Very small servings for prices they charge. You order and pay before you are seated. Me and another member in our party got the BBQ salad. I ordered a large and she ordered a small. I was charged $14.99 and she was charged $10.59 When our salads arrived they were the same size. I showed the waitress and she said they would credit my account. I came here at about 7:00 in the evening for some food. The wait was very long, and I ended up just getting take-out. What I didn't expect, though, was that takeout would take over 45 minutes! What's more, when I finally got my food, the chicken wings were very chewy and a little undercooked, the coating on the chicken wings was not what I ordered, and the fries were okay. It's OpenTable, so I didn't get credit, and ........ unless it has changed I will loose points for a "No Show" even though I'm here. The food was pretty good not great but is was alright. It was kind of dark in the restaurant and some of the patrons were table service and some were not. It was all very confusing. Our party happened to be table service and after we got our food a "server" came to our table the only thing she did was try to take our plates while we were still eating she really didn't do anything she just asked for all our stuff as soon as we put our silverware down. This was our first visit to Pucketts. I gave it three stars as the food was good. But, goodness the lady at the counter (where you order) reminded my husband of his old drill Sergeant. She 'barked' out the instructions on how to order etc with no friendliness in her voice at all! Not one thank you either. Stopped in for a super late lunch and was surprised by the counter service format. They were helpful and offered suggestions. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was Ah. Mazing!! I ordered the Mojo burger and a side of fries. Great fries and the burger was enormous and yummy. My friend ordered pulled pork platter with a side of Mac and cheese and green beans. Her portion was huge as well and delicious. The griddle cake thing wasn't good. Green beans were smoky with a bit of a bite at the end and the absolute star of the show was the Mac and cheese. I never order it and maybe eat it once a year at home when I'm desperate for a quick meal. The skillet portion was gigantic and I'm glad it was. I ate about a quarter of it myself. Great cheesy flavor and the noodles still had a good texture. Separate from the food their bathrooms were the most cleverly decorated and clean that I have ever seen in a restaurant. Bonus points for rescuing old materials with the old doors and comics. Well done Pucketts. Now if you'd just open a chain in MN that would be perfect. read more

Small-town Mississippi girl here - I know good food. This is good food. The collard greens are exceptional - possibly the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Pimento Cheese Bites - extremely good. The table shared the Cherry Smoked Wings in whiskey glaze - excellent. Husband got the fried catfish and said it was very good. Friend got the Piggy Mac and said it was delicious. Interesting set up. You order when you come in at the desk then choose a seat. That isn't my favorite but the food was delicious. Meatloaf was a large serving very good, sides were great. Ribs were fall off the bone and very well seasoned, choice of sauces on the table. Greens were tender but too salty other sides were awesome. Definitely would recommend it. read more

They are only getting 2 stars because there was a waiter that was super friendly. Otherwise, they would have gotten 1 because 0 isn't an option. We sat down at 7:00pm. We opted to order from our table (which we were told was an option when we walked in), because the line to order at the front was out the door with 1 older gentleman working the register. There were 9 in our party. We took about 40 minutes passing around a phone getting our order in, only for the website to not work. We then had to wait in line for an additional 30 minutes to place our order. When I brought up the fact that we had taken so long to do the website just for it to not work, they were aware of the issue!! Why would you allow customers to go through all of that, if the darn thing doesn't even work?? Also, while I was waiting in line, the manager came up and asked if everybody had a table. I replied that we had a table, but our app wasn't working for ordering. His exact reply was, "That isn't what I asked." So, after all of this nonsense, we finally get our food, only for it to be lukewarm at best. We definitely will not be returning. read more

My husband and I picked the whole farm ( I think is what it's called) it's basically a sampling of all their barbecue and when I say sample it's a very small portion of each. I was under the impression this was going to be enough food for two people, absolutely not. You get two sides and they're individual portion sizes like portioned for one person. Super greasy food... A group of us decided to make reservations here since everything in the area books up quick plus there are long waits no matter what time of the day you go. We ordered TN specials - fried chicken (so greasy and not much flavor), chicken fried steak - so gross - fatty and inedible and whiskey chicken (wife liked it). Their green beans were overcooked and sat in water. Their biscuit was like a stale pancake (literally). Burger was near burnt and so dry for my son...although he liked the fries. What attracted us to this place was the live music (there was none when we went). Don't get me wrong - it's a cool looking place (think Bavarian style) but the best part of the meal was their steamed broccoli...that's sad. I am going to give this a 4 star because they are still in Grand Opening mode which we all know is when the kinks are worked out in reality, rather than just in theory. They really have done a great job converting the old Denny's/Partridge and Pear into a hip, modern, country vibe. The bar is fabulous and the extra rooms well suited to quieter luncheons or down right rowdy groups, either or, they should all work really well. The conservatory/sun room/closed in porch area is gorgeous and was much cooler than the rest of the restaurant but for some reason, closed off. I think they may have been working out some kinks in the A/C while we were there as it was mighty stuffy and there were handyman ladders in use behind the bar. Now to the food, there was a fair selection and even a couple of specials on the board. We went for the chicken salad sandwich with fruit and the blackened catfish with potato salad. The potato salad tasted like a cross between reg pot salad and the loaded variety without the bacon or chives, it was pretty good, a 7.5. The blackened catfish was a 6.5 to 7 and the chicken salad sandwich was a 7. The fruit bowl was a 10, all super fresh super ripe/sweet with nary a bitter bites in the lot. The fish and chicken salad weren't bad at all, there was nothing wrong with them, they just had zero flavor. You couldn't taste the fish and you couldn't taste the chicken. Nor could you taste the seasoning, they were both just very very bland. We would have them again and they weren't anything to complain about, we have just both had much more flavorful food here in the Smokey's. It could also be attributed to the chefs just finding their footing. Overall a solid 4 because once the live music is going it will be hard to beat this place and I believe it will definitely stay packed! Welcome Puckett's, we're glad you're here. read more

This is a hidden gem! We have been coming to Pigeon Forge for years and have never eaten here. The atmosphere is so southern comfort. Not to mention the food is delicious! My kids told me I knock off stars without an explanation. So I'm going to start off there . The seating process was enough to have us leave. We were seated and the hostess told us that she hopes she put us at the right table. This was followed by multiple staff walking by the room where we were seated and looking in at us without saying a word. Finally as we were questioning our decision to come here, a waiter came to take our drink order. After the initial confusion, everything went smoothly. We had the brisket and a burger. The food was very tasty but my brisket was barely warm. The service was fast so I dont think it was sitting long. The Mac and cheese was very good and served piping hot. They have live music some evenings as well. I'm hoping that they are just ironing out the newness because it has the ability to be a great new option in Pigeon Forge. read more

Very underwhelming. Would still order that meal again. I tasted the catfish. HUGE portions. Loved the flavor and crispness of the fish. Would order again. We also ordered peach, cherry and chocolate cobbler. Ginormous portions. Was more like a bread pudding style cobbler. Crust was spectacular. The cobbler is worth the trip alone. AH-mazing!!!! This place exemplifies southern hospitality at its finest. The waiter was awesome and very nice. We came in late right before they closed and they still took wonderful care of us. The red neck burrito was good. The fried chicken was great. We didn't get a picture of the chips and queso because that was quickly devoured and the pound cake wouldn't have gotten a picture of it wasn't placed in front of me. Everyone in the group wanted to come back to this place and talked about how good it was the next day. Walk in to the receptionist and you order your food drinks appetizer right there and they give you a number and you pick your own seat. They were very prompt with their service as well as friendly. The pimento cheese bite appetizer was on point. Very good! We got the sampler platter with ribs. Brisket pulled pork and chicken on it. This is a tough one because while the food was actually quite good, the service was so poor that it soured the entire experience. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was just because they were understaffed, but it looks like they were MASSIVELY understaffed - I only saw three employees the entire time we were there. Thankfully we'd gotten a reservation but when we walked in and were waiting to be seated the hostess was quoting people hour+ wait times despite the fact that the building was practically empty (and the hostess was doing her level best to scare people away by saying that "it will be near closing time then, so...."). When we were seated, the room we were in was eerily quiet and our waiter was practically non-existent. The food took quite a while to arrive and long, long stretches passed while our waiter was absolutely nowhere to be seen and wasn't particularly friendly when he was around. At the beginning of the meal we'd been interested in trying some of the delicious sounding desserts, but by the end we knew not to even bother trying unless we wanted to be there another hour - not that we were offered any dessert. The food, however, was, as I said, really pretty good. Standard southern fare but done well and tasty. None of us had any complaints on the food and pretty thoroughly cleaned our plates. Had that meal taken half as long and the waiter been even marginally more attentive this would be a five star review. As it stands, we definitely won't be going back.
