I been on the hunt for a five guys experience in the CB area and I found it, great thick burgers with fresh ingredients and awesome fries. Very similar to "Fosters Grille" which was in competition in NOVA for burger supremacy. Where you get a menu paper pad and circle your toppings / sides / drinks. Very efficient and super easy to make a custom meal. Staff was very friendly and food was prepared in a timely fashion. This is going to be my go to spot when I have a burger craving and I plan on exploring more menu items in 2014. If you are looking for a nice fresh juicy burger and great homemade fries then this is the spot. read more

Sadly can't comment on the food, as my order never appeared. Heard the food was good, so placed order and PAID for meal. But after waiting about 25-30 minutes asked the cashier who placed my order where was my food. She couldn't find my ticket at first but after digging through a slew of completed orders was told that they could put it through now and the wait wouldn't be as long. Not working for me. Cashier had a little bit of an attitude when I asked for my money back. Really, who waits an hour for a burger. No thank you. I wish you better luck read more

The best burger and fries ever. This is a local business to Wilmington only. It has a couple location through out town. The burgers are fresh and grilled to perfection. The fries are yummy and covered with the best seasoning ever (lemon pepper and salt and garlic maybe). Great price and service. read more

Grabbed a bite to eat on a Tuesday night, found a few tables already seated but found ample spaces to choose from. Orders are placed individually on a scratch pad where each guest chooses the details of their sandwich from start to finish. You can choose a cooking temp if you like pink in your burger. The fries are awesome, they taste very fresh, are cooked to order and are amazing dipped in the honey mustard sauce they have here. The staff was super friendly, and even though you order at the counter and sit down, they move through the tables checking that everyone has a full beverage and that no one is in need of any additional condiments. My go to place for a great burger in Wilmington. Plenty of choices to put on your burger to customize to your taste. The service is great-fast and friendly. The fries, OMG the fries are to die for. I'm not sure what the seasoning is that they put on them but it must be crack dust because it is sooooo addictive and the amount of fries you get with your order is rediculous; the fresh lemonade is outstanding. Pluses: Tasty black bean burger and great fries. Minuses: Woman at counter was not friendly at all. I didn't see anybody working there with a smile. Must have been a bad day for everybody. Also, after ordering an iced tea for my wife I asked for water. She gave it to me and I walked to the table assuming there was no charge. The counter woman walked up to our table and just said coldly "The water is 68 cents." I've never been charged for water before unless there was a water shortage. Pretty cheap of them to charge for water. Overall, very good food. I just hope you find nicer people when you go there. read more

I love the veggie burger. I'm not a hippie, I just have a hard time with red meat. Anyhow, the food is always good and the fries are freshly made. I don't drink lemonade because of all the sugar and everybody in my family has diabetes but me. But I've tasted it and it is awesome. This place is a great find! We went there for dinner while on vacation and were blown away! The burgers are cooked to your liking, not just well done. The french fries are amazing! The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The service is great. Whether dining inside or outside the restaurant is very clean. In fact while we were there sitting outside we saw the tables and chairs being cleaned up on two separate occasions. Food was good as usual. But noticed something kind gross. When we were waiting to pay for our food, we watched the same girl who was cutting up cooked chicken to put on a salad - come and take a credit card from someone to pay for their food and then proceed to check more people out. We left before we saw if she washed her hands or not after she checked people out... but It didn't seem like that was something she was going to do- but who knows. I really hope that this is not something they do everyday. Touching cooked food and then taking a gross credit card from someone and not wash your hands.. I hope not. read more

I have always loved Pt's, I've been getting burgers from here since I moved to Wilmington 5 years ago. Within the past two years I've been expanding to the rest of their menu and have tried the chicken tenders, grilled chicken sandwich, salads and the BLT. Probably wouldn't get the BLT very often but I absolutely love their burgers & grilled chicken sandwiches. Will probably try everything on their menu once it's all said & done. Their fries are always great & it's nice to enjoy a beer here, the staff is always friendly. Definitely a staple of Wilmington, a must try if you are in the area. I have been to four locations and have never been disappointed. It is a very laid back establishment, lots of young people working but I've had very few errors in my order and when one did arise (I wasn't given the extra fries I ordered) they fixed it and didn't charge me which wasn't even necessary but was nice. read more

Was headed out of town after our visits and wanted to grab burgers to go before we left. We have both visited a couple other locations around town when we lived in Wilmington and longed to relive our memories. We weren't disappointed. Love the option of a side salad instead of fries. They have delicious fries but paired with the giant burger after a week of vacation eating, I needed something lighter. This place is great! The service is always outstanding and the food is always on point! I love the fact that the cooks know how to prepare a perfect medium rare burger, and the fries, don't even get me started on the fries! They're so addicting!
