My previous experiences here were pretty good in the past but tonight they got my order WRONG! I had ordered 2 of their old fashioned burgers with American cheese and "everything on it." It came out plain as can be looking more like greasy dog food. When I called and spoke to the manager Liza she said she couldn't do anything about it but could only offer me free French Fries with my next order. She said they're not in the business of giving out "free food!" It wasn't just what she said but her nasty, condescending words and her tone with me that escalated my frustration with how they treat customers when they bring up a grievance. I will also report this to corporate. How rude!!

Such a great smell when you walk in!! The staff was very nice helpful and friendly.. we didn't know how it runs so sweet lady behind counter showed us how to fill out an individual order form and explained we pay at end! Lots of choices in burgers and hot fogs and other yummy stuff! We went to zoo just down street today and got super hungry there! This was a perfect location! I got pt burger and fries came out super hot and had great sprinkle of flavoring on them! The burger was right off grill and good sized! Delish!! Good to last bite!.. oh and if you want fresh air while you eat there's a nice seating outside too

TOTAL: $14.34 - Olde Fashioned Burger, plain, with fries & a lemonade ‍SERVICE: Excellent. Right when I walked in the door, the person taking orders asked me what I'd have to drink & started getting it ready while I looked over the menu. Food was quick and hot, but not quick enough that you'd doubt it was made fresh. FOOD: The burger was solid, not the best I've ever had but for what's included, great for the price. Fries with house-made lemon pepper were so good & the lemonade was the best I've ever had! TRAVEL: ~8 mins. You never know how fries will travel, but I'm pleased to report that these still had some crispy crunch after a short drive! The best part of P.T.'s is that it feels like Wilmington, with those good-people, beach-afternoon vibes! ‍

Soilid no frills Burger restaurant, that is way better than fast food options. UNCW is our preferred location, but when you live in CB who wants to fight more traffic once you go OTB? This location in the HT shopping center is a good trade off to having to go farther inland. But the product is not the same, please don't over cook the burgers and keep the buns fresh. Also local tip: order on the paper slips at the door and then pay/cash on your way out - reminder to hang on to the forms.

The food was fresh and made to order. I've had many items from the menu and everything I have had has been amazing. The turkey sandwich, chicken sandwich, veggie burger, salad & burger have all been great. However the lemonade isn't so fresh they squeeze a few lemons and mix it with this sugar water base that just sits in this giant pitcher, other than that I'd highly recommend

Great burger, great fries and ok service...it's basically Five Guys but not as "franchisee" if that makes sense. I was happily surprised that you can ask for the temp of your burger so ordered Med Rare (can't do that at 5 guys) but it came out well done anyway. Choice of 4 Oz party or 8 Oz party so we tried both...well seasoned patties and you can taste the charbroiled flavor as opposed to flat top burgers. 8 Oz is the way to go more juicy and Han the 4 Oz and not too much by any means. Fries are very 5 guys as well and that's never a bad thing. Burgers all come with fries which is nice and plenty of them! The pitchers of beer for 10$ put me over the top; better than 5 guys on my sheet. Great burgers and fries at a good price!

Great burgers and even better fries! I love that the fries are homemade and that the burgers are made to order. The staff is very friendly and always make sure your drink is topped off. I struggle with if they are a good deal or not but I will eat there again soon and so should you!

The flavor was great the caramelized onions with the Oklahoma sauce was a great pairing. The burger itself was juicy and had a good flavor. One of the better burgers I've had honestly and you have a ton of toppings to choose from. My one bite score came out to a whopping 8.2/10 which is the 4th highest rated burger on my scale ever. The sweet potato wedges were amazing the cinnamon is the way to go! I was kind of disappointed with the sizing I ordered a large to split between the two of us and it wasn't enough. The 12 oz shake was amazing the only thing with that was it took forever. I was done with my food by the time the shake was done. It did look like they only have one shake machine so that could be why it took so long but the fact the I was done with my food before even seeing the shake was a bit crazy. The price of it all was a bit steep in the 40 some dollar range, but it was great. Also kinda in a random place but the vibes were great in there and the food was good I would say it is definitely worth the drive.

Just a hands down really good burger with them being 75% chuck and 25% bring brisket & short rib certified angus beef. You have options for a single, double, or triple with plennnnnnnnty of options to top them with. The fries, were a bit salty for my liking, but obviously that can be shook off and better than having none at all; they also offer mesquite bbq as a seasoning instead of just salt. Located at the end of a strip mall, with plenty of parking. Come down and check this place out for yourself. The staff were awsome, kind, and polite with energetic spirits, the restaraunt was clean, and most importantly....so was the bathroom.

We were next and got the last table for two. The place was completely full. After reading the menu, the daily special was 1/2 price burgers. They also gave first responders 20% off on Mondays. They have specials every night, so it is worth it to check that out before coming in. We started with a basket of hush puppies and corn muffins with yummy molasses butter. If you get in between 3:30 and 5pm, appetizers are 1/2 price Monday through Friday. I can see why this place is so busy! So I decided on a burger, who can pass up half price day? And we also got the knuckle sandwich, which was 20% off for first responders, so my hubs got that. Off to a good start. Also tried fresh squeezed lemonade, really delicious and fair priced. The burger and the sandwich were huge, we both had to take half to go. You get one side for $1.50, but added sides are $4 each. Still ok since the prices are good. There were charges for the added bacon and cheese on my burger but still at half price, it is a great deal. The restaurant is very rustic, pub atmosphere and very relaxed. The bar was completely full, so that must be the highlight of the restaurant. Looked lively and busy. Service is very good, the servers come back to check on you often. Chloe was very sweet and attentive. The only disappointment was dessert. We chose the cake of the day. It was chocolate Bundt cake with cinnamon frosting. To be completely honest, it tasted like boxed cake mix and canned frosting. It was very small, so I knew it was probably cake mix. There was nothing special about this; it was also pretty dry. Even if they purchased their desserts from a local bakery, it would have been better than what we got. I won't say avoid all their desserts, but I wanted to point out the cake specifically. So overall: The prices were excellent, food and service is really great, and the pub atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The plus was that on a busy night, we didn't wait for a table. They do not do reservations so prepare to wait, or just go earlier. I would definitely come back here, and enjoy some more of the large menu. 5 stars

I ended up coming here twice in two days--once to try the NY Chopped Cheese and then again to try…read morethe Philly Cheesesteak. Let's start with the chopped cheese. As a New Yorker, I was excited to see it on the menu. And let me say this first... the sandwich was delicious. I cleaned that thing up and didn't leave a single crumb behind. The flavor was on point. Here's the only issue: it wasn't really a chopped cheese. Instead of using chopped ground beef like you'd find at a New York bodega, it was made with sliced steak. I asked the owner about it, and he explained that they used to make it the traditional way, but they switched because the ground beef would dry out by the time customers got it home or had it delivered. Using steak keeps it much juicier. I told him, "Then it's not really a chopped cheese anymore... it's basically a Philly cheesesteak." He laughed and said, "No, our Philly cheesesteak uses different meat." That caught my attention, so I said, "Hold up... you have an actual Philly cheesesteak too?" He said yes. So naturally, I came back the next day to try it. After trying both, I can honestly say I liked the "chopped cheese" much more. The Philly cheesesteak was made with Steak-umm-style beef, and unfortunately it was a little dry. It also could've used a lot more cheese (or cheese sauce) to bring everything together. I didn't complain because everyone has their own way of making things, and I respect that. But here's my opinion: if they simply renamed that "chopped cheese" sandwich to their Philly cheesesteak, it would be one of the best cheesesteaks around. In fact--and this is just my opinion--I think it would give J. Michael's Philly Deli some serious competition. At the end of the day, that's just one New Yorker's opinion. Go try it for yourself and let me know what you think!
