Four of our family members went in for manicures and pedicures in celebration of my daughter's labor and delivery. I made the appointment 3 days ago, and this morning she went into early labor, so it was good timing. The salon was very busy and our experience was so-so. Priced felt higher than average. My nail technician 'Abby' was indifferent and wasn't very engaged. Technically, she was fine, but just not personable. At any rate, I won't be returning to this particular salon. It was too chaotic and expensive

So I'm very upset will never return here EVER idk how they are still in business due to terrible service. I had got a basic manicure and the lady cut me so bad and lied to ME saying I had a scab on my finger...... I never have scabs on my hands I keep them clean and neat just for her to mess me up, not only that I asked for light clean up around my eyebrows and I got fucked up eyebrows instead. I have been coming in for over a year and two of my favorite nail techs are gone! i am very surprised because they both did nails very well & i would sit and wait however long until either were available, that is how good they were! Tran was my nail tech, i would get dip/gel nails but my natural nails are longer so she made sure the shape was perfect EVERYTIME. My pedicures were great every time too. Kevin also shapes my nails very well but doesn't do pedicures so you end up with someone random. I am interested to see who else can do similar work at this salon because now i am hoping no one messes up my nails and i need to go elsewhere. This place has terrible customer service. I went back after a disastrous dip nails SNS and offered them to fix it, they just gave my money back and said they had no time and couldn't fix it. First off my dipped looked like they just put nail polish over a press on so he tried to fix it with putting black nail polish over it which I was ok it looks better than it was I was wrong I don't know if the polish was old or expired but it's everywhere and smells bad! read more

There was a long wait time but it was ok since we were walk-in. The best thing about them is that they will text you when you are next ! So I was able to get a drink and run to another store just in time. The workers seemed friendly but we all know that they talk about you in their other language. And this is how I know they did, I took my daughter and she wasn't able to sit next to me since she got a mani and pedi while I only got a pedi and the one doing my nails said I was done so she started walking to the front with me but at this time I called my daughter to come with me since she was waiting in the middle to dry her nails. My original esthetician was great overall, but she accidentally missed a very small section on one side during my Brazilian. Mistakes happen, so I called and was told coming back to fix it would be complimentary. When I returned, a different esthetician saw me. The fix literally took maybe 3 minutes total, but instead of simply correcting the issue, she insisted the hair was still there because that area "isn't included" in a Brazilian service. I've been getting Brazilians for over 12 years and have never once had that tiny section intentionally left untouched..... just on ONE SIDE MIND YOU...so the explanation honestly felt dismissive and gaslighting....actually it didn't feel that way. It WAS that way. What made the experience worse was that after fixing maybe 10 hairs, she tried charging me $25 for a "touch-up" that was clearly correcting an honest mistake from the original appointment. The employee I saw around 1 PM on Saturday the 23rd of May seriously needs better customer service training. Customers come back when businesses handle small issues professionally and respectfully -- not when they're made to feel like they're wrong for pointing out a missed spot. Really disappointing experience this time. Train your employees how to handle this better and take accountability.

I had a fill with a nail tech that I trusted there, Tuan, and he was 35 minutes late to my appointment, no discounts or apologies were mentioned, I was in 3 days later as my gel nail polish was peeling off. This was only my second fill from my full set that was with another technician. Since my "fixing" another nail has broken and three of my nails are yet again peeling off. I called and requested to see my favorite tech, Ali, and was told rudely that she has her own life and has things to do. I tried again today, two days later, and spoke with the same girl at the front desk, she again rudely told me Ali was not in today. I asked if she happened to know Ali's schedule and she said "there is no set schedule, you just have to call and try". I am very disappointed on how this situation was handled, they definitely need their staff to be customer service savvy, and they are clearly not. I will definitely be seeking elsewhere since the girl at the front desk has made me feel like an inconvenience to her and this salon. read more

My nail were were so short from biting them, my cuticles and skin around my nails were outgrown. I came in with my grandmother who had an appointment (highly recommend to do), we asked if they had an opening if they could take me to do a basic manicure. It was very busy so it was unlikely but they fit me into the schedule. Made me feel so comfortable and welcomed even though everyone was running around. When I was finished I went to show them to my grandmother and the two ladies named Mickey and Michelle were there and also asked to look at my nails and told me how cute they were, what a great color and so much more, they made me feel confident and I will definitely be coming back. If you are disabled in any way or you are a person of color don't go to Rose she is a racist and a ableist! She will laugh and talk shit about your disability and rush you like your an inconvenience. She also demands for a tip for doing a mediocre job at best. She will rush every part of the process like that's not apart of her fucking job. She talked shit about this Hispanic girl next to me and I am Vietnamese and understood everything she was saying and made fun of this girl's disability and yanking this girls hand around even after she explained she had a wrist disability. I have been coming here since they opened, I've left many 5 star reviews and pictures every 2 weeks since. I've always been so happy never had a complaint. Until now my last visit. She cut me pretty bad on my ring finger and I feel like I was overcharged/charged twice for one thing. I'm super disappointed. I know "prices went up" but I was charged full set WITH gel polish AND charged for French curve. Idk just doesn't seem right. Also to charge for a shape idk just doesn't seem right. Been going here for over 2 years. My nails always look nice. If I've ever had a cracked or chipped nail Trish and Andy have always graciously fixed it, no charge. I like that they take pride in their work. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Trish and Andy!! It's May 18th and I'm back at the Qnail Bar. I just moved to the area from Washington. I use DIP powder and I'm very picky about my nails. I picked this place because of their Yelp ratings. I had Soon for my first visit and will continually book with him. I like the ease of booking online, which I highly recommend because they are always busy! They have a great selection of dip colors. I have never had a bad experience in Q Nail Bar. The wait is always minimal (if at all), the staff is friendly and engaging, their services are wonderful and competitively priced. They also tried to upsell through the entire service which was a bit pushy. My polish had a clump and the tech pretended not to see it. I still gave all the ladies a nice tip because it was the holiday season, and when I did they gave me a discount coupon for next time. I wish they would just give better service and people would come back. There are many places in the area a lot nicer than this one for the same price or less with better pedicure.
