The service was fast and the chicken is alright. The size of the chicken however is so ridiculously small. I'm a petite girl and it's as big as my pinky finger is. The size is very underwhelming, but the flavor is even more underwhelming. I got buffalo chicken and it's just oily chicken with no flavor. The only good part about this place is it's open late after everything else closes. These had to be the worst buffalo wings I've ever had. They were tiny, old, and dry. You shouldn't have to chew chicken like it's a tough steak. I couldn't believe they even sold this mess to me. I wanted to complain and request a refund but they were closed by the time I got to my room and tried to eat them. Hardly any sauce on the chicken, this was the biggest waste of money. In town to visit my son. Ok, maybe I caught them on an off night but this place was not very good at all. I was expecting much more after reading the reviews of fellow elites. So, we ordered 48 wings. The first set of alarm bells went off when we saw that all 48 wings fit across 2 standard to go containers. You may now be asking, "how can 24 wings fit in 1 standard to go container?" The answer - when the wings are really small. You know how you order wings from a lot of places and there is that 1 wing that is much smaller than the rest and you chuckle and say to yourself, does that wing count towards my dozen? Well, all of their wings were that size. So now, we taste. We got 4 different flavors. Hot, Cajun, Jalapeño and Cajun BBQ. Nothing really stood out. Average at best. After a recent trip to Auburn, I am taking a review walk down memory lane. My next stop is Willie's. When I knew this place, it was Willie's Wings and Stuff. If memory serves me correctly, their menu was much smaller. It was one of the few places where you could get late night delivery. I believe I only went to the actual location just once. And it is definitely not a place that you would eat in. I think I have only had four things on the menu. First and foremost - The western sub. Maybe in the daytime hours, it wouldn't have been as good. And perhaps in my older years it wouldn't either. But when that sub got to your door late night, nothing could have tasted better. The wings and the mozz sticks are really good too. But no matter what you got, you had to get the cheese tots on the side. I may never eat Willie's again (but who know). But no matter the name, Willie's Wings will always have a special place in my heart. read more

Willies has the best wings in Auburn. I have been ordering their lemon pepper wings since moving to Auburn in 2011. The lemon pepper is so good I have never tried their other flavors. In my opinion Willies is by far the best late night and delivery food choice in town. The only downside is their wings are smaller than average so be sure and order plenty! Decent wings. Ordered 12 pc honey bbq and 9 piece tenders dipped in honey mustard with tots. The wings were good, average, but good. Kinda small, but covered in sauce. Perfect spot if you want some wings late at night. The tenders were less than. Could've done without them honestly. Basically cheap frozen tenders heated up in the oven. I don't frequent Auburn so I depended on reviews for so good wings. Proud Willies Wings are good they aren't very big so if you are hungry order more. I asked about the size of the wings when deciding how many I should get and I was told they were average they aren't at least not to me. They we season good and they were hit because Willies is definitely cook to order. I appreciate the food being cooked after I order to ensure it's hot you just can't go there hungry hungry because it's going to take a while . They apparently have so many call in orders so if you walk-in and order you could wait over 30 minutes so keep that in mind. We didn't know this was really a drive home locations so we didn't call in we expected to eat in. Willies isn't an it in place with barely enough room to stand and wait for your order just call it in. After getting the food definitely check your order because we returned to the hotel meeting one of the orders. I had to call and tell them Ms the manager hit me with the are you sure. Of course I am sure I didn't get the food I paid for sir almost as if he thought k was scamming. He agreed to have some more chicken dropped for me and we went back and picked it up all was well. Excellent wings with big flavors. Even though they are small they make up for that in taste. So when you order I would keep their size in mind if you are hungry. Willies doesn't open till 5pm and doesn't have much space to seat people at the restaurant itself ( if it has any seating at all) but that makes it the perfect place to grab wings after work to take home. They also deliver which is my favorite way to get them. The appetizer of fried mushrooms I got was a bit small but other than that everything was so tasty. I love mixing lemon pepper and cajun ranch -- their hot is delicious and their lemon pepper is always crispy and buttery. I think my favorite thing is that the wings are very petite, tender, and perfectly cooked. I know that people are use to big wings but I am telling you these make up for it in texture and flavor! I noticed a heavy set white female wearing a blue shirt sitting behind a cash register sneeze into her hands. No gloves or masks. As I walked to the carry out window, I noticed row 2 other white females conversation without a mask and one came towards me rubbing her nose then slid her mask over her face. Willie should not be proud. Unless you're getting wings, it's pretty terrible. The salad with chicken is comparable to a jimmy johns sandwich leftover with fried chicken and stale dressing. Imagine all the shredded lettuce droppings from a JJ Gargantuan piled on a plate and throw some frozen fried chicken on top of it. I had a chicken sandwich which we won't even go into detail about. Do yourself a favor and never order that. Also, I had bacon and cheese on my fries, apparently. I would have never known. If you sprinkle a bit of packaged bacon and a dash of microwaved cheese on some ass fries then that's about what you get. Pro tip: smother it in the cheap ranch salad dressing they give you and it's partially edible. Unless you are inebriated and are craving tiny wings, never order off the actual menu.
