Don't be fooled by the initial rental price. The algorithm jacks up your rent as soon as you have all your stuff moved in. Its a crazy business model, because by jacking up your rent they encourage you to move out, after which they will have to lower their rent for a new renter. Calling them to point this out done no good. Nor does moving units to try and benefit from a new lower introductory rate. $525/mo for a 10X20 (btw its not really 10x20) is nuts. The only good news is that by increasing your rent so much they encourage you to get rid of stuff and come up with your own storage solutions. Bye bye Public Storage. They Enjoy Missed Payments Too. The Manager lives on the property and they are waiting and watching for you to slip up. Their contracts are illegal and they conduct fake auctions which are inside jobs. They also bill their customers for the full month although they will auction off in the middle of the month that they claim balances owed. They also bill for the upcoming month too. They stole all of my property right in front of me. The auction was rigged and they fake sold my unit for half of what they billed me even after I offered to sign a new contract just to give me a few more days among other ideas and options to stop the illegal auction. The District Manager refused to take any of my offers after I gave them my business and money for 1 year with timely payments. They continued to revise contracts that I never signed and raised the rent after 6 months and my unit had a hole in the ceiling which caused flooding in my unit and damaged property. Right after that occurred they immediately raised the rent in my unit because I filed a claim with their insurance company like I'm supposed to. They short sold my Storage unit for $800 and then had the audacity to send be a bill for the short sell of my unit $500 then threatened to send the bill to collections as if I did not want to pay my bill. I had at least 100K + personal property in my unit. I ended up obtaining all of the money or what they false billed me the same evening that would have covered the illegal billing they claimed I owed. They allowed strangers to me, people I do not know to have access to my identity, rummage through confidential privileged information, identity theft, data breach. They were allowed to keep 1 of my laptops and 2 Apple iPhones with thousands of photos and confidential information.l contained on my hard drives. Someone returned some of my paperwork in trash bags like I'm trash...I had all of my paperwork organized and in storage binds. Any other storage company will work with you and give more time if needed it is legal to do so. Why would that Public Storage fake auction my unit for half of what they billed me knowing the contents of my unit were far more superior and valuable? I think we all know the answer to that question I had a Christian Aguilar Bag worth $800 in my unit and this was just the value of 1 item among thousands of items and confidential items. Daniel the public storage employee was extremely helpful and kind to help us out of a bind. He went above and beyond duty. We are very grateful to him and would like to point out to the owner of this Public Storage that they are very lucky to have someone of his caliber on board working for them. We brought a truck load of moved furniture to store at about 5 pm. We worked very hard to unload and move everything to the second floor unit. We were unaware of the 6 pm closure of the facility. No one came by to tell us that they would be closing, While we had the last load entirely in the elevator, we suddenly could not get the elevator to work. It had been shut off. Who runs a business like this? Put in a speaker system to advise clients that facility will be closing and that elevators will not work or drive through and advise people with cars parked that you will be closing. None of that happened. There we sat in the dark not knowing what to do. We had to return the moving truck and would have had to leave our furniture in the unattended elevator until the following day. Our upstairs storage unit was also still open as we had not finished filling it and there was no one to get back up to close the unit. It was only be sheer luck that we found Daniel in the dark and in his car about to leave. He helped us finish the job and was very patient and kind. I am an active public storage user for business needs, I have to say by far public storage makes storage needs easy. They always have deals, move in specials. Who doesn't love to save??? This particular location is all drive up. The best way to truly go, when your constantly in and out. The Manager at the location is also very friendly; Andres , ask for him should you need anything. I will have to say that it is a bit outdated with the locks and access gate pads, but maybe their getting around to that. Big deals to me is that this location is open till 9 to enter the gate, giving you late access where other close at 6. Check this location out if in the area. read more

I was really just there for supplies, I am moving from L.A. to the valley and i noticed this location nearby so i decided i would check it out. I started with this facility before Public Storage bought it. They refuse to honor the terms of my contract regarding late fees. They constantly increase the costs, charge late fees that are about 3 times what my contract allows if I am a day late, and have imposed additional fees based on the unlawful fees. I am about to file a lawsuit against these jerks. read more

Went to Public Storage to drop off a few things at my storage site. It's getting really full, so I spoke with Cynthia and she was super helpful. She explained all of the different prices for the different size storage units and told me what I would need to do in order to move into a larger unit. Next time I have things to add to storage, I'll follow her suggestions and upgrade to a larger unit. read more
