360 because I knew from experience that a professional, streamlined experience and peace of mind trumped my trying to save a few dollars. And the technicians aren't the only ones who are always polite and professional, when I made the initial appointment with Bri she immediately called me back to suggest that I purchase the membership maintenance package - and I'm so glad that she did because it ends up saving me hundreds of dollars for the year on services I would have paid for anyway. Pros360 is a very professional and customer oriented company. This is in addition to being technical experts in their trade and focused on energy efficiency. This last part is important to our family and we got to work with Pros360 when they changed our HVAC system, changed our ducts, added vents in rooms that were way too hot and oversaw the addition of more insulation in our attic. They analyzed our energy usage and spec'd an AC unit that was smaller than we had. It was less money but we were also able to afford a more efficient unit. They also processed the paperwork for rebates with the utility companies. It's been 2 years since the work and my whole family is so happy with how comfortable our home is. read more

The consumer reports air conditioning buying guide, and many other articles stress the importance of a skilled and certified installer to ensure the right system is installed correctly to ensure strong system efficiency and longevity. I thus looked at contractors on yelp, Angies, and the ACCA org website with a request for formal bids for a split unit replacement from several installers for a 3bdrm single floor condo. It was astonishing to see the price variations quoted for the same install, from $5k to $15k. Only the owner of Pros 360 (who I found on ACCA), Nissim, took me seriously, answered all my questions patiently, agreed to do a proper Residential Load Calculation, thoroughly explained exactly what was needed and why, and reasonably discounted to a fair price during the off season. For those getting quotes a few thousand less compared to quotes by larger, insured, certified, and more professional companies, the old adage of its too good to be true should be kicking in. My neighbor paid for a hack job to install a 3 ton unit in the same size unit, when the load calculations from Pros 360 resulted in a 2 ton. When properly installed, it costs less to run than a 3 ton and netted a 16 seer certification for DWP rebates. My neighbors 3 ton is now breaking down since (counter-intuitively) an inappropriately installed higher ton unit will start/stop too often and break down, especially when the installer didn't replace critical parts (as in their case), or ensure the duct work was laid out correctly. They can't get the small time installer to come back and honor warranties, and either have to sue, or just give up and do it all over again, costing twice what I have paid to do it right the first time! I was a bit nervous with the older reviews on here with lower stars, but this company was easily the best pick compared to other quotes and the level of professionalism and friendliness exhibited. The crew showed up on time, were very polite, took care to protect my floors and walls, and completed the full hvac/duct replacement on time. I highly recommend these guys! read more

I was referred to this company by my agent when buying my condo. I went with them without getting a second quote. It took them 2 hours to give me an estimate at $179/hr. I found out other companies charge closer to $100, and put that cost toward any work done. They gave me a quote for nearly $3000 for a full day's work. They came to do the work and after 7 hours found out they had been working on the wrong AC (that belongs to another condo unit). It was the end of the day, so I asked them to take a look at the correct AC and please email me a quote so that I could ok before rescheduling for them to come out to work on it. They stayed another hour and told me they completed all the work on my AC and that everything was the same price as the original quote. Long story short, I called another highly rated company from yelp to check their work. Turns out it would have cost me a third of the price and only a couple of hours if I had gone with them. There were redundancies in the Pros360's quote and AC work that they claimed to have completed in that last hour that they, not surprisingly, had not done. Please, please just get a second estimate before you decide to go with this company. read more

My heat decided to stop working at my business on the coldest, rainiest day of the year. I called Pros 360 since I had used them at my office and my home and been very happy with their service. They were going to charge and extra $189 to come the next day since it was a Saturday. Seemed bit high "emergency charge". So I decided to schedule an appointment for Monday, but no, the soonest they could come was Wednesday!!! So I called another company who came on Saturday no extra charge. I own a business with customers coming in to work out. 5 days with no heat was just not an option!! They were very knowledgable in what products would work and made very good suggestions. This unit needed to be installed in a very tiny closet with exposed pipes and electrical boxes.This was a very tricky installation and they knew exactly how to handle it. They even built a platform that was just perfect. They were competitive in their pricing and we chose them because of their product knowledge and professionalism. We also checked with the Better Business Bureau. The air conditioner was a special order. It came in when they said it would and the job was completed in the time frame they stated earlier. They made sure that we knew how to operate the unit before they left. We are very pleased and will definitely use them for other air conditioning replacements. We actually did use them to replace another air conditioning unit on the roof of an apartment complex. We are glad that we chose this company to do this project. read more

Back in February of 2011, during the same weekend, my heater finally broke down along with my water heater. The previous summer my air conditioner had broken down and I had a friend "patch" it up. My system was 25 years old and I knew it was time to change it. Air Pros was the first company I called for an estimate. The sales rep spent almost two hours at my house educating me on the essentials, which helped me continue my research online and understand future estimates from other companies. He provided me with a professional, written estimate. I had five other companies come out and price the job. In presentation and professionalism, no one else matched. Even though Air Pros was a bit pricier than the others, my instinct told me to give the job to them; I am so glad I did! Their installation crew was amazing. Everyone spoke English, was polite, informed, CERTIFIED and professional. They protected my house from debris, wore protective booties, and vacuumed everyday before leaving. In addition, their customer service was the best I have seen in our modern world of deteriorating customer service. Even when I was being unreasonable (what? No! That must have been a typo ) they never steered from their professionalism. I can probably write a few pages of praise, but I will keep it short. I urge you to not be a penny pincher, Air Pros makes up the small difference in price (if there is any) in their professionalism, quality product, installation, and warranty. OK where do I even start. This company is a total scam! This salesman with a balding shaved head came out to give me a quote. I specifically told the representative on the phone that I needed new ducting and wanted to take advantage of the So cal gas co rebate program for energy upgrades (this company is listed on the gas cos website as approved for energy upgrades) to the home and that I was not in need of a new AC/heat system, they told me that is what they do, and that the ducting would not be a problem. The guy shows up and sees my big house (6200sqft) and immediately goes into money/scam mode. I show him my first of 3 central heat/ac systems-which are all working PERFECTLY and I have 10 years of experience building and own 6 HOUSES in the san fernando valley, and this guy immediately starts trying to work me over thinking that Im some uneducated rich kid (I was in my swimtrunks I just turned 33 yesterday so I look young, way to young to own frank sinatras house in woodland hills), he tells me my vent pipe is not designed for the heater and is not up to code AND a fire hazard, I pulled it out took a look at it and the label was still on the pipe!!! "GAS FURNACE VENT PIPE_UL LISTED" it says. I show it to the guy and he starts mumbling in pharcy or some other language, trying to think of what to say, then he says "Oh this is not for LA county, blah blah blah"....whatever! this was a permitted install by another licensed guy I use, and yes its been a while but even if its not to code now, its grandfathered in, but the vent pipe was brand new from home depot! Then I start showing him the ducts for that system, which are under the crawlspace, then he says "I need to know if all you want to pay for is the ducts because I see your entire system needs to be repositioned" He says my intake needs to be moved to another location to improve the circulation and starts acting like if m not willing to commit to more work then the appointment was not worth his time! I said Im sorry man but Im not going to be spending $20k with you, I was very clear on the phone with your company that I needed ducts only. He says I cant get the rebate or improve my energy efficiency by only replacing the ducts. (my ducts are broken in the attic and about 50% of the heat and cool that blows through them doesnt make it to the house, so clearly if the ducts are functioning properly that will drastically increase my energy efficiency. The guy tells me thats not true! Is this guy a complete idiot? I have a masters degree in business and any 3rd grade math student could figure out that a leaking duct is losing energy, whether its gas heat or electric power. So bottom line the guy was suggesting the most expensive and unneccessary repairs, avoiding the issue he was here for-just because he didnt like the fact that he wasnt going to make a killing on the job, these salespeople are suppose to educate you, and help you get your desired result without trying to SCREW YOU!
