There's nothing like Korean BBQ. I haven't encountered any bad choices and PZK is no exception. From the bulgogi to the short ribs, brisket and pork belly. It was delicious, affordable and a staple memory in our latest LA visit for sure! Stop by when you get some time. The place is fairly spacious, typical comfortable level of restaurant seating. The hosts were generous, accommodating and helpful making sure our drinks were refilled and that the service met standards. Would definitely visit again!

We returned for a second time, like the first the service was great. We ordered option A this time of which we had the boneless short rib, both spicy and plain brisket, smoked and plain pork belly, spicy rice cake and vegetable gyoza. This time we got a little spice in the brisket and a little in the rice cake which was nice, it may not be the level of spice we are accustomed to but it was good. Our favorites this evening were definitely the pork belly, which we enjoyed with a requested side of sesame oil and the salt. We also enjoyed the marinated boneless short rib. I feel like we narrowed down the things we enjoy here and am happy we gave it another try. We will be back.

This kbbq was walking distance from our apartment (which is a huge plus) AND all you can eat!! It was $33.99 per person for option A which was such a good deal. We had sooo much meat. My fav was ofc the bulgogi but we also got short rib and brisket which I loved. The kimchi fried rice was yum too. My friend and I shared the soy bean paste soup which was one of my fav things. We also got pork belly and teriyaki chicken. I've never had teriyaki chicken at a kbbq place but it was actually really good. Loved all the banchan too and the service was great! They were always happy to bring us whatever we needed which I appreciated. It was a casual restaurant which was nice and fun with a big group (there were 6 of us). I definitely would come back!! Terra beer + sake also great combo

I have been to PZK a good amount of times now. I have never been disappointed in the great quality and service! They have some of the best brisket and marinated boneless short rib! It's a chill vibe and always a great time.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Previous reviews I read before coming in seemed a bit mixed, but I had an overall great experience. My friends and I showed up on a Friday night and it was actually pretty empty. The wait staff were all really nice and attentive, and also switched out our grill pretty frequently. The food was a steal. We went with option B so we could get filet mignon and short rib, and man were both of these so good. Their kimchi was also really tasty. Overall good vibes and good food, I would definitely come back if I lived in the area!

Jimmy always make sure we have a great experience. I love the steaks and brisket here and especially the service. They change the heating plate very frequently to make sure the food is fresh and ambiance is nice.

Decent spot for AYCE KBBQ outside of Ktown. We opted for the slightly pricier Option B, which is worth it for the inclusion of the galbi. The selection of banchan was okay - don't forget to ask for kimchi, which they do not serve automatically. The space is on the smaller side, and the smoke from the grill is not well-cleared from the table so sometimes the smoke blows into your face. Service was fine, they were quick to change our grill as needed.

This is by far my favorite Korean BBQ in LA. It's rare to find a place this affordable to indulge in whatever you want! They have amazing steak (I recommend the prime steak and beef bulgogi), amazing chicken, amazing pork, and great sides! They are very generous with their sides, and the portions of the food are perfect. I am usually skeptical of the ramen served at places like these but I LOVE ordering their spicy Korean ramen on one of the rounds. If you're with like 2-3 people, expect to go to max 3 rounds if you're ordering 3-4 meats each round. It's the perfect time frame, perfect portions, perfect pricing, and perfect environment to get your moneys worth (and a full belly)! This is the only place I'll go to. I highly recommend. The staff is beyond kind as well and very attentive to your needs and changing out your hot plates every round. Also a great place to go to spontaneously, they always have a table open! Never too crowded.

The food here was decent, but the service was honestly terrible and ruined the experience. We came in when the place wasn't even packed, but the servers were rude and clearly didn't care. They kept forgetting to bring out items we ordered and when we asked for more sides, they literally refused and said, "When you finish, you get more." Not exactly the all-you-can-eat vibe. To top it off, the young waiter man had the nerve to confront me about my tip at the end. I left $5 on a $116 bill (around $130 with tax) because the service was so mediocre and slow. He got mad and told me that's less than 10% and only for takeout orders, not dine-in. I told him he's lucky I even tipped at all given how bad the service was, and he still had an attitude like I owed him for forgetting half our stuff. Food was good but definitely not worth putting up with rude, entitled staff and sloppy service. There are plenty of better KBBQ spots in LA - I won't be back.

Super good kbbq, some of the best quality meats I've had. There was virtually no fatty bits that were hard to chew, or anything like that. The staff was super locked in, was changing our grills constantly without us asking even once. The side dishes were fantastic, especially the japchae (Hope that's spelt right) and the fish cakes. I also loved the marinated beef tongue and the marinated fillet mignon. The mignon was straight up like eating butter, so tender. Melts in your mouth. Didn't feel crowded at all, just a nice vibe with some fun Korean music. May be my go to kbbq place when I'm in town. Absolutely great place.

Good late night spot for KBBQ. Reasonably priced, good service, meat quality is good.

What seemed like a deceptively simple bowl was one of the most delicious and flavorful meals I've had - I'll be thinking about my bowl for a long time. I got the plain kalgaksu, mainly because it included pork potstickers. The anchovy broth isn't fishy (which I was concerned about), it's deep and full in a way that's hard to describe. It penetrates the noodles and potatoes well. The broth is similar if not the same between most bowl types. The cold noodles were also delicious, which a couple of my friends ordered. Quite large portions, as just about everyone had to take some home. They also have bibimbap if you're craving a rice based meal instead. I can't wait to come back - maybe not on a Saturday night next time so I don't have to look so long for parking!

I really wanted authentic Korean food that was not kbbq and not tofu and this place delivered! This restaurant is in a small strip mall. The strip mall has other Korean food options. They have a valet parking system of sorts but we didn't pay, we self parked. The attendant told us we were fine. It was approx 9pm when we arrived and also a week night. I have no idea how much valet parking is here. We were a small party of two. Upon arrival, we were notified they were out of RICE. Um..what?? That's a good problem (for them to have) but not for consumers. I feel this really limited our options to just soup. I honestly didn't want soup but there wasn't much else we could order. The bowls were large and came out piping hot. It was a satisfying meal and not too heavy. The price point was on the pricey side. Our waiter told us business has not been the same post covid. Some dishes are between $40-$60. I asked for a soup and they were able to make it less spicy. My friend got a soup with dumplings in it. He put a good amount of soy sauce to give the broth some life. Also, the banchan is on point. We asked for a refill and devoured the second portions. If you wanna impress friends with Korean food, bring them here! Its a casual place.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.
