I'm visiting from out of town, so I am always looking good places to eat! Out of all the hotpot places I've been to here, this might the spot that I'll be visiting again. Food was solid. There was a plethora of food options and broth to choose from. I appreciate that they don't charge extra for their additional broths (you can choose up to 3). Their golden chicken broth was soooo my fave! The restaurant was spacious and the whole vibe was awesome!! Our server Noah was the ABSOLUTE best!! Customer service makes up half the experience and he honestly made our night. He was quick, knowledgeable, and attentive with a very position attitude. Good way to end Sunday evening!!

My new favorite à la carte hotpot spot! Came here on a Friday evening with reservations and was greeted and seated right away. The overall ambiance is very clean, modern, with good music playing. One thing I noticed however is that there were very many unbussed tables in there. We ordered three broths and various meats. I like how you can get literally three different broths and not be charged extra lol. My favorite was the Thai tom yum. The tom yum flavor was subtle, but good. Each meat was absolutely incredible. My favorite one was by far the freshly cut short ribs. It was sooo good, buttery sort of, and melt in your mouth. The sauce bar was good too, I like how the sauce bar wasn't an extra charge as well. Only things I wasn't a fan of is how hot it was in the restaurant. I was sweating so much lol. Also I wasn't a big fan of the appetizer options they had, but the desserts were solid. Definitely coming back!

The food is delicious, and we really enjoyed it. They serve an authentic spicy Sichuan broth, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. If you like traditional Sichuan flavors, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Literally everytime I come to Seattle, I stay at the Grand Hyatt so I get convenient access to this hot pot place! Broths- I love the golden chicken broth, it's super hearty and it just feels good to sip on this! The last time I was here I was pretty sick, so this broth brought me back to life. I also really fancy the mushroom broth, super umami and flavorful Meats- short rib 1000/10 this is my favorite meat from this spot, you really taste the quality and it truly melts in your mouth! It's not super thin like paper and it still has a good chew to it. This is a must get meat! flat iron 8/10 still high quality and it's a classic meat for hotpot! they give you lots and it's affordable for a good sized portion of meat Sauce bar- they have a variety of sauce condiments, sides, and a small dessert bar which is awesome! This is an additional fee but so worth it Chinese donuts- this is a must order side dish I always get, dip it in the golden chicken broth sauce and it's the perfect bite. They make it fresh and I love when it's piping hot and crispy and the perfect amount of oil that coats your lips they also have candy you can grab on your way out! a bonus and must grab. Love this place honestly and I live in the Bay Area, home of amazing Chinese hot pot so for me to rate this high is a great sign LOLOL

this is one of my favorite restaurants in seattle. hands down. full stop. it is also one of the best bang for your buck hot pot restaurants in Seattle. here are some things that make qiao lin standout: 1. all soup bases regardless of if you do one or three is $18.95 (the competitor across the street could never) 2. the sauce bar is very full and the side dishes gets changed up pretty often. i have seen chicken feet, pig ears, all the types of fruits, sesame balls, cream puffs, etc. 3. golden chicken broth with collagen is incredibly rich, flavorful and unique to qiaolin the food is always so good, servers are kind, and the energy is bustling inside! went back tonight and got noah who was one of the kindest and positive server there was. he was clearly busy but did everything w a smile and checked in on me and my bf multiple times. and took a picture for us!

Qiao Lin accommodated our late night dining request and while the staff were no doubt ready to head home they stayed and made our dinner fabulous. This was my first hotpot experience and I'm so glad it was at Qiao Lin. Service was super fast and the display of food was thoughtful and well done. There was a large amount of food selections and I would definitely return to try more. We thought being soo late it would be mostly empty but there were a few parties left in the room we were in. It was clear this is a fun, casual place that also gave a high end restaurant feel to a do it yourself style experience.

I enjoyed my experience at Qiao Lin! It was my first time trying hotpot, and it was very fun. The menu had so many options to choose from which is great - all the items we ordered were very yummy. The broths themselves were also delicious - I really loved the flavor of the tomato and mushroom broths. The place has a cool ambience and has nice decor - it feels comfortable and authentic. The service was great - our server was so lovely. It was a very unique experience, I enjoyed it!

Food - High quality, well presented meats and veggies. A nice selection of soup bases that are well balanced. Free ice cream included and sauce bar included. Sauce bar sometimes has good cream puffs. Next to the sauce bar is a snack bar so if you're feeling snackish while waiting for your pot to heat up, you can grab some. Service - Always fairly fast service and you order via a server. Sometimes there's a wait, there's a waiting area in the back that's connected to the Hyatt. Sauce bar as mentioned earlier is free and included. Lots to choose from at the sauce bar and it is self service. Ambiance - A nice place to take a date, it's not too loud, and the booths are separated enough where you feel like you have your own space. I love their hanging decor. It is well lit, so if you're going for more of a dim-lit date vibe, this is not the right fit.

One of my favorite hot pot places in Seattle! My favorite hotpot base ever is from Qiaolin and it is the Golden Chicken Collagen Broth -- it is healthy and so flavorful and rich! I also love getting their meter beef combo because it is reasonably priced. Their sauce bar is also great because not only does it offer just sauces, it has small delicious desserts and appetizers as well! Our server Noah was also such an amazing and attentive server that he took care of all of our needs from aprons, hair ties to clarifying the menu for us. Would absolutely come back again whenever I'm in downtown!

Most important: Go during happy hour, it's 31% off from 2-4pm and then I believe after 9pm. It can still be pretty expensive with this discount so I wouldn't really go without it. Qiao Lin uses some of the highest quality beef out of all of the hot pot restaurants I've been to - I highly recommend ordering the short rib and the other specialty beef dishes. I think all of the other dishes are pretty good but not super special. Get the Chongqing spicy broth, I usually get the medium level which is a bit spicy but super flavorful and delicious. Qiao Lin also has a fantastic snack/side dishes bar, I forgot exactly what they are (will update when I go back) but I really enjoyed it. The service is fantastic, a lot of the waiters are quite energetic and seem to enjoy their job. One of the waiters once gave me a couple of Melonas to go which I thought was super nice! The interior of the restaurant is nicely lit and designed, great vibes overall. 4.9/5

Felt this location still does not fall short. The server Noah went above and beyond for our experience checking in every couple minutes. His energy is unmatched. The quality of the meats felt fresh. Ordered the scallops, shrimp balls, beef brisket and beef tongue. Different kind of broths but my favorite are the level one spicy, tomato, and pepper pork tripe broth. Would recommend making a reservation to get into the secluded room away from the whole crowd. Sauces are create your own, and they have reference recipes if you are unsure.

Great hot pot in downtown Seattle! Takes reservations, fast and friendly service, and fresh and delicious ingredients. Beautiful decor too. Pro tip: ask for ice cream at the end of your meal! It's included :) The spicy soup base is SPICY. We got one out of three stars and it was already really hot. Super delicious, but be warned! Will be coming back!

With just the right amount of their house-seasoned soy sauce, it was perfection. The restaurant is small, and the dining room was completely full and buzzing with conversation. The AC was also extremely weak--to the point that it felt almost nonexistent. There were basically only two staff members serving the entire room, so while they weren't overly attentive, our water was refilled promptly and empty plates were cleared quickly. It was so loud that the waitress misheard our shrimp order, so we ended up waiting a little longer for the correct dish. However, it still arrived before the clay pot rice. We had already been warned that the clay pot rice takes more than 20 minutes to prepare, so it wasn't a problem. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for legitimate, fast-casual Cantonese food. Just look around the dining room--it was about 99% Chinese diners, so you know it's the real deal.

Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

She said she didn't clear the previous customer order and needed to delete the order that was on there so I can start one for ourselves. We got the ordering figured out they started bringing out the food. They brought the appetizers then the fried rice. We were hungry so we started eating the fried rice it was 1/2 gone when the entrees come out. They bring the items out as they are finished making them one or two at a time. The parking lot is small enough for about eight cars but the businesses next to it had plenty of parking so we park there and walked to the restaurant inside. Overall I give them a 4.5 because the ordering process felt a little impersonable and confusing. We didn't know what to do.
