If you love heat, this place delivers The flavors are bold, the spice levels are real (not just for show), and everything tasted fresh. I ordered medium and it was already pretty spicy-so choose wisely! Great spot for spicy food lovers, but maybe not for the faint of heart.

I've been coming to Qi Wei Kitchen for over 15 years, and it remains one of my favorite dry pot spots. The food is always flavorful, fresh, and consistently delicious. Their mala dry pot is packed with ingredients and full of authentic flavor. The service is super friendly, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Great food, great value, and always worth coming back for more. Highly recommended.

    Very delicious!

Small and unassuming restaurant, don't just walk past! Quiwei is one of my go-to places I recommend when I'm hanging with a small group of friends and family! Asian mother and father approved. Delicious and highly recommend.

The food is good and has a large variety to choose from. You can adjust the spicy level as well as flavors. The waitress is friendly as well. She gives advice on food portions, so we know how much to order. The store looks clean and every table has hand sanitizer.

First time here and I was impressed! The mala xiang guo had great flavor and the perfect level of spice. The skewers were great, and the fried buns with condensed milk were so good. Everything tasted fresh and the service was friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

Probably the best dry pot place in Rowland heights area. The seasoning was so delicious in the dry pot. We got a variety of veggies and meat in our pot. I feel like because we got so much, they didn't put a lot of each since it would over fill. So please be mindful of how much you order! The ambiance was pretty good and it is family friendly.

We ordered the Big plate chicken to share, and let me tell you, it was phenomenal! The dish is a spicy chicken stew made with Sichuan peppercorns, cumin, and chili paste, and comes with handpulled noodles. It took about ten minutes for us to get a booth table, but we were waiting inside. The staff member called numbers firstly in Cantonese then in English. After we sat down, the waiting line persisted past 1 pm. Similarly, the bustling loudness continued on during the course of our meal. Food arrived quickly, however. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.
