    Cortado and hot chocolate.
    Natalie G.

Friendly staff, who made an excessive amount of hot chocolate for our larger group of kids in a timely manner! I love the taste of their espresso, I got a cortado which was smooth and creamy. I was excited to find they had a location in West Seattle, I usually go to the one closer to me. The place had a good sized seating area, and a huge collection of plants which added to the ambiance. Parking is a bit hard in this area a lot of the street parking was full.

My cousin and I were in the area after a neighborhood walk, and before we headed into the heart of Seattle for museum time. There is plenty of seating and tables to comfortably sip, and work on your laptop if needed. The large windows, lots of real plants, and laidback lounge areas and seating made the café really welcoming and inviting. My cousin ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a matcha latte with oatmilk and a pump of sugar free vanilla. If you order "for here" you get your drink in an actual tea/coffee cup. There is something about drinking from a real up in a coffee shop that somehow slows your day down. My matcha was perfect, my barista made it exactly to order how I asked. Not too sweet! There are restrooms available for guests only, and you can sip and lounge while you chat. It's a cool and comfortable café that isn't too noisy or loud, and is the perfect balance of calm and invigorating. Great coffee and tea!

Great quality coffee and the breakfast burrito was delicious! The staff are very friendly and dog friendly. Love stopping by on my morning dog walks.

This isn't close to where I live but it's. near my doctor's office so I always come by when I'm in the neighborhood. It's a quiet, comfortable space with tall windows and lots of beautifully cared-for plants. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great. Even the customers all seem cool. :-) They are also queer-friendly --it's a rare place in Seattle that's not, but in this day and age it's nice to see it reiterated.

It is a hidden gem in west Seattle. The coffee is always consistent and great. It's a very welcoming and peaceful place with plants around, a puppy cookies jar, and a basket with books. The food is really... very yummy and with good values! A $6 yummy breakfast sandwich?! Their burritos are very flavorful too.

Cute place, love the vibe and plants, bright space. Coffee was good, iced latte had good coffee flavor, other places it's watered down and more milk flavor. Breakfast sandwich was good, loved the fresh greens and tomato. Only thing I'd wish for was cheese on it. Nice slice of cheddar it would be near perfect. Staff was nice. Also the credit card reader worked fine. It's a standard Square terminal and tip amounts were typical. It's silly to leave a one star review for a place where the problem was user error. You can easily leave no tip if you want, they don't even hover over you while finishing the transaction, they're too busy making your order.

Nice to know they have in-house made options for syrups and sugar free ones also. Quick service. Wish there were more food options.

As a coffee lover, I love to try out different coffee from different countries. When I saw the Bean…read moreBox "World Coffee Tour" that is exactly what I wanted! 12 bags (1.8oz each) of coffee from around the world. I have options to choose whole bean or ground coffee. BEAN BOX: WHERE LIMA BEAN DREAMS BECOME REALITY (DESPITE BEING A COFFEE SHOP)…read more Listen, while others might come here expecting just coffee beans, let me tell you about their REVOLUTIONARY approach to lima bean curation. Their selection of these flat, buttery legumes is so extensive it makes other coffee shops look like they're not even trying in the lima bean department (which, to be fair, they're not, because they're coffee shops). Their premium Giant White Lima collection (displayed with the reverence usually reserved for rare coffee beans) is housed in custom-made glass jars that make other beans question their life choices. Each lima bean is positioned to catch the morning light like tiny, kidney-shaped supermodels. You haven't lived until you've seen their Christmas Lima Bean display (completely overshadowing their holiday coffee blends). The variegated patterns on these heirloom limas tell a story that makes their single-origin Ethiopian beans seem downright chatty at parties. The rare Fordhook Lima section (inexplicably placed next to their pour-over station) features beans so perfectly formed that customers often mistake them for small sculptures. I once saw someone try to order a lima bean latte. The barista's confusion was palpable, but their lima bean organization remained impeccable. Their rotating seasonal lima bean exhibit (which takes up prime real estate that could be used for, oh, I don't know, COFFEE) includes varieties like the Baby Lima, Henderson Bush, and the elusive King of the Garden Lima. Each one is labeled with tasting notes, as if someone's going to conduct a lima bean cupping session. Five stars for their commitment to showcasing these underappreciated legumes in a space clearly designed for coffee retail. I've started a weekly lima bean appreciation club where we gather to admire their collection while confused coffee customers try to order lattes around us. P.S. I heard someone suggest they should focus more on coffee beans, and the lima bean display case audibly gasped. P.P.S. Their limited edition Jackson Wonder Lima beans are stored in a climate-controlled case that probably cost more than most cars. The security system seems excessive, but who am I to question lima bean protection protocols? Note: This review was written while contemplating the bold choice of dedicating so much space to lima beans in a coffee shop on 1st Avenue South. The courage. The vision. The complete disregard for traditional coffee shop inventory expectations. Special Addendum: To the customer who asked why there were lima beans in the coffee grinder - you clearly don't understand the ARTISTRY of cross-legume innovation. Final Thought: Sure, they might technically be a "coffee shop," but their lima bean game is stronger than a triple shot espresso. It's like they misread "coffee house" as "legume palace" and just ran with it. Remember: Coffee beans may come and go, but lima beans are forever. Or at least until someone finally explains to them what kind of beans coffee shops typically sell. P.P.P.S. Their new "Lima Bean of the Month" subscription service is revolutionary, even if it's causing significant confusion among their coffee subscribers.

My first thought getting in here was: how do they have so much real estate in here yet still make it relaxing to stay and do your WFH stuff in? It's wide, there's tons of tables and seating, and the menu - though a little hard to read since it's behind the counter. Music isn't too loud either so even more relaxing! Staff were quick in making drinks, or just long enough so you can enjoy the calming effects of the overall surroundings. I got their purple rain, which has ube hints, juniper, espresso and whole milk. This is one of their summer drinks but they still use their own brand of coffee for this one. Strong and crisp coffee here while the ube is brought out just enough to not be covered completely by the coffee. It's a sweet, soothing layer with whole milk added to make the drink a little thicker and uniform with the coffee. I felt like I was getting a sip and smell of the outside leaves with the juniper as well, so a ton of feelings in one cup that I downed in less than 3 minutes! I will come back to try their straight-up coffee drinks!
