We stopped in here for a nice relaxing lunch. We were greeted promptly and seated. The atmosphere is casual, yet nice. Service is professional and on the elegant side, but the whole environment is pretty easy going. We started with the arancini. The arribata sauce served with it was delicious. The arancini itself had some good flavor, but was served luke warm. For the entree I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and meatballs. The pasta cooked perfectly, and I understand it's made in house. The bolognese sauce was outstanding, I loved every bite of it. The meatballs had good flavor, but these too were served luke warm, borderline hint of coldness. Overall, a great experience here. All the sauces we tried (I also got to try my wife's butter sage sauced ravioli) were excellent. The items that seemed to be prepared in advanced and heated up to be served were of good quality, they just need to get them a little warmer before serving. read more

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner here. We both shared an appetizer of fried rice balls that were amazing. I had the pumpkin ravioli and my wife had a pasta seafood dish. They both were so good! But one of the main things we noticed is that we actually could talk to each other! Yes, there was pleasant music in the background, but it was not so loud you could not hear the people at your table talk which is common at so many restaurants now. Food, service and ambiance were all great! Armando, Leo and Alberto took care of us throughout the entire meal. Armando would check in on the experience and share more about their ingredients and history. Leo checked on us well before we could ever need to ask for something but also gave us the space and assurance that there was no rush. Alberto never let a glass go empty, a dirty plate or utensil sit on the table and timed everything that was brought to the table around the conversation being had. Based on the front of house staff and the food that came out, I can imagine we'd have just as great of an experience if we had dined in the kitchen there. We ordered the clams to start, followed by lasagna, butternut squash ravioli and the pork chop. The pork chop will be a signature dish there for sure! Both pasta dishes were incredible and I think the 3 of us could order the ravioli every time. If I had one tiny hesitation it would be that the potatoes were under-salted but my goodness they were so perfectly crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pesto they serve you upon arrival. The menus are the perfect size too. Plenty to choose from and try the next time but not overwhelming. Great wine or beer options. The calamari itself were about as good as I've ever had! The meat was sweet and tender, and the fried crust was light and not too oily. Perfect. Our daughter (calamari lover) loved it too. She doesn't care about any sauce, marinara or aioli. I would have like some aioli. The pappardelle was perfectly cooked fresh pasta. Lastly the pork chop was amazing. The potatoes were a perfect foil for the flavors of the pork and gravy. And the gravy! I was concerned that it might be not needed but it worked well! The spinach was the perfect temperature without getting mushy. We LOVED it and will be back many times. read more

Excellent food and great service. It was busy when we went, but absolutely worth it. We didn't feel neglected at all! The owner was so sweet and attentive, and the servers were kind and polite. I have really bad tree nut allergies, and I didn't have any reactions at all, which I'm so thankful for. Normally, I have to triple-check, or else I'll be at risk, but I was reassured that the ingredients listed on the menu were correct, and voila, no reaction! The restaurant is a bit on the small side, but the ambiance is perfect! There's a very homely feel and lively chatter all around. The art pieces were a nice topic of conversation as well. The food and drink were excellent, as was the service. I had the salad with pine nuts, pear, and goat cheese, and adding shrimp for protein. Every single bit was fresh and delicious. Our table also had a salmon dish, and a chicken piccata-- one of the best ever. We neglected to ask to see the label on the prosecco, which is a shame since it was wonderful as well. We'll just have to hope that they serve the same kind when we return. Finally, our table shared the best tiramisu ever (and as a rule I am not a fan). It's a terrific place. read more

Food was delicious, service was impeccable. My wife and I shared the ample burrata and tomato appetizer. She loved her Marsala entree. I asked if the chef could prepare my favorite dish of linguine with broccoli and sausage in a garlic and wine sauce. It was perfect! The owner later explained that their house made pasta included semolina which resulted in the yellow color. Tiramisu to finish was award worthy. We went here for the first time for lunch on a Saturday early afternoon. It was not crowded, a pleasant atmosphere. The food was fantastic. We had a Caesar salad which we loved-- an excellent Caesar dressing. We then had the spaghetti Bolognese and very much loved the sauce. We saw other dishes that guests at other tables ordered, and we certainly will be back sooner rather than later to try some of them -- though it will be difficult to refrain from ordering what we ordered this time just because it was so good. read more

First time there tonight and everything we had was really good! Homemade fresh bread, salad, our entres were Salmon with potatoes and vegetables, Veal Marsala, and their homemade lasagna. All were authentic and very good. They brought us a large piece of one of the best Tiramisu we had all ever tasted for the birthday we were celebrating! Good, friendly service and a great dinner. We tried this new Italian place in our neighborhood and mostly liked it. Service was friendly and quick. The owner, Armando chatted with us and told us he could make us anything we wanted as long as he had the ingredients! Nice! We had an amazing affogato, the gelato was the creamiest, most delicious we've ever had...the espresso had good flavor too. I had gnocchi with vodka sauce and my husband had chicken piccata. Both were good, not great. Each dish lacked spice and my husbands chicken was a bit "crunchy"; we weren't sure why(was it over or under cooked?) The bread was served with a yummy pesto sauce, but once it cooled it got hard and difficult to eat. Prices were on the higher side...$100 for two with tax and tip(one glass of wine, two entrees and dessert). We love that there is a new Italian restaurant in our neck of the woods and will definitely give this place another chance. read more

Tomato sauce base was great. Being that I have experience being an italian cook, the tomato sauce is how I grade the restaurant so this was great. My daughter is also a cook (CIA) and enjoyed/felt the food was good, portions were good, flavors were on point, and well-plated. While not a fine dining establishment per se, it was in her opinion worth coming back to again (which is quite a compliment). Ambience: Feels like eating at my friend's italian home. Owner welcomes you personally, but not overbearing nor overstepping, excellent balance of feeling at something family owned and operated but having the privacy of your company. Service: Excellent. Went at the busiest time possible. Saturday at 6 pm. Service was quick, attentive, friendly, and anticipatory. Most importantly: my wife loved it and I am sure we are going to be coming back often as it is relatively small, private, and just so comfortable to be at. There are some places in the immediate area that are pretentious / full of themselves or the servers are condescending, which shall not be named: This place is a diamond in the rough. This is my second review I've left since being on yelp for 10 years, but this restaurant is great AND has potential to be out of this world. I hope you give this place a try. The ambience is perfect; it is very clean and white inside, we seldom heard the music which was a plus because we were able to visit with everybody at our table appropriately. The restaurant is not too loud like so many are these days. The service was top notch. The food was all very good, nothing was truly excellent. The Panna cotta is the only dish we would not order again as it was bland. Everything is definitely on the expensive side here. read more

Upon entering I was greeted by their delightful hostess, and Armando, the owner. They were both so friendly and genuine, I cannot wait to go back and actually eat inside the restaurant next time. I felt like a simple dish to go and Armando told me he could make anything I wanted as long as he had the ingredients, which they did, thankfully. The chef even came out and spoke with me for a while. Honestly they are all so friendly and welcoming ! Once I got home and ate my pasta I couldn't believe how perfect it was! I've used Yelp for years but never left a review until now. We took our grandson and his girlfriend to Pulcinella for lunch. To say it was the perfect choice is an understatement. The first thing you notice is the bright, creative decor. Then how clean looking the whole place is. The menu had all the right dishes. Dianne ordered the Lamb Chops medium rare, Gordan ordered the Lasagna, Caroll the Risotto, and I had the Pork Chop which was topped with smoked mozzarella and prosciutto. All fresh and delicious. I came here with my family on Christmas Eve, and it couldn't have been a better experience. I had the tortellini with lobster, and it was amazing, perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. We celebrated our 42nd anniversary at Pucinella last night. Warm greeting at the door and seated immediately. Menus and bread service right away. Warm bread and delightful dip/ spread. Had meatballs for appetizers and they were great along with the tomato sauce and toast. Mushroom Risotto was xlnt but was too much for one meal so we took the rest home. Veal scalopini was great with all the mushrooms and sauce. Garlic spinach was wonderful. Took some of this home also. Armando was a genial host and made sure everyone was happy. I would have given place a 5 stars but two of the items were disappointing. We ordered 6 items which includes two appetizers. The Arancini was Ok it did have a sour taste to it. The Guazzetto Di Vongole the ratio with off. There were more open clam shells, then there were clams. I think we counted 5-6 clams and more shells. read more
