Puckett's had been on my list for a while now and I'm glad it finally worked out. It's located right on the main strip in Pigeon Forge, amongst all the action. Make sure to secure a reservation online in advance to avoid waiting. Most everything our table ordered was absolutely delicious. Some favorites were the turkey breast, Nashville hot chicken bites, and fried catfish. The atmosphere is great and the service is well. We will be back if in the area!

Puckett's has that comfy, farmhouse charm that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The interior is cozy, warm, and perfectly decorated -- a great place to relax after a long day in Pigeon Forge. Drinks and appetizers came out quickly, which was a nice start. We tried the pimento cheese bites -- they had good flavor but were definitely on the greasy side. For my main dish, I went with the pulled pork platter. The meat had great flavor but quite a bit of fat throughout. My sides were a mixed bag: the skillet mac and cheese was a little bland, the collard greens were tasty but very salty, and the baked beans were the standout -- absolutely delicious! Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable, laid-back spot to eat on a better budget for the area and still enjoy some classic Southern flavors, stop on by and take a load off at Puckett's.

The servers are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is minutes from Dollywood and popular with tourists and locals. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner and talking to the other guests I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were so good and creamy probably the best I have ever eaten. The shrimp were tasty but somewhat on the shrimpy side -- pun intended The brisket was nicely smoked with perfect burnt ends We ordered the Presley Parfait to share. It was a delicious banana pudding, vanilla wafer and peanut butter mousse concoction. It was a nice way to end the meal

Incredible service. Nate was a gem. The smoked meatloaf was as good as promised and we just simply had a wonderful dining experience.

Food was great! Really wish they had breakfast at this location but the lunch we had and excellent service made up for it.

It's a fast casual restaurant. You order at the counter right at the front door. Food is southern comfort food. The line gets a bit crazy but moves fast. You also need to order your drinks from the bar. Bar service was very slow. Food came pretty quickly. They had warned it takes 30 mins for the fried chicken but it came faster than expected. Food was good. Piggy Mac was a hit. Mashed potatoes and Salmon were great. Fried chicken tasted great too. They do have live music but not while we were there.

Veggie plate - potato salad, collards, mashed sweet potato and Cajun corn cake.

After having purchased Puckett's bbq sauce at my grocery store we decided to try the restaurant. I ordered the veggie plate with collards, mashed sweet potatoes, and potato salad. My son ordered a full slab of ribs, coleslaw and mac and cheese. All the veggies were good, the potato salad has a Cajun style seasoning in it, collards are fresh and not chopped mushy mess. The Mac and cheese was really good and tasted homemade. Our favorite only disappointment was the ribs. We are used to meaty juicy ribs and these ribs were not that. Then are long smoked over cherry wood and St. Louis style rather than baby back. So they had a good taste but needed a lot of sauce to not feel so dry in the mouth. We said next time we will just try the pulled pork since it's fattier meat.

Food was good, service was great! But, if you're going to charge that much for a Bloody Mary, I expect more than a juice glass.

They taste greatz kinda like small mozzarella stick nuggets. We ordered four plate: grilled cheese, plain cheeseburger, buffalo chicken sandwich, and B.E.L.T. (bacon egg, lettuce, tomato). Fries all the way around. They were well-cooked crinkle fries, and well seasoned too. I had the B.E.L.T. which was great. In fact, all of the food was ideal and fresh. Between the flawless, quick food, and cleanliness, and the service I am missing nothing. Kylie was super nice and always there when we needed her. Overall, this place is a winner. Simple menu, all-day breakfast, and convenient location. Definitely worth checking out.

For once in Pigeon Forge, I have ate something that actually tasted distinguishable. If you blind-folded me and had me take a bite out of different burgers from different burger joints, I could guess this one with no hesitation. However, one notable throw-off i had was that the burger had a weird aftertaste of tuna. I ordered the smash burger and it had the perfect amount of grease that doesn't drench you, but keeps up with freshness and taste. And the reason I wanted to write this review was for the french fries. Tired of soggy fries? This place puts the FRY in french fries. They maintained a delicious level of crunch and crisp (if that's your gusto) and didn't have that same refrigerator taste. I also ordered cheese curds and they had the most amazing cheese pull and tasted great! The service was excellent too, unlike some servers, they don't abandon you and they keep up with you and refills / clearing the table. If there's anything I appreciate more, it's waiters and waitresses that (even if they don't) act like they cherish their job! And if you yearn for a setting that makes you in the mood for adventure.. or a bear lover.. this place has attracting visuals so you aren't trapped in a minimalist setting. Overall, if you're up for trying new flavors and advancing your taste buds' vocabulary, I recommend The Fat Bear Family Tavern!

I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..

I ordered the traditional schnitzel (pork cutlet that was pounded thin). It was not breaded, but it was coated with egg and flour and prepared well. I had the German potato salad and red cabbage side orders. Both were served warm as is custom. I was a bit upset that the waiter gave me the bill when the meal was finished. I told him it was my birthday and that I had wanted coffee and cake. He took the bill and crumpled it in his hand. The portion of cake that he presented could have easily served three! I left the top frosting. The chocolate cake was moist and the frosting between the layers was German chocolate. Available seating offerings were a booth, table, or a table al fresco. It had the beer garden appeal. I opted to sit inside. The restaurant is also very family oriented (as are most things in Pigeon Forge). Prices were reasonable, food was served at the correct temperature, portions were prodigious. The venue was also immaculate. I would recommend this tavern to anyone who appreciates German fare.

Never have I really ventured outside of that and I couldn't actually tell you why. When my kids and I made a quick 1 day Dollywood trip over to Pigeon Forge, 23 we're looking for a place to eat prior to the big day at the park. What's funny is I relied in Googles AI (Gemini) to tell me where to go. I was driving around and was asking for recommendations. It said Mama's Farmhouse was a popular place to eat for families and it was all-you-can-eat. The kids wanted fried chicken and Salisbury steak, which was in the menu for that day. What a coincidence! If I could summarize it, this is basically a local Cracker Barrel-style restaurant but the food is a lot better. It's tucked away off of a side road off of the main highway 321 road and reminds me a lot of the Applebarn Restaurant down the road. The ambiance is this old timey feel, like many of the establishments around the area. The fried chicken (bone-in), chicken tenders, fries catfish, and Salisbury steak was what we ordered for our mains. Everything was delicious! The seasoning had the perfect amount of salt across all the dishes and sides. The chicken was juicy and tender. The Salisbury steak was solid, some of the best I've ever had. Savory, rich brown gravy, and tender chunks of beef. All the sides were amazing too, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and chicken and dumplings. Honestly there wasn't a negative thing about this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.
