This company cannot be trusted. They will increase your rent by 29% at a time and will not reward customer loyalty. 29% increase is egregious price gouging! Public Storage's idea of customer retainment is the opposite of just all businesses in existence! They will keep increasing your rent despite the fact that it will reach a point where they charge more than double of what any of their competitors charge. Now they want to charge me $525 for a 10x10 unit when I can go get a 10x20 unit from several of their competitors for half of the price. And I can get a 10x10 elsewhere for less than $190 if I wanted to get another 10x10 unit. If you already rent from them, make sure to not use automatic payments because they are relying on customers that don't pay attention. This is not ok and it most definitely IS price gouging! I've paid them around $30,000 so far since I've been a customer and they don't seem to value the approx $5,000 that I've paid them every year! Loyal customers are of no value to Public Storage! You can save thousands of dollars a year by going to one of their competitors and the fact of the matter is that Public Storage does not offer anything that their competitors don't. In fact, some of their competitors do more than just charge half the price of Public Storage. Some of these same half priced units are even climate controlled, when Public Storage isn't climate controlled at their price gouging prices. Climate controlled 10x10 units at their competitors for less than $200! Every single competitor in the area costs less than half of what Public Storage costs! Be wise with your money! There are plenty of options and, unfortunately , Public Storage, does not seem to value loyal customers! You will find more value elsewhere! I guarantee it! read more

Be careful. This is my experience having TWO storage units at this facility. When I was late paying my rent, they broke lock and "took inventory." This happened three times. The fourth time I was late, they put my unit up for auction. However, whoever "bought" it took out the rare collectible toys and dolls. They left paperwork and furniture. I thought once you bought a unit, you had to vacate the entire thing. A worker let us come pick up our things, but we were told the other on-site worker had to "go take some things offsite." Seriously? We later found the missing stuff on eBay. A worker posted it. Their auction process is a scam. They know what's in those units from their "inventory" checks. SCAM! read more

I chose to vacate my last remaining storage unit when they raised my rates, AGAIN, demanding $770/month for a 10x15 unit. The current advertised rate is $232/month. I rented a larger storage unit at a different facility for less money. I advised Public Storage I was moving out. Staff at the location saw me moving out. I have receipts from the new facility and the moving company confirming I moved out. Not being an idiot, I turned off the AutoPay. I didn't trust Public Storage to NOT try to steal money from my account for a storage unit they knew I no longer occupied. Three guess as to what they did. That's right. They tried to take money from my account, they were thwarted because the AutoPay was no longer active. I'm now receiving threatening phone calls and emails, demanding I pay them rent for a unit they know I no longer occupy. I went to the storage facility, showed them my lock (which they advised me to take with me when I moved out, further proof they knew I was moving out). They insisted there is a lock on my old unit, therefore I still occupy it and have to pay. Either they're lying about a lock being on the unit, they placed a lock on an empty unit, or they already rented the unit to someone else and are fraudulently trying to get paid twice for the same unit. I was told someone from corporate would call me by end of business Friday to get this resolved. NO ONE CALLED. I just checked my old account on the Public Storage website. THEY ARE STILL DEMANDING MONEY FROM ME!!! MONEY THEY KNOW I DO NOT OWE!!!! I DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE WRITTEN APOLOGY WITH A WRITTEN CONFIRMATION THAT I HAVE A ZERO BALANCE, WITH A WRITTEN GUARANTEE YOU WILL STOP HARASSING ME!!! IF YOU FAIL TO DO SO, IF YOU FOLLOW THROUGH ON YOUR THREAT TO DAMAGE MY CREDIT RATING FOR A DEBT YOU KNOW I DO NOT OWE, I WILL SUE!!!! DO NOT RENT from this place. We reserved for 8/1/2021 and submitted all of our info and payment. Once we got there the access code provided via text did not work. There was one employee ONLY inside that was busy over the phone calls so we had to wait. Her and I tried several times to input the access code but did not work. Time past, we were given a new code that also didn't work initially then worked. Second, we were on the top floor of the unit so an elevator would have had to be used. The elevator (ONLY) was down and labeled as down from 8/2/21 - 8/11/21 (There was a sign on the elevator button provided by "Public Storage Management"). I understand things break but a friendly text message or notice would've been helpful, especially for people that are moving and have tons of things to store. So we had to haul each bag and box upstairs in one of the furthest units in the building using the stairs. Third, the provided carts were limited and broken. Fourth, once we were able to get into our unit the light inside was out. I have photos and videos on my phone and will contact the appropriate people who will do something about this because the front desk wasn't even a permanent worker and had no idea how to help except to take my info down. The manager or a higher up person still hasn't reached out to me. Moving is stressful enough and to deal with this when everything was done on our part just isn't fair and BAD for business. Lastly, after we hauled all of our stuff upstairs we went back to the front desk at 1:58pm only to find a "Will Be Back" sign that was timed at 5:30pm. Take your business elsewhere because it doesn't look like this facility really care about its customers or their business. read more

Very disappointed! I spent time and money on a moving van to shift things from a storage unit farther away just to have more convenient access to items I need for work and home. After only a few months at this location, the management decided to jack up my rent by $76 per month. My little 6'x17' space went from $211 to $286 in fewer than five months. Now, I have to spend more money on a van to shift everything back to the old unit 45 minutes away. I was prepared to rent for at least a year at this location. What a waste of time and money. Unbelievable. I've never had a storage unit raise prices within the first year and usually only on an annual basis, which is expected. I've also never had one jack it up that high. On top of that, the nice people at this location quit. I just learned that staff turn-around is high. They clearly just care about getting the highest market rate and not about retaining long-term customers or good staff. I'll never do business with Public Storage again. read more

Mixed feelings about this place. Positives: Infrastructure was clean, gates, keypads, elevators, and gates always worked. All my interactions with staff were professional. Automatic payment system always worked. Negative: Price increases. After I started renting a space, the price of the unit increased about 25% annually. After renting a unit for 3.5 years, my price increased to about $120 more per month than the price advertised for the exact same unit at the same location. Most businesses want to keep their long-term customers--here, you are penalized. After 3.5 years, I moved to a much less expensive option. Bottom-line: For short-term storage of a few months, this is a good place. If you are looking for longer term storage, there are better places. read more

For most of us, doing business somewhere with a company who requires you to buy something you can never use anywhere else, FIRST, before you even start, would be a warning flag . . . silly me. These guys make you buy one of their special locks, which, fortunately, for me, I got to keep the lock forever. I can't use it anywhere, but I still have it. Nice. I would also caution anyone considering using these folks, (nice folks, mostly), need consider the hours they are open and some of the policies. Open late, close early. Do it yourself attitude, etc. When I got notice that the rent for the closet sized spot in the back of the furthest most building was going up I figured it was time to move on. Bad news was the notice came the day before the auto pay moved my money for the month to the PS folks. Cleared out anyhow, went back Monday and guess what? No refund for the empty storage spot. Not even 29/31 or the payment. Weak. Those of you considering doing business here need to be smarter than me and think hard about when you may or may not move on. Also, if you use an auto pay option, USE UP YOUR DAYS. Don't give away free rent payments to the PUBLIC STORAGE people for nothing in return. You'll only feel as hoodwinked as you do when they sell you that stupid lock. read more

I starting renting my 5 x 10 for $$17 and now I'm paying $222. It's not a surprise that I can't make payments on time since it's double but I went to get some belongings today and was locked out since I haven't paid this months rent on time (not behind previous months.) I went to see the employee in the office and when I asked her why I was locked out right away with a sassy tone "well it's because you haven't paid." I asked her since when if I was always able to get in even if I was late in the month. And she turned the computer and with a sassier tone she said look it's always been like this. I understand, but your reps don't have to be aggressive or rude when we are trying to keep our business with you. I will end my business with Public Storage at the end of month. This facility is very safe and clean. You need a passcode to get in the front gate and to use the elevator. I'm super happy storing my stuff here. My only recommendation is to bring your own dollies. They only have two on site for the entire facility and you can only check out one at a time. read more

Few things helpers need to know: The price does not include insurance $11-15 a month. Their package materials are very expensive! I wish I would have buy it in a different place. I don't how to start this, but i am very thankful for two young ladies Hope and Kelsie! They helped me get my stuff that i left behind *ahem from the trash.. yes i know.. but if it it wasn't for them i wouldn't have my bed set complete! Only because I've rushed to get my stuff and didn't make enough time to fit my drawers.. so YES totally my fault with my last minute trips..So you know after curfew hours you have no access and i could go back to drop of my stuff in storage... so i had no other choice to risk it by leaving it outside of the gate. Next time for better communication they are help you accomodate so your stuff does not get left outside or thrown away! Just tell them and ask if any of the staff are around. Hope!! I can't forget! Terrible place. Recently realized a lot of my stuff was stolen from here.. while my unit was LOCKED and I came back to said unit which was still locked. So it had to be an inside job. Tv, kitchen electronics, DVD player, PlayStation, Wii, watches, etc all gone. I had my stuff here for a few years and didn't realize what I was missing after fully unpacking... do NOT trust this place. read more

Richard is awesome at the front desk. He has a little humor and a lot of patience. It seems as though he's been there for a while, so he knows the ropes and is a great advisor of self storage space. The facility is clean. There are restrooms on the property and it is secured. There are climate controlled rooms and lighting for safety plus convenience. The facility hours are very limited and require anyone who works to take time off to get at your stuff. Their hours are much more limited than their competitors The staff are not empowered to make any type of decision, or do not want to, and do not understand what customer service is about. My interactions with them have led me to believe that they are very unhappy and are trying to get some power or control any way they can which in my case means they are absolutely miserable to deal with. I read the reviews on this place before becoming a customer , to see the quality of service that I was going to receive/the experience .I soon saw the the reviews had more to than what they where . The people who complain about the issues they have had with with this place , a majority of the time would be complaining after them not abiding with the policies or already having previous problems with their account . As long as you follow their policies you will have zero issues with public storage. Hope is helpful she'll introduce you to many plans , different budgets she'll help you find what's needed . The staff here has always been helpful, there is plenty of parking, storage is definitely secure, and some building even have air conditioning to keep sensitive items safe. What I absolutely loathe about being a customer here is the fact that there is practically no access at all to my stuff. Hours are now 0930-1800. Anybody that works a normal job will have to take a day off of work to even come here, which is unacceptable. When we signed up a couple of years ago, hours were 0600-2100 which was awesome because we could always get in and out. Now it's impossibly ridiculous and I don't know how they can possibly justify the frequent rent increases when the hours keep getting shorter. read more

I selected a pretty good size unit in anticipation of remodeling but, with the pandemic quarantine, I looks like it's not going to happen this year. As a result, I decided to downgrade to a smaller unit. Anthony and Valerie worked with me to find just what I needed in the same building on the same floor.
