I find this to be one of the better "build your own poke bowl" type establishments i have been to in Tucson. The ingredients are vibrant and the choices are excellent. The flavors are fresh and the staff are friendly. My only complaint is that the prices are HIGH. By far my most favorite poke place in Tucson. They have a wide variety of options and their fish tastes fresh. I've been there twice and have been extremely satisfied both times. They are a bit pricer than other poke items, but it's definitely worth your money. They do not skimp out on toppings. Ordered online. It's not cheap, but the food was very tasty. It was ready when I walked in the door which is always good. We're trying to be a bit more healthy and their menu fills the bill. I had the momo tuna with just fish and vegetables. I got extra garlic sauce because I can and I'm old and I don't care about my breath anymore. It was great. I'd for sure order it again. Kathy liked her cooked shrimp bowl because she's a wuss who doesn't like raw fish and was quite pleased that there were options of cooked fish for wimps like her. So delicious! First time I visited today and won't be my last. Great service. I have to eat gluten free and the server was helpful in showing me all available gf options. Highly recommend Pure Poke. This place was great. It was a little pricey, but the price correlated to the food quality. Everything was fantastic. Backwards hat guy behind the counter (shame on me for not getting your name) was awesome. He greeted us when we came in, helped us with ordering, explained options, and was patient with us while we made decisions. The food quality was great. The fish was fresh, the veggies were fresh, the flavors were great, and the beer options were plentiful. The portions were huge! The restaurant was immaculate. The music was audible to disrupt any sense of monotony, but not disruptive of table conversations. The only fault of this restaurant is that it's not closer to home. I highly recommend this place for any occasion. The food was priced well (again, given high quality of the food), the staff were on point, and the restaurant was clean. Tried all three poke restaurants in the past week. Lemonshark, Pure, and Jimmy's. Pure definitely stood out to me. Starting with the variety of flavors they offer with the salmon, all which are pretty tasty. The selection of toppings here are expansive and all taste very fresh! The rice was recently made and the servings were hefty. The first downside is that I personally feel that their prices are a bit high in comparison to the other two. My other complaint is the cut of the fish pieces. Way too chunky and takes away from the flavor because you're not really getting a perfect bite of everything. Found out about this place through a coupon flyer that came in the mail. (But alas! Forgot to bring in the flyer with me when purchasing). Generous portions, fresh fresh veggies and its wide selection of sides are what sets this place apart from the others for me. House-made, unique sauces - momo, kahuku, haole, just to name a few. Would recommend checking out their menu online first before going in to avoid the deer-in-headlights look your server asks you if you want wasabi on the side with your momo tuna next to your haole salmon. Another pro-tip - as tempting as it is to put EVERYTHING in said poke bowl (it IS as many toppings as you want included in the price, with a few exceptions) it is better to start of with a basic few flavors/toppings before hog wild with their haole. Been here both times mid to late afternoon, and while the protein selection may not be as plentiful or as "sparkly" looking as earlier in the day, I've always been satisfied with the portions and the flavors. Its location next to the walk/bike path is also great, if you feel you've pigged out on poke... but this is merely seafood and veggies, people. The process is similar to Chipotle as you put together your bowl with rice or noodles or greens, choose a protein. They are delicious but unfortunately their prices are misleading, a build your own poke bowl is marked as $12 but you are required to add a almost $3 protein option (even the tofu is $3 which is about the cost of a whole block elsewhere) so why not just call it $15? I placed an online order, wanting something fresh & easy for a cold New Year's Day. The website is clean-looking & easy to read. There were a couple of discrepancies between the homepage menu & the online ordering system (homepage lists seaweed salad as an up-charge, online order does not - etc.), but fairly easy to click through. Toppings are unlimited, but then there's a section for 'additional toppings' with upsell fees - so I suppose if you want double portions/extra of something you can add-on that way. There's no parking directly in front of the storefront - you have to park on either side of the strip-building & walk over. The interior was spacious and bright enough to be welcoming - not cavernous nor fluorescent. Seating seemed average - table, plastic chairs. But everything looked so clean! The staff were toward the back, but immediately came up when they heard the bell ring as I opened the door. Very friendly & efficient service. They keep your order in 1 of the fridges to ensure freshness, which I appreciate! I don't like questioning how long my fish has been sitting on a counter... The portion was more than filling. I only ordered 1 protein, which was good - I could have stood to pay a little extra for a 2nd scoop in order to have some fish in every bite. I love any place that allows you a good variety of toppings and doesn't charge you for every piece you want in your bowl! Some poke bowls I've had are mostly rice with just a sprinkling of fish & veggies, which doesn't often seem worth the pricing - but this was a very well-plated set of ingredients! I chose 2 of the sauces, & the amount was perfect - enough for flavor throughout but not overpowering, nor was the food totally drowning in dressing. I only started with more traditional poke ingredients, so I can't say how flavorful they get with their sauces & seasonings, but it seems promising! Not very good. They were in training. The fish was fresh but the prepared fish was tasteless. I had one scoop of Haole Poke tuna, one scoop of Momona Poke salmon. There was hardly any sauce and The sauce was just okay. Then I added crab which was additional. In Hawaii you get either a scoop of macaroni salad or crab salad with the rice and poke My husband and I were in line together and a nice young lady took my husbands order which was a lovely portioned bowl. Mine was made by a trainee. I had hardly any fish and my husband had a beautiful bowl filled with fish. This isn't real poke it's just like a chipotle but with fish and rice. The crab was just shredded and no flavor. They had no macaroni salad like true Hawaiian poke. Chef driven means nothing when no flavor and small portions are more important we spent $36 on lunch in a fast food joint. read more

There's not much to choose from in regards to the protein they offer. Really all you get is salmon (prepared 4 different ways) and Tuna (prepared 4 different ways no spicy tuna) then there is shrimp, octopus, and tofu but they're an extra charge. I guess if you like only salmon and tuna this is a 10/10 place for you. But there's no albacore, no traditional spicy tuna, no yellow tail, not even eel. I don't know maybe I'm just too used to having a bigger selection of fish. read more
