Called these people to test for mold in our air ducts....MISTAKE! The tech? was unknowledgeable. uninformed and generally gave us no sense of confidence in his opinion. He took five minutes in the attic(for a lot of money), was inarticulate about our problem and I was angry that my wife called this particular company(sorry Valerie). When we got the results back for the mold test, they would not explain them and would not answer any phone calls to enlighten us to the results. For an astonishing amount of money we got a piece of paper with a graph that I could have printed in my sixth grade social studies class. Terrible clean-out! Had this company clean out my dryer wall vent in September, & my clothes stopped drying immediately after they "completed" the job. I tried calling them SO many times to have someone come figure out what they did wrong but could never get anyone to follow through with actually showing up. I left VMs and spoke with employees who promised callbacks that never came. I finally ended up purchasing a vent for my dryer that vents the air into my house and was able to dry my clothes that way until the end of December. Today I finally broke down & hired a different company to assess & fix the situation. (See pics) Turns out, Pure Air had just shoved all the lent into the 45° connection space & created a giant clog. The pic with lint in the shop vac is what was pulled out after the clog was removed. I totally deserve my money back. Had to pay $275 to get it fixed correctly. I rarely leave reviews, but this one was worth it to warn others and hopefully help prevent what happened to me. Comments on company reply: I don't know what all this talk about a landlord is?? You don't even know what you're talking about. I am the homeowner, & I am the only one who has been in communication with your company. Have you been talking to someone else about my property? Maybe that is where things went wrong...you were calling some stranger. I missed one appointment because I was not back from Israel yet. That was the first appointment that was scheduled. I tried to schedule/reschedule after that multiple times. I left VMs. That second time you mentioned, I took off work and was at home for, but you guys no-showed. No one called me...ever! Perhaps you have the wrong number? You guys have cost me a lot of extra money & headache. I recently had Emilio and his crew come and clean the air vents in my house. At first I was skeptical as I found and booked them on Facebook, and then after five minutes in my house he suggested we had mold then prices began fluctuating and the suggestions of different packages ensued. I live in Lawrence KS but they said they were a traveling outfit out of Texas. I then became more skeptical. Emilio was very professional, he was friendly and the more I spoke and asked questions, the better I felt. He got me the best deal he could through head quarters, near the end of their time working on our house he offered to clean my dryer vents free of charge. The. I scheduled a dryer vent cleaning with Pure Air directly through Yelp messages. Scheduling was easy and they were upfront about the price of service. We had to reschedule once due to an equipment issue, but they called promptly and we found a new time a few days later. The serviceman ended up being ready for our job about an hour ahead of the scheduled time, so they called and asked if it would be alright to come early, which it was. The service was performed quickly and easily and credit card payment was also easy at the end of service. read more

Quick response from owner herself once I submitted request for services (within 12 hours). They call ahead of time to alert you of their ETA, which is great! Tech was friendly and proficient - finished in under an hour. Explained the process and answered my questions. Will be calling them back when we are ready to get ducts cleaned this fall! read more

Terrible experience. Was lied to by 2 different group of techs from this company about vents being cleaned. 1st appointment 3 techs came out, rushed thru process and left me with a huge mess , Appeared They were more concerned to get to next appointment then to do the job right. did not make an attempt to clean up the mess they made until I started sweeping, then one offered to help. By then I was throughly upset that they would leave my home with a mess like that. Did not cover anything or let me know there may be debris. Sanitizing process that I paid extra for, $300.00,was supposed to take 7 minutes but it was done in about 1 minute. Also noticed after they left they had used my 2 bathroom towels were covered in black gunk. Evidently they had used them to clean up or wipe off debris. Next day debris was hanging from bedroom vent along with debris all over my dogs bed. I was livid. Called to have someone come check. Asked to speak to owner, which never happened. Received a call from some arrogant kid that referred to himself as "Mr. Peyton" and said he was an EXECUTIVE with the company and referred to the manager of the company as just an appointment scheduler. found out he was just one of the techs after the fact even though he kept trying act like he was some big deal with the company and calling himself "MR. PEYTON" He was to come over, check all the vents and show me everything. He came in , pulled the debris off the vent opened 1 vent, kept telling me he had no idea what the debris was, said he had never seen anything like that and I needed to call someone else to figure it out. Told me he did not have the proper equipment with him to check and reclean out the vents. The person with him just kept vacuuming the floor, no attempt to look at the other vents and then left. I called him and said did you actually check all the vents and are 100% cleaned and he said yes. Never showed me anything and then lied to the manager and told her he walked Thur the house with me and showed me every vent and I was happy. Asked for someone else to come and recheck , again. This was a Wednesday, was told they would have tech there 1st thing next day. No one showed up until the following Monday. These techs seemed very honest, took their time and showed me everything. The vents had not been cleaned correctly, their was a lot of dirt and debris left in them. They took photos of every vent before and after and a bag of debris back with them to show the office manager. It appears they finally were cleaned properly. if you have have had vent duct cleaning with this company ,you might want to have it checked by another company. Clearly the Techs did not care if they did the job right and lied to me about what they had done twice and didn't think I would check. But they got caught. Big mistake on my part for not reading the reviews,Trust the negative reviews. I asked to speak to the owner several times and never heard from them. Seems like the owner either has no idea that their Techs are irresponsible and dishonest or the owners just do not care. Either way, would definitely not recommend them. read more

Bad decision to pick these guys! They don't follow through on their commitments. Promised before and after pics of the ducts but they were never provided. As well we were concerned about black mold and agreed to their supposedly certified process to eliminate. We asked for the certification but they wouldn't provide it. Same thing with the pictures - they weren't provided. They said in a subsequent email that they would send the pics and certification they didn't - and now they won't even respond to phone calls or emails. And they didn't clean all the ducts and left grimy finger prints on our newly painted ceilings. Very upsetting as we have no proof of them doing any of the work we paid $1200 for. read more

They came out within a few days and not only cleaned my fireplace but also suggested I clean my dryer vent and offered to do it at a discount since they were there. They ran a little late but stayed in touch and apologized more than once for the delay. Great service and I would used them again! read more

It is not wise to use this company. I had them clean our air vents and dryer vent right as we were moving into our new home. When they left I thought they had done a good job, until my dryer quit working. I had another vent company come in. My dryer vent was 99% blocked!!! i hired this company through home advisor thinking they were reputable but they are not registered with the bbb. im very unhappy about the service i recieved for over $600 when i distinctly expressed to not then return or the coils . they were hired to clean my vents and dryer vent, which should have cost me a bit over $200 i was decieved about the total amount. i didnt receive an invoice with a detailed statement of what was going to be cleaned. it was very dishonest to charge me for something that i specifically said no to. i do not suggest hiring this company at all. they did not clean any of my vents upstairs at all. their suction system is supposed to clean every vent in your home but it can only reach a few vents downstairs. after paying over $600 for a spectacular vent cleaning our families sinuses should not stuffy but it still is. these are shady characters. i repeat dont use them at all. they will jack up the prices? read more
