This was our first time trying Puckett's and it definitely will not be our last! I had the pulled pork sliders and fries. Delicious pork on sliders buns and crispy French fries. Also came with a sampling of coleslaw. The pork was cooked great and had great flavor. Just my personal taste, I would have wanted some more cole slaw to put on each slider, but they were very good just the same! My wife had the pork nachos. Generous serving topped with sour cream, cilantro, and fresh jalapeños. The nachos were the ones that are good and thin and were an excellent base to the pork and toppings. Comes with a side of salsa which was an excellent addition to the meal. This is a great local place and it is very affordable. Prices are more like 'back home' prices and not like many other 'tourist location' restaurants. Our waitress tonight was Sharon and she did an outstanding job taking care of us and the others in our area. Of course, I always look at what others order and the sampler and the country fried chicken are on most to try next time. The food is very good. Unfortunately while there, an incident occurred. I had booked a room with an occupancy of 19 at Puckett's for my wedding party to eat together. Somehow, I had miscounted my invitees and we showed up with 1 extra adult than discussed. Christina the manager did not handle the situation politely. I realized we had 1 extra person and looked up to see her glaring at me. I of course upset (wedding stress already in full swing) had mentioned I have a text let me go check it. When I said that Christina made the comments out loud in front of everyone about how she was the one talking to me and she knows what the contract says. I wish she would've pulled me aside politely to resolve the situation instead of embarrassing me in front of my family and friends. She offered to move us into a bigger room but followed that up with "there's a memorial set up in there for tomorrow". I of course was not going to ask her to remove the memorial set up. My dad and mom unfortunately had to sit in a different room and missed my rehearsal dinner. Would not recommend this place if you are looking for an easy going experience. read more

Great first time here! Staff was very friendly and we got a seat near the bar. Perfect choice. Lots of local brews and foodie options. Stevie was our server. She gave us excellent recommendations and we took them all! We started with the fried Pimento cheese bites in pepper jelly. OMG. Delish! For entrees I got the chicken fried chicken with green beans and smashed potatoes! Just perfect. Jackson had the barbecued brisket steak sandwich with fries. Not a fan of the way they take orders up front and then you wait at your table for the food. Feels impersonal and the cashier was rude and rushy. Had a long line we had to wait in with our fussy kids instead of being able to seat them at a table to color while we ordered like we typically would. They must have had a skeleton crew in the kitchen because the food took forever to come out even though they weren't very busy. Furthermore, they brought the wrong salad dressing. The waitress must have had to go to the store to buy more dressing with how long it took to bring the correct one out. The food was average for the price. Nothing to write home about. My family went to Puckett's in Pigeon Forge on 8/16/24. We live in the area and had been here several times. On this date, the food was awful. We ordered the Sausage and cheese appetizer. The sausage was cold. Nashville Cheese Steak and Brisket Sandwich. The buns we not toast and kind of cheap and the brisket is really mushy and not hot or even warm. Both sandwich's were completely mushy and soggy. My husband ordered and double cheeseburger and the cheese was still cold on burger and not melted. Most would say why not send back and leave. My husband gets embarrassed and we were really hungry so we choked down the food and left. The worst park is we were overcharge $14.22!! I attached the receipt. Beware of this restaurant. Not only bad food but overcharging. I reached out to the restaurant and couple of weeks ago and Amy yet to here back so I have contacted my credit card company. read more

Our first impression was pretty bad. There is a big sign saying you can order from your phone at the table. (Typically it is an order-at-the-door Situation). As we were at a table ordering on a phone an employee even came by to make sure the process was going smoothly. Turns out it wasn't, the app would not allow us to pay and complete our order. When we asked for help we were given none and instead instructed to go to the back of the line. We had a pregnant woman and a 16 month old with us. There was no sympathy or an apology for the inconvenience. This added over 15 minutes to our wait time and we almost walked away (not so much having to return to the line but having to go to the end and the attitude we got). While in line we noticed quite a few people left when they saw the length of the line. The reviews from locals were good though and the ambience seemed nice so we decided to wait, again. We finally got our order placed. The food came out in 25 minutes. The wings and ribs were good. The burger, potato salad and beans are all decent - not the best we've ever had but not bad. We decided to order dessert. Again, they said we could order from the table. (There was also a sign at the table saying that). We gave our orders to the waitress and waited. And waited. Finally one of us got up to see what was going on. Apparently they were waiting for us to come up and pay. This was never said. They did bring them out shortly after we paid for them. Thankfully the desserts were delicious. This would be an easy five stars for us if there hadn't been the issue around ordering/paying and the staff's reaction to that. Really enjoyed this restaurant! This was our second visit to this location in Pigeon Forge, last year was the first and we just had to come back this year. The service was very fast and friendly. They have modified their model to be counter service for ordering. It makes the ordering process much faster and helps with the staffing crunch still being experienced in the restaurant industry. The food came out extremely fast and was piping hot and delicious!! The restrooms are very clean and large. There's a great bar area and also a private room for larger groups. Make sure when visiting Pigeon Forge that you make a stop into Puckett's...it's often overlooked as it's nestled next to the Christmas stores. We were looking for place that had sandwiches specifically a BLT. So I saw Puckett s had a BLT so off we went to get it. To my surprise when we came in they had fried green beans amazing so I got them. I took a bite of them and they were delicious. Pure delicious if you like green beans. The BLT was phenomenal. It actually had bacon on it and lots of it. it was one of the best BLTs I've had in a long time. So if you are in the mood for a BLT, stop by Pucketts's and get the best BLT, you won't be disappointed. We saw the next table, get the phenomenal fried brownie, but we were too full maybe next time but it' looked amazing, if you are a chocolate lover check it out and make sure you get extra spoons so you can share. Pucketts kept topping the Yelp list with high marks and we gave it a try. Such a cute place!! You order your food at the front and pay then pick a place to sit. We got the bbq wings and Cobb salad. The salad dressings are AMAZING!!!! I am a sucker for a good dressing. The bbq wings were sweet and smoky!!! Nice and sticky... finger licking good!! The salad was excellent as well!!! This was my first time to this BBQ place. Walking in with a few people around was just chaotic, it needs structure to let everyone look at the menu for a few minutes. They won't let you sit down until you order and the front lobby isn't that big.....just a fustercluck. OK, after almost leaving because of that we did order and got our food. It was good bbq and i would go through the mess to eat there again. Potato salad was creamy and a touch sweet. how i like it. the pulled pork was nice without anything but i did try their sauce. it was sweet and tangy with a nice smokiness(texas style) and just sweet with the Memphis style. I liked them both. normal good skin on fries. My wife loved the catfish. mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy, though room temp (we like it hot). portions were good. read more

Always wondered what could fill the gap between Christmas place n the rest of Pigeon Forge. Pucketts grocery has a southern farmhouse charm. We walked in on a Saturday to a mostly cleared out bar. The inside has been re-decorated with a purpose and the bar was stocked and ready to rock. We came in for a night cap and went ahead and ordered a salad n loaded fries just to get a feel. We enjoyed a couple beers and the sides were great. No live music so maybe we will time our visit better next time. Overall a cool spot and good prices on the burgers and handhelds. It's kinda like the smoky Mtn brewery's classy southern cousin. Service was attentive and perky throughout. With a bit of time they should do well in the area. read more

While in Nashville, I wanted to come to Puckett's but they were booked. Luckily, there's one right here in Pigeon Forge so I made reservations. When my family & I pulled in, it was very quiet, especially compared to the one in Nashville. We walked in and stood there for a few minutes until a hostess appeared (she was wiping a bunch of tables). We had a 7 pm reservation and didn't get sat until 7:15. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the small number of tables occupied in the restaurant was due to lack of workers? Our server was Tanner and he was great! Seriously so nice and attentive to our needs. He was great at making suggestions on food and drink. He was definitely hustling around to the tables he had. My husband and I shared the pimento cheese bites, which were good. My only complaint would be there were 2 of 5 bites that were somewhat "empty." However, the flavor was good! My husband and I both got the chicken fried chicken, which was SO good! I had this once before and knew exactly what I was going to get. My sides were "ok" but definitely weren't hot. I think the prices were great! For a family of four with 2 alcoholic beverages, 3 fountain drinks, an appetizer, 2 kids meals, and 2 adult meals our bill was $85. It gets 2 stars because of the bartender. He was the only person in the restaurant who tried to help us. We ordered meatloaf when we got there and I'd love to tell you about it. Except I can't because it never came. After 45 minutes the bartender took pity on us and went to the kitchen to figure out what was going on. The mess of ordering is insanity. It was sheer chaos at the door with people everywhere that didn't know what they wanted, had no where to stand, and no sense of organization. Once you get past that process, you wander to find a table. With the door being open, the entire place is cold... The whole farm meats were dry and over cooked and the pulled pork was laden with fat since it apparently wasn't trimmed before smoking. Piggy Mac was ridiculously small for the $15 price tag and the pulled pork was flavorless. Gave the review a 2 because the nachos were at least decent. This was our first visit to Pucketts. I gave it three stars as the food was good. But, goodness the lady at the counter (where you order) reminded my husband of his old drill Sergeant. She 'barked' out the instructions on how to order etc with no friendliness in her voice at all! Not one thank you either. Good things and not so good. I'll start with the good... Cute restaurant with Mini shop in the front. T-shirts, mugs, etc. Our server was very pleasant as was the restaurant manager. My Smoked Margarita was delicious! BBQ salt rim. Just yummy. I also loved my Fried Green Tomato BLT. Topped with pepper jelly, I switched out pimento cheese for a slice of cheddar. My mom really liked her Cobb salad. The not so great.... The host who answered the phone for reservations and was who greets customers was extremely rude. My mom had her on speaker as we were driving to the restaurant and all in the car were just shocked on how rudely she was speaking. If I was not so determined on eating at Pucketts, we would have went somewhere else. Both of my nieces liked their Hot Chicken sandwiches. But said they would have been tastier with a sauce or something to snaze it up. My Aunt was so put off by the host, she liked her pulled pork but will probably never return simply due to the host's attitude. I get that in this time in the world, amid COVID, it's hard for restaurants, any service industry to survive. I would return to Pucketts to give a second chance. Pass on this place unless you have over an hour to wait for your food! You pay at the counter then seat yourself so you are stuck there since you've already paid... My husband and I have eaten Puckett's years ago and both enjoyed our meals, but this time around the food wasn't great. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich which didn't have the heat like you would typically experience with a Nashville sandwich. My husband had the meatloaf which tasted days old and make sure to pass on the Mac-n-cheese too. The restaurant itself is cute but I can't say I was a fan of the food. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits with a side Catfish Fillet, my wife ordered the Strawberry Salad and our yelp friend Jess ordered the BBQ ribs. [ THE FOOD ] There was nothing particularly special about any of our dishes, but I did find the gravy for the grits to be overwhelming. * The SHRIMP & GRITS were more like a soup because of the excessive gravy, which made it difficult to enjoy (3 stars). * The CATFISH was pretty good, but either it was a little too overcooked or the cooking grease needed to be changed. I doubt if I would order it again (3 stars). * Jess allowed me to sample a few bones of her CHERRY WOOD-SMOKED BABY BACK RIBS. Decent flavor and fairly tender but I doubt I would specifically come here for them again (3.5 stars). * My wife opted to omit the bleu cheese on her STRAWBERRY SPINACH SALAD, but wished they had another cheese option (3.5 stars). * We all shared a DEEP FRIED BROWNIE SUNDAE for dessert. Our first dinner in TN was so good. We only went to restaurants that have outdoor seating and this place had 3-4 tiny tables out front for outdoor dining. Luckily, it was t that busy when we came. The service was really good and followed COVID guidelines by wearing masks. I ordered the meatloaf and it was different from any meatloaf I've had. It was so good and I didn't know why until I saw that it was smoked. It was so flavorful and very filling. And the sides were delicious too, green beans and mashed potatoes. It also came with this weird pancake looking thing that wasn't good. Didn't love that. My sister ordered the Mac and cheese dish and it was really good but a little TOO cheesy. Sooooo disappointed, we went to Pucketts a couple of years ago in Franklin TN. It was a great experience all the way around. We were really looking forward to this dinner tonight. I was charged $14.99 and she was charged $10.59 When our salads arrived they were the same size. I showed the waitress and she said they would credit my account. I came here at about 7:00 in the evening for some food. The wait was very long, and I ended up just getting take-out. What I didn't expect, though, was that takeout would take over 45 minutes! What's more, when I finally got my food, the chicken wings were very chewy and a little undercooked, the coating on the chicken wings was not what I ordered, and the fries were okay. The food was pretty good not great but is was alright. It was kind of dark in the restaurant and some of the patrons were table service and some were not. It was all very confusing. Our party happened to be table service and after we got our food a "server" came to our table the only thing she did was try to take our plates while we were still eating she really didn't do anything she just asked for all our stuff as soon as we put our silverware down. Stopped in for a super late lunch and was surprised by the counter service format. They were helpful and offered suggestions. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was Ah. Mazing!! I ordered the Mojo burger and a side of fries. Great fries and the burger was enormous and yummy. My friend ordered pulled pork platter with a side of Mac and cheese and green beans. Her portion was huge as well and delicious. The griddle cake thing wasn't good. Green beans were smoky with a bit of a bite at the end and the absolute star of the show was the Mac and cheese. I never order it and maybe eat it once a year at home when I'm desperate for a quick meal. The skillet portion was gigantic and I'm glad it was. I ate about a quarter of it myself. Great cheesy flavor and the noodles still had a good texture. Separate from the food their bathrooms were the most cleverly decorated and clean that I have ever seen in a restaurant. Both wife and I ran out of tea (Not busy) Had *reservations because typically any place in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area for breakfast is slammed. (Not Busy) *Told them upon arrival, Wife said it on way to table, I said it again when we got to table. It's OpenTable, so I didn't get credit, and ........ unless it has changed I will loose points for a "No Show" even though I'm here. Small-town Mississippi girl here - I know good food. This is good food. The collard greens are exceptional - possibly the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Pimento Cheese Bites - extremely good. The table shared the Cherry Smoked Wings in whiskey glaze - excellent. Husband got the fried catfish and said it was very good. Friend got the Piggy Mac and said it was delicious.
