It was time to try a new spot in RH and we were hungry so we randomly chose this one. Plenty of parking in the huge lot. Cozy spot inside with quite a good size space. And very nice friendly staff even with a bit of a language barrier. On to the food. This is authentic Northwestern Chinese cuisine so the flavors were deliciously interesting. My least favorite was the cold spinach peanut side. It was vinegary and just not suiting my palate but mom loved it. Next was the sautéed white fish with wood ear mushrooms which were delicate, fragrant and pleasing served hot. I thoroughly enjoyed the cold braised beef with chili, cumin, cilantro and cucumber. It looked it was going to burn my mouth but it didn't. It tasted of spice without the heat! Last but not least was my favorite. They call it meat bread. It's cabbage, sautéed sliced pancake, tiny slivers of meat. So you get chew, crunch and flavor. Unlike the more common Cantonese, this cuisine leans into texture with milder flavoring. Guo bao rou and sour pickled veggie with pork belly stew were my favorite two dishes. i saw some other reviews saying they have bad services but i actually had no problem with that at all. Our server were nice and prompt. The restaurant is quite small but they manage the seating quite well. They have 2 large round tables in the middle that can seat 10 people and rest smaller tables on the 2 sides. If you don't like crowd seating you might be bothered by it. read more

We visited this restaurant expecting a casual and enjoyable lunch. We ordered a potato chicken stew, but the potatoes tasted sour, like they had been sitting out for too long. But then, a man who appeared to be the chef came out from the kitchen holding the plate and shouted at us in front of other customers, saying: "Three people in the kitchen tasted it. There's nothing wrong. Don't come back here again." We were shocked. We had been calm and respectful the entire time. We weren't looking for compensation, just giving honest feedback. But instead of a conversation, we were yelled at and told to leave. After sharing this experience on social media (Little Red Book), I received many comments from others who had similar or even worse experiences here: including reports of poor hygiene, rude staff, and a complete lack of customer service. Apparently, this isn't a one-time issue. So here's my honest advice: If you're looking for a restaurant that values its customers and maintains basic cleanliness, do not come here.
