One of my favorite markets when I'm in town to get fresh snapper! Service was friendly and helpful. And I really love the app.

A 10 minute trip turned into a nightmare. I was waited on by Katherine in the seafood department. She acknowledge me after cutting up shrimp in front of me for 10 minutes. Katherine said, " You should have said something" is this how all of the customers are treated at Publix. I have to wait until you are ready to serve. Thus has not been the first incudent at Publix. I told Katherine to finish up what she was doing since serving the customer in front of her was not as important as the customer she was getting ready for. I ordered my $16 crab legs. The seafood department did not have butter, garlic or obay to season the crab legs. I caution you, the Publix on Baymeadowes raaod near 295 is a disgrace. I shop at Publix ofter for the bogo. There is actually one right by my house in St johns. Never again will I darken the Publix doors near I 295 and Baymeadows road. Katherine needs to be retrianed. Yesterday, I visited Publix in Reedy Branch Commons- to take advantage of the BOGO deals. There was NO advantage! I reached out and spoke to a mgr, by phone, to tell him that I found the pricing, of BOGO, DECEPTIVE and MISLEADING!!. Several items, I was told at the self-checkout, were not the right product for BOGO; when I had selected the items from the goup of items on shelves marked, all-over, as BOGO. I was told the products I selected were not eligible several times. I selected them specifically. I would not have selected them otherwise had they not been marked, on the shelves as BOGO. I am filing a formal complaint with Dept of Agriculture. read more

Decent Publix off 295/Baymeadows. Each visit the cashiers and other employees have super nice and helpful. The store is kept clean, orderly and stocked meeting the Publix expectations. So no complaints about any of that. I usually try to go early mornings to avoid the crowd as the store can get really crowded in the afternoon and on weekends. read more

Their online ordering for catering is the easiest thing to do for potlucks! Why have I not done this sooner?! All they need is 24 hours for the order. Sandwich platters, appetizers, fruit platters, cakes... they all taste good and they're all presented well. And they're close by. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could, I work nearby and get a pub sub now and then on my lunch. They're always late and never get everything right. Today I ordered a sub for pickup at 11:45 and went to pick it up at 12:15 to give THIRTY MINUTES of grace so I could actually eat. Guess what? Wasn't ready, and when it was ready I had to rush back to work to barely clock back in in time with no time to eat. My husband and I went to buy sandwiches for lunch. The man who made our sandwiches sat the cheese on top of the chicken and it was falling out of both sandwiches. I asked for buffalo sauce and he brought back a huge bottle (probably 64-120 oz bottle) and dumped it on my sandwich making a mess of it when it was packaged and when I tried to eat it. When I asked what types of cheese they have, I had to ask twice and lean over the counter because he mumbled the list quietly both times. When we went to check out, the older woman who checked us out at the "10 items or less" counter glared the entire time, never said hello, never smiled, was very cold. I went into this store and another area one in mid-April, cashiers "STILL" not wearing masks, gloves, no sneeze guards, no 6' markers for checkout lines, baggers no gloves/masks, no self-check out lines, no sneeze guards and mid-day so only three rows open and they were all right beside each other! I asked the store Ast Mgr at the Baymeadows/SSide location why the rows couldn't be simply every other or so and why no masks/gloves and he said "If you don't like shopping here you can go somewhere else"! So, I have! Outrageous that they simply don't care about their employees/customers. I emailed their corporate office, only received template response, alerted non-Action news - but, no story, IMO need their advertising $. I returned to check a few days ago, seems they added masks and 6' line markers & tiny sneeze guards but lines still side-side. While the Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration says stores should consider opening up every other cash register to keep workers safe, this is not a requirement and many stores are not taking this measure, said John Grant, president of Local 770 of the United Food and Commercial Workers." The Deli is horribly managed. The manager is never friendly, doesn't care how long you have to wait & it's evident by how long it always, I mean always, have to wait just to get lunch meat sliced & by how unfriendly the other Deli staff is. The manager will take a call-in order before she assist you in the store- it just happened to me. I don't recommend this Publix for this reason. read more

Don't bother going here on your lunch break. I was the only one in line for a sub and they were clearly prioritizing online orders. Left after standing there a solid ten minutes. The staff didn't even look at me, just continued grabbing ingredients in front of me and going back to the back room. I have been very happy with this store. A great shout out for the staff. The TERRIBLE is online ordering. The software tricks customers into LONG delays. I regularly drive past another Publix to get to this one. The parking lot is large and easy to manage (unlike the other location), the store is large and never insanely busy (unlike the other location), and I've only ever had super positive interactions with employees here (unlike the other location). This location has a few "extras" that I don't see at other Publix locations (my guess is because it's across the street from the upgraded Winn Dixie) like a coffee bar (made to order lattes, cappuccinos, etc) and more prepared foods in the deli than most (stuff like chicken breasts, Asian noodles, etc that just need to be reheated). Other than that, it's a pretty typical Publix, which is to say it gets 5 stars. read more

The stores are usually clean and the employees are usually all friendly. They have better subs than any of the sandwich chains and their Key Lime Pie is better than at most restaurants. The Publix location on the corner of baymeadows and 295 is by far the best location I have been to in my area. The service at all publix are always top notch and it is no exception here. The one thing that stands this location apart is its deli and meat department. They have so many more choices as far as pre made meals and meats. I like that they have so many choices and it makes cooking so much better when I can pick between so many unique food items. Also it seems that I can find different veggies and snacks at this location that I don't normally find at other places. The store is clean and the staff is as good as publix is known for having. What's not to like about Publix? They have clean stores and friendly employees. Their deli is the best bar none and I've been to many. I used to live in Jacksonville for about 9 years and every time I'm in Jax, I have to come to Publix for a sub! I live in Memphis now and the closest Publix we have is in Nashville. Patronize your local Publix! You don't know how good you have it! They're local (at least to Florida) and they're awesome. ALL we have in Memphis is Kroger. That's it. No competition and it sucks. I just do not understand this store. Everyone at the deli counter have been horrible. I've tried this location 4 times because I just knew this had to be a fluke. Usually Publix is spot on with customer service but this location is struggling horribly. I love Publix subs but everyone I have had make my sandwich put off the strong impression that they hate their jobs and hate their customers. Every time it has taken me over 45 min to get a sandwich made. Every time has been something different so I could not really say it's one thing except for just the lack of customer care or regard for them. They just didn't care so we wait while they talk amongst themselves, while they talk with their friends, while the go shopping for Ingredients that they don't have such as mustard. And everything you ask is like you personally offended them to make their day even worse. I said I'd never return for a sub. But this LAST time I went for chicken tenders. Again, waited for 15 min for someone to even acknowledge the line. A simple "sorry for the wait but we will be right with you" would completely suffice. But to ignore us is to make us believe we are doing something wrong. So sadly I just can't do this location anymore, which is unfortunate because it's right on my way home from work. So here are just a few customer service pointers- "good morning, good afternoon, good evening. How may I assist you, how may I help you. I ordered deli subs online during their special, and they came out rather bad unfortunately. I asked for ranch on the chicken tender subs, and specified to put plenty on in the notes, and they actually put on no ranch at all. Then on my ultimate subs, I asked for oil and vinegar packets instead of it put on the sub directly, and they completely left the packets out. Everything else about the subs were fine, but it was like they specifically did the opposite of what I mentioned in the notes on every single sub. That's pretty annoying. Another shining example of why Publix is the best grocery store chain in Florida. This location is in a large shopping center with easy access from 295, and offers plenty of parking and easy in and out access. This store is well-stocked, clean, and staffed with super friendly employees, just like every other Publix you'll shop. I used to only give 4 stars to Publix stores, because their prices are not quite as low as Wal-Mart or Target, however with their BOGO's, sales, and accepting competitors coupons, I've found you can save quite a bit of money by shopping at Publix stores. Combine that with their first rate customer service, and you have no reason to shop anywhere else. This store has a great Deli- you can get amazing quality meats and cheeses at a great price. And if you've never had a Publix Deli sub, you're missing out- it destroys anything Subway makes... Especially if you use their new online ordering system, it couldn't be easier- highly recommended for a quick lunch or dinner meal. Their produce department is always filled with quality items, this Publix has a GREAT selection of Greenwise Natural and Organic items, and the beer selection in this store is quite impressive, as well. My favorite brand of Samuel Adams beer is not easy to find- but they stock it here! Overall, can't recommend Publix enough. This store is a great example of why I won't shop any other grocery chains, and I will have to go back and give all my Publix stores a five star rating.
