Located minutes away from Westlake Link station, this place is near Seattle center. We made reservation and it was super convenient to get one and we were seated right away. The restaurant has a nice decor and everything felt quite fancy. Menu items seem great but the price is right and economical compared to other dim sum places like Dinh Tai Fung or Dough Zone. Taste is spectacular and they do not take too long after you order....it has a very casual environment and sometimes can be quite loud. Highly recommend

I don't get all the raving on this place. At one of the Amazon buildings and surrounded by several restaurants is this modernized XLB place. Elaborated bar with apparently emphasis on whiskeys, standard and spacious seating, and attentive services. So far so good. Then the foods came. They are eatably mediocre -- apparently more emphasized on form than flavors. For casual diners, they will go away with good feelings, as dishes are visually memorable. But if one tasted those dishes with intent, the conclusion must be "OK." Given similar ones are abundant in the area and a great one is setting the standard just few blocks away. I will come only if a host insisted on this place.

I love the Bellevue location of Supreme Dumplings, so I figured I'd like this one too! We came for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all. Service was quick and attentive. We got the regular xlb, spicy xlb, pan fried mini dumplings, mushroom fried rice, spicy wontons, cucumber salad, and green beans to share amongst the 6 of us. This was pretty much the perfect amount of food. I love their regular xlb, but I will say the spicy ones didn't hit as much this time. Their spicy wontons are always delicious though, and I enjoyed the fried rice too. For dessert we got the taro xlb which we all thought was exceptionally good. Good spot for a nicer lunch or dinner!

Had lunch on Saturday and place is really pretty with plenty of seating inside and outside options. We sat inside and ordered noodles, xia long bao and chicken with chilli oil. Xia long bai and noodles were delicious. The food quality is very similar to the one in Bellevue and this one recently opened in one of the amazon buildings . Worth the try but suggest reserving before going as it can get crowded. The service is great as always the staff is really courteous

Food: Xiao Long Bao (9/10) - These came out much quicker than at most places I've been to. They were steaming hot, flavorful, and not dry at all. Each dumpling had a good amount of soup filling, which I always look for. Shrimp & Pork Wontons (8.7/10) - Loved the spice level on these. They had plenty of filling and were packed with flavor. Spicy Cucumber Salad (8.5/10) - Not overly spicy, but very refreshing and tasty. Shanghai Scallion Oil Noodles (6/10) - The portion size was generous, but the noodles were pretty bland and lacked flavor. The egg was cooked well, though, with a perfectly runny yolk. Service: The staff was really friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the visit. Ambiance: The restaurant was much fancier than I expected and was clean. It has a polished atmosphere that makes it a great spot for dinner.

Went there during the Memorial Day weekend, afternoon. Maybe they were low on staff. Lots of tables were not cleared or cleaned. We were assigned to a small table which is suitable for 2 people. But I know we would not have enough space for foods. I asked for a bigger one and were told they need to be cleaned up first. When the food came, the staff had to use his tight to push a table next to our table to make a bigger one. No plate on the table, but was not wiped off the spilled food or sauce. The condiment such as ginger with dipping bowl were not provided before food nor after the food came. So, I have to asked for it. (While he was swiping on his phone). The pork siew long bao is comparable to din tai Fung. But, I would not recommend pork+crab, nor the fried pork bun. Parking is under the building. Free parking on weekend and validated parking on weekday.

Omg, so much deliciousness and such great interior decor! We came around 4 pm on a Friday and were seated immediately. They are very child friendly with the place setting, coloring sheet and menu. They had had a high chair and offered a to go cup with a straw for her ease of drinking. The og classic xiaolongbao was great and the spicy ones were even better. The skin was the best consistency and thinness to hold the filling and soup, loved it! The scallion oil noodle was so addicting and inhalable. The beef roll was delicious as well. The lava buns were so pretty and soft. It was not as lava as I would like but still a yummy filling. The walls, seating and plating were all amazing. The service could have been better but didn't detract from our dining experience. We would totally come back!

After our underground city tour, we were searching for a place to eat near our hotel when my son started craving dumplings. Supreme Dumplings turned out to be an excellent choice and, honestly, can rival Din Tai Fung when it comes to dumplings. There was a short wait for a table, but it wasn't long at all and was absolutely worth it. The restaurant was bustling with diners--a great sign--yet it still felt comfortable and welcoming. The bright dining room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, created an open and energetic atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly, which we especially appreciated since we were both pretty hungry after a long day of exploring. In fact, the food looked so good when it arrived that I kept forgetting to take photos before digging in! The star of the meal was definitely the xiao long bao (XLB). We ordered the classic pork XLB, shrimp and pork XLB, vegetarian XLB, and the Wagyu beef XLB, and every variety was outstanding. Each dumpling arrived with its delicate wrapper intact and a flavorful burst of soup inside--exactly what you hope for in great XLB. The Wagyu beef XLB was particularly memorable. The flavors reminded us of pho in dumpling form, with a rich, aromatic broth and savory beef flavor that felt both comforting and unique. The pan-fried dumplings crispy and excellent as well. We also tried the steamed chicken soup, which was rich, comforting, and even more enjoyable than I expected. Another standout was the spicy cucumber salad, which had a delicious mala kick that made it incredibly addictive. The sautéed string beans arrived a little later than the dumplings and were probably the least memorable dish of the evening. They were slightly saltier than I prefer, though I did enjoy the savory umami flavor from the mushrooms mixed in. For dessert, we ordered the taro XLB and steamed lava custard buns, and both were absolutely delicious. The taro filling was light and subtly sweet without being overwhelming, while the lava custard buns were soft, fluffy, and packed with rich, creamy custard. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Overall, Supreme Dumplings exceeded our expectations. Between the delicious food, quick and friendly service, and bright, lively atmosphere, this was a fantastic dining experience. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful dumplings in Seattle, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I was surprised and quite happy to find out that there is a Supreme Dumpling location in downtown Seattle. Love the XLB here and ironically my favorite dish here is the Wild Mushroom fried rice over the dumplings - though my order this time lack the amount of mushrooms than when I order at the Bellevue location. The interior is super nice, modern and up scale looking so I felt fancy. Due to the location, I suggest making reservations online during lunch and dinner hours, especially if you'll have more than 2 people. I walked over from my office so I'm not sure how parking is. Amazon parking is free after 4pm weekdays and all day on weekends. A bonus, the iconic retired Pink Elephant car wash neon sign is right out front!

We stopped by this location twice, honestly one of my favorite soup dumpling spots! In the past we go to their Kirkland and Bellevue locations. These dumplings are always good, thin skin, packed with flavor and soup. And you gotta get their shrimp fried rice, lots of wok hei. Their tan tan noodles were also packed with flavors, spicy and sesame! The string beans were a new favorite, love the mushrooms in this. Everything was really tasty and not salty which was perfect. Can't wait to come back soon!

4.3 stars overall. Delicious soup dumplings and potstickers. Thrilled to enjoy the South Lake Union location of this Bellevue xialongbao restaurant! - Friendly staff - Spacious, ample seating - Fast service - Same dishes as the original location. Recommend pork and crab soup dumplings, pork chop fried rice or mushroom fried rice (both are stellar), potstickers Love the convenient location!

Pretty good Chinese restaurant to try! We had their spicy shrimp/pork wontons, pork chop fried rice, and pork dumplings and it was pretty good! The pork chop went surprisingly well with the fried rice, as it was crispy and flavorful. The fried rice was made well too! I loved their pork dumplings. The soup was pretty tasty and the pork was delicious. The service was good! The server was nice and helpful and the food didn't take too long to make. The ambiance was great! The place is well organized, decorated and clean and there's a decent amount of seating. I definitely enjoyed the lighting as well!

Great vibe. Smaller dishes but upscale place and good enough food. Service can be a bit forgetful but dishes were good and fairly priced. Its nice and I would come back. The pan fried pie was the best, noodle dishes were fine, and the cucumber salad was ok. Not particularly floral or spicy, just tastes mostly oily.

I also waited until they are really closed to write this review (no need to write a 2 Stars review when they are already closing). Their food was rather bland and looked lifeless; in Chinese terms, that means no wok hei. The inside was filled with people who read the same Seattle Times article. The servers were very busy trying to keep up. We sat at a table that is normally used for themselves, looking at their statues of deities that have blessed with decades of business (despite meh food). The Food: Beef with Barleygreen Hand Shaven Chow Mein, $21 - 2 Stars We are big fans of hand shaven noodles (go to Spicy Talk). When I read about a barleygreen variant, I was totally - sign me up! These noodles are boiled and lightly stir-fried with minimum seasoning, oil, and flame in a way that I would have made at home. That is a low bar (no joke). These are pale, possibly seasoned with maybe salt only. It was a dull dish. The beef is separately cooked; those pieces have a touch more flame. House Special Barleygreen Hand Shaven Chow Mein, $22 - 2 Stars Same comment for this combination dish of shrimp, chicken, and squid - it is even more pale and lifeless than the beef version. Pork Steamed Dumplings or Xiao Long Bao, $15 - 2 Stars Though folks will argue the origins of XLB, Shanghai is one of the supposed origins. With a restaurant name that has Shanghai in it, I thought their XLB should be good. Wrong. The skin is thick, and they have the look of machine-made pinched tip. These are similar to ones that I can buy frozen in an Asian market. The only good thing is the inside does have broth.

Good dinner! Very tasty, served promptly, the tea was hot and fresh too. Not very crowded. Good…read moreatmosphere.

We went on a Wednesday around 6:30pm and had no wait to get seated. The restaurant has parking that is shared with many other vendors along a line, and I can definitely foresee parking becoming a issue during busy hours as there aren't a ton of parking spots - just to note during peak business hours. We were the only diners during our visit, so service was focused entire on us - I personally felt that the service could have been better as the waitress made us feel a bit rushed when ordering. The ambiance is casual dine in, with Chinese inspired decor. The lighting was a little bit off as it was pretty dim with a fluorescent color - unfortunately felt a bit like they were at closing time with the ambiance vibes. We ordered three dishes, which I'll review down below: Lions Head Meatballs ($25): I've had lion's head meatballs at another Chinese establishment on Eastside, and these are decent meatballs in comparison for very slightly cheaper. Tender and nice light flavor, it is nice that they are supplemented with bok choy as they are quite hearty. Salted Egg and Shrimp Tofu ($20): I think this was my favorite dish out of the three. Better quantity and the salted egg gives a nice creamy and subtle savory flavor, and goes nicely with rice. Tofu is cooked well, and there is a small scattering of shrimp throughout the plate. Shanghai Style Braised Kaofu ($15): A cold Shanghai kaofu is a classic dish that I've tried many times, and I think a restaurant should serve if they are Shanghainese. The kaofu has nice flavor - not too sweet and not too salty with a pleasing spongey texture. I only wished that the quantity was bigger for $15 - the spoon for scale really gives the impression of how large the plate was, and underneath the initial layer of kaofu you see in the picture, there unfortunately wasn't any more, just other components like bamboo shoots and woodear. Though most of the dishes had good flavor, the pricing was steep considering the amount of food you get for the price you pay. I left still feeling a bit hungry as Shanghai dishes are usually lighter and don't fill you up as much. Though there aren't too many other Shanghai restaurants to compare to on Eastside, I'll probably put Shanghai House at like a 3.5/5 in all things considered.

And surprisingly, pricing ($12.99) for the 5pc Sheng Jian Bao hasn't increased in the almost 2 years since my first visit. Their method of cook is traditional, bunching a large number of bao together with oil and water in an oversized and specialized pan just for this dish (with the required cover for steaming, of course). The quality remains the exact same as my first visit - good amount of fatty interior rendered aspic, strong umami and aromatic flavoring on the pork meatball filling, and a nice thin doughy skin. It's a very solid SJB, and probably the best that can be found in the Seattle metro.
