This was how I received my burrito today. Poor girl had no idea how to wrap a burrito. She folded in half and rolled it long ways like a pair of socks. It was also very wet. I made a comment to the cashier and he shrugged. People behind me all ordered bowls after what they witnessed. I had to unroll it and use a fork to eat it it just didn't taste good. Usually have a good experience there but this really turned me off so I'll be going down the road for my burritos.

If ONLY I could give no stars, this whole experience was utterly ridiculous. I ordered a burrito and everything was going great, but when she started to put the topping on I noticed the toppings were all in clumps, nothing was spread out. The burrito it self felt soggy and not very put together. The bread tasted dated, and the cashier did not even know what she was doing ringing me and then my friend up separately. Then proceeded to tell the make line girl that she had given me her queso, to then which I was not given a new one. To even eat my burrito I had to use a fork and even the chips were stale. On top of all of this the entire establishment was not very well unkept, and most of which of it was dirty. Yes, that red giant "chip" was a tomato in my burrito.

The workers are friendly and the food is delicious. We were out running errands and decided Qdoba was perfect for a quick lunch. I got the three cheese chicken nachos with chips on the side. Paired with a Diet Coke Lime. #perfection

My brisket bowl was good. A lot of flavor but we had to eat with SPOONS. They had no forks in the place. We suggested that someone run down to the dollar store & get forks, the girl just smiled.

I actually really like Qudoba as a chain. I've been to quite a few of their locations in other cities and they have always been pleasant. Polite workers, good food, and clean locations. However, this location is the worst I've ever been to. I've been here several times and the employees are always rude. The restaurant is often dirty, not always but I often have to clean my own table when I'm there. The biggest problem is that the employees are just poorly trained and can't perform basic pieces of making a burrito. I always have to reroll my burrito and often have to remove some of the ingredients when they add a huge amount of onions or cilantro. I also often ask for salsa on the side because of this and they have tried to charge me extra for it several times. Also, this is a small issue but they never fill the salsa containers full when I get chips on the side. This time my salsa container was around 1/3rd of the way full after I paid extra for chips and salsa.

So normally I love Qdoba but today they failed. We bought two entrees, a burrito bowl and chicken protein bowl. At the register I asked to add a side of chips. She said that will be .80 cents is that ok? I said of course. This is what I got. I could see if that was all I ordered but given I could have gotten the three cheese nachos with the same things in it for the same price And a paper sack of chips. This was just shameful.

    Hair in food bowl.

You just can't beat the fresh meat at Qdoba's. My family eats here at least one a week.

It's clear the restaurant is thriving under the new management that took over in November. They are doing a fantastic job! One of the standout items was the in-house homemade chorizo, which is easily the best I've ever had. The street tacos were absolutely to die for. The cabeza especially took me by surprise in the best way. The meat was rich, tender, and incredibly flavorful. They even brought me an extra spicy salsa upon request, which was delicious and clearly made with care. And of course, the margaritas went down smooth and easy. The perfect pairing with such great food. Between the lively atmosphere, thoughtful service, and standout dishes, Viva La Fiesta is definitely a place I will be coming back to.

On a Friday evening there was only one other table there, which should have been our first clue. The food took so long to come out I thought they might be growing the ingredients out back. The chips tasted like they came straight from a family-size bag at the grocery store, and the chimichanga had all the excitement of a tax form. The lettuce tasted like it was reminiscing about fresher days. My husband ordered a soda and was handed a bottle, apparently unlimited refills are now considered a luxury item. We went for my husband's birthday dinner and left wishing we'd celebrated at a gas station taqueria instead. I understand rising costs due to the economy, but you can tell this place is nowhere what it use to be, from a year ago. Quality has gone downhill. The only reason this review gets two stars is because the server was friendly. Won't be back, too many other options to choose from in the area. Hasta la vista baby.
