Based on positive YELP reviews, I jumped right into a contract with PURE ECO for duct cleaning of the HVAC system in my 1100 sq ft townhome. My simple HVAC system has one 14"x30" filtered intake and 4ea output registers located in living areas. Unfortunately, I'm posting a negative review of my experience with this company. My home is immaculate, which the team remarked about when they first arrived. When the team left a few hours later, my home was coated with dust, including significant accumulations on the wood floors, furniture and carpets, and even sticking to the wall that was close to their vacuum machine. The PURE ECO team was unprepared and ill-equipped to work on the interior of a personal residence. Their equipment and hoses were filthy with dirt and dust from other jobs. I asked them to clean off the hoses before they brought them in, and they indicated that new filters were in the vacuum machine...(as it turns out, I should have checked personally.) After about 2 hours of cleaning, the vacuum machine quit. It was so clogged with dirt (from other jobs) that the motor burned out. They finished the job with a shop-style vacuum. When they left, I started to notice the accumulation of dust and dirt on the floors and walls of my home, and a dusty smell that was pervasive throughout my home. Fortunately, I hadn't allowed them to mask the odor with any freshening powders or products. I immediately called the company and insisted that they send over a manager, so "Warren" came by that evening. He thought the dust was unfortunate and offered to send over a cleaning woman to deal with it or give me a $300 discount on the $2300 service charge. We couldn't wait another day, so my wife and I spent the next 6 hours vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing and laundering the entire home and contents. We were able to sleep that night (with fresh linens), and continued cleaning and laundering for several more hours the next morning. A few days later, it was obvious that more dust was still blowing out of the registers. PURE ECO may have successfully removed relatively heavy dirt and silt from my ductwork, but the small (maybe 2.5" diameter) vacuum hose used by the team was incapable of trapping all the duct debris that their power brush was raising up. The remaining residual dust would end up blowing around every time the AC unit started up. The mistakes made by PURE ECO are inexcusable. Ensuring that freshly cleaned equipment is sent to personal residences should be a primary focus, and it's obviously not. This team arrived in a filthy personal pickup truck...no corporate ID signage, nothing professional at all. Their equipment and clothes were filthy. They likely just came from an under-house or other dirty environment. I was stunned but still had hopes that everything would work out since the YELP reviews were so positive. I should have sent them away immediately upon arrival. We learned our lesson. Be warned, if you're allowing PURE ECO workers into your home, make sure they arrive polished and ready for work. Check out their equipment and verify all filters and hoses are clean...make them show you everything. Insist that they keep the vacuum machine outside your house and have them route only clean hoses inside. This company has no performance standards or controlled processes for Duct Cleaning whatsoever, so the workers are allowed to make choices that negatively impact the end result. The use of an inadequate vacuum setup and a clogged machine caused me a lot of cleanup work, and questionable duct condition. An expensive lesson! read more

We used Pure Eco to have our old attic insulation removed, have all the gaps in the wallboard and lighting thoroughly sealed with spray foam, and have new fiberglass bats installed. They did a great job, and now our upstairs doesn't get nearly as hot as it once did. The workers were happy to go over spots that I noticed they had missed (it was a big job) and I was very happy with the quality of the job. Eli in particular was also great - giving us an excellent price (we compared to several other companies) and staying in communication throughout the process, including when we wanted to make some changes. If I could give this company negative stars, I would. My family and I are all about second chances, however this company has failed at every turn. Sales rep - aggressive communication, was told we could not cancel because they "already purchased the supplies" (nothing related to this job was customized, that is, the insulation they purchased can be utilized for future jobs), team that arrived to complete the job took pics of the interior of our home and took pics of the finished product (in the attic), they did NOT provide any pics of the prior conditions (which was promised during the sales pitch). At the time of completion (in MAY), we were told they did NOT complete two lighting fixture seals and that they would come back. After TWO MONTHS of requesting pictures of the prior conditions and asking when they would schedule to complete the remaining seals, they scheduled and told us the window was between 12-5pm (second appt scheduled in AUGUST). On the day of the second appt. they informed us of the arrival window being at 4-5pm, only to arrive at 5:50pm and their crew sat in their truck past 6pm. We approached and asked about timing because we had an appt scheduled for 7pm and they provided no answers, literally stayed quiet. After asking if they were going to start any time soon or how long the process was going to be, the team, simply said we "should reschedule." Do not waste your money with this company. read more

I had initially called Pure Eco to address an issue with heat in the attic seeping down through 17 LED can lights installed in the kitchen. Beni came to see my attic that had blown in fiberglass with blown in cellulose on top that did a really good job of insulating the house with the exception of the can lights that had been recently installed in the kitchen. I had read really good reviews about Pure Eco and trusted that what his recommendations were. The proposal included removing all of the old attic insulation, air sealing, recessed light covers, radiant barrier and R-38 fiberglass batts. Even though my initial concern was just fixing the problem in the kitchen, from living in this house for the past 37 years and knowing that the attic had some old dirty insulation under the cellulose I went for his recommendation. When the working crew showed they were very hard working from making sure the floor and walls were protected before starting the removal phase. I was really anxious to feel how much of a difference the upcoming Inland Empire Summer would be with all of the home Improvements that Pure Eco was performing in the month of October. It's now mid August that I waited on to write this review, my home is now worse off than before. The kitchen problem with the can lights is still letting heat into the kitchen, and now the entire inside perimeter ceiling about 1 1/2' from the walls gets hot and radiates into the entire home. I texted Beni to let him know what was going on. His response was to keep the A/C on to keep the home cool. Well...I do have the thermostat set at 80 deg's during the day and drop it down to 78 in the early evening. I just received my Edison bill and it's twice the amount of last years bill for the same time period. I also called Pure Eco to have them send a crew to fix the problems. They sent out Sergio with a helper. Sergio went into the attic and after coming down said it's very hot and that it was impossible to get to all of the kitchen can lights due to the pitch of the roof and recommended having a mushroom fan installed. My roof was replaced about 7 years ago and the 3 whirlybirds were replaced with 9 hagen type roof vents for a house that's only 1140 square feet. I texted Beni that same evening that Sergio came out and haven't heard a reply in 2 weeks. What a big disappointment to have spent a large chunk out of retirement savings to have this. No I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. Their motto, "You save Money, We save Energy! really sounds good if it were true !!! read more

We originally contacted Pure Eco and two other companies to rid us of rats in our attic. One company never showed to provide a quote while the other quoted us $750, but it would take 3 reoccurring visits in biweekly increments to rid us of rats. However, the 30 day guarantee would only be valid if we used their contractor (third party company) to redo insulation, costing an additional $5,500. Pure Eco was different as they provided both the new insulation and guaranteed riding us of rats in the attic for 6-months. No third party was needed. Additionally, Pure Eco is bonded and insured. Now, I did run into a snag with Benny (sales rep) after the job was completed because 200 sq ft of our attic was not insulated. But in the end I still give 5 stars because of those who corrected the problem with flying colors. After getting past the back-n-forth with Benny, I believe Jasmin was the first person whom I spoke with to have the job completed. Then there was Izabela working diligently with me to get a crew to come back and complete the job. With my schedule I'm only available on Mondays and Fridays and she was able to schedule a crew to come back to the house. She rocks!!! And kudos to Armando and Nazario who not only completed job, but fixed a couple small patches that were missed first time around. If I'm able to edit this later I will post pictures. read more

After searching for a while for the right spray foam installation company for my crawl space, I came across Pure Eco because of their great reviews. I decided to call them and the lady that answer the phone scheduled an appointment with Beni, the sales rep, to come out and give me an estimate. For years, I've been having problems with mold and mildew growing on my wall because of the moisture keeps coming into my house through the crawl space during winter time causing mold and mildew to grow on my wall which is why I finally decided to get insulation for my house this year. So I met up with Beni the next day and he was very professional and knowledgeable, telling me what I need to install for my crawl space to keep moisture out and not continue to have issues with mold/mildew growing inside, causing me and my son's allergies to worsen over the years. He suggested I install R-19 fiberglass and vapor barrier and also suggest to air seal all the holes and gaps to prevent any further moisture going inside the crawl space. After giving me an estimate on the same day, I thought the price was pretty reasonable for all the work that they're doing so I decided to go with their company. Beni also showed me pictures of how the result would look like after the work is done. So the next day, the project manager Armando came out with his crew and started on the job. After 1 day of hard work inside the crawling space, they did a fantastic job and clean up everything afterwards. Armando was very professional and answered all the questions that I needed to know. The next day they also emailed me pictures of the work before and after the installation, and did installed all the stuff that was promised to me. They managed to cleaned up everything inside the crawling space before starting the installation and sent me alot of pictures of the before and after photos of the project. The next day, I did feel that my house is much warmer, especially right after the rain. I can really feel the difference when walking on my wood floor and tile floor, which feels a lot less cold. As a result, I feel I am compelled to write this review because of Beni, Armando, and his crew, who did a very amazing job for my crawl space and I don't think I'll ever have to deal with this mold/mildew problem ever again, so thank you so much Pure Eco for finally solving my problem! read more

I was remodeling a 2000 sqf house and needed to have new insulation required to pass inspection. I found pure eco on yelp and left a message. I received a prompt response and met up with Eric the next day. Right from the start I saw I was dealing with a professional. Eric knew all the requirements and even offered additional solutions for sounds proofing the kids room and the guest house. I was on a tight schedule with inspections and the deadlines I have for the completion of my project. Eric was able to work with my schedule and promised we will be ready for inspection on time. Rudy and the crew showed up to preform the job. They were very polite and respectful. We had wall insulation, attic insulation and sound proofing for a 2000 sqf house and a 400 sqf guest house in less than 2 days! Needless to say that we passed the inspection with no problems. I asked one of them to preform a rodent abatement and they found and sealed 3 holes. The problem continued so I hired Pure Eco Inc. Eric the sales rep was excellent in explaining what they can offer and gave me very reasonable prices. Pure Eco guys found 5 other holes that were missed by the previous company. Pure Eco installed a radiant barrier in our attic, and an exhaust fan (to pull hot air out of the attic, when its temperature reaches 92 degrees). Their quote was competitive, and to our eyes it looks very good--thorough coverage with the radiant barrier material and very neatly installed. The two installers seemed very knowledgeable---and they were happy to explain everything they did with photos that they took throughout their installation process. New air ducts have also been installed to replace the old moldy ones. Jacob has been very attentive to my requests as a customer and has worked to make sure that our needs are met. We needed to change our 46 years old HVAC system, replace our ducts and put in new insulation. We talked to about 20 different companies with and got estimates. It was very exhausting and expensive. We decided to replace the insulation first with Pure Eco Inc. They gave us the best price, without any hidden fees. It took them one day to remove old insulation, clean the whole attic and install new R-38 fiberglass batts. Any questions we had, it got answered right away by Kim or Eric. We were very happy with the insulation job, so we asked them if they also do work on ducts & HVAC replacement. Kim said that they can get any brand we want and she was very confident that they can beat all of the companies we had before. She was very knowledge and honest from day one, no hidden fees, no upscaling prices! She did give us the best prices, she even beat Costco. For the first time we were excited: we were getting the brand WE wanted without any pressure and for a great price! When I did call, the technician told me he has to reschedule because he is at a shop.
