Just WOW! My search for the best Tex-Mex is over because…read morethis is the spot. I was greeted and sat immediately on entering and even at 12:30 with the place packed it was spotless. They brought a large basket of perfectly crispy, warm chips with salsa and took my order. I got the #15 lunch special which is your choice of two enchiladas (I got sour cream chicken), rice and beans. The food was served quickly and at the perfect temperature. My enchiladas were bursting with chicken and the sour cream sauce was the perfect compliment. The rice was excellent as well. Even the iced tea is great, and featured a legit lemon slice. They have a full bar which I'll be trying on my next visit and two large TVs set where you can see one or both from any seat in the dining room. I told my server she's going to get sick of seeing me because I'll be here at least twice a week! Service was excellent by the way. My tea was even refilled without having to ask. It was a 10 star meal!

They were all very tender and crispy on the outside. We also ordered a street taco dinner plate, which came with three tacos with proteins of our choice. We decided to go for a combination of beef, chicken, and pork. They were all delicious, but we liked the pork the most. It was moist and tender. We concluded the meal with some puffy sopaipillas. They were really good too! Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We enjoyed both the food and the service, and the lively vibe as well. We'll definitely come back. But next time we'll try to get there a little earlier to avoid the long wait.

Heard about this place when attending a camp in Austin, didn't have time to try it there but decided to stop by when I saw it in Plano-Best decision I have ever made. Qdoba is like Chipotle's better twin. Now don't get me wrong Chipotle is still one of my favorites but, come one, who doesn't love free queso AND guac. Definitely will be coming again! read more

Terrible customer service. They're rushing and unorganized. Trying to do mobile orders while they have a long line waiting and only one person is on each station. The menu features photos of the items and let me tell ya, the items always look exactly as they are pictured. You never have to order "extra" anything because you always get the exact item from the picture. One of my favorite items is the excellent Taco Salad. It's in a deep fried flour tortilla bowl with all the taco fixins and salsa. I love this because it always tastes fresh and it's such a hearty portion, I can make 2 meals out of it. Everything I've ever tried at Taco Casa has been great, so it's pretty safe to say you could close your eyes and randomly choose something and you'd be happy with it. A lot of care is taken when packing the orders in the drive-thru so extra kudos for that attention to detail. Also, TC is a great value. Their prices are reasonable to begin with but they have "Frijole Fridays" where you can get a bean burrito, frijoles or a tostada for $1.49! This location also has a QR code you can scan in the drive-thru to get location-specific deals sent to you via text. Overall, Taco Casa is an unbelievable value with an excellent product.
