While the flavor of my two rolls were pretty good, they were rolled terribly and came apart every time I'd pick a piece up. Also, I understand what they are trying to do presentation wise, but in all actuality it is just messy. All in all, if I didn't go back to this place again, I wouldn't be upset. This was my first time here and I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The value and quality for my money is awesome. An app, a really fancy sushi roll and a draft beer was under $20. The flavors on both blew me away! It's high praise, but I really think this might have been the best meal I have eaten in Spokane. The food is pretty good tasting BUT I know SO MANY people who have gotten violent FOOD POISONING. Two of my friends have gotten food poisoning in the last month there... on separate occasions. I tried to not let it concern me too much since my friend wanted to go last night, so I went and ordered cashew chicken. It was pretty good but my friend ordered a General Tsos Bento Box and woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. In the last month THREE PEOPLE I KNOW HAVE GOTTEN FOOD POISONING. Staff is fun and friendly, place is clean and even the non sushi items are delicious. Fish is ALWAYS fresh and delicious, presentation is amazing, all of their specialty rolls are a party for your tastebuds! This is a five star hole in the wall restaurant that will hopefully grow into a larger space someday. I came with two other people and ordered a sashimi dinner (I forgot the specific name of it, but I believe it was $18) - it came with ample amounts of fresh fish and a side of rice. We sat at the bar so we were able to watch the food being prepared. From service to presentation to taste, everything was superb and fresh. The staff was attentive and our service prompt. Brought a date here because where there's sushi--well there I have to be. I dream about raw fish. More specifically I dream about eating raw fish. I would make it a daily occurrence if my wallet would stop screaming at me. QQ Sushi is a fabulous addition to the 5 Mile area. It's tucked away in the same strip mall that houses Jo-Ann Fabrics and Rosauers. In the dark it took some wandering through the parking lot before I actually found it. The space itself is very small...I'm guessing 7-9 tables max. The decor is eclectic with everything from Audrey Hepburn and Charlie Chaplain gracing the walls to small Asian figurines. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. The chef has quite the artistic eye. Some of our dishes came out looking very decorative. I loved it. The Aloha roll was delicious. The waitstaff were attentive but not overbearing and I think that can be a difficult balance in such a small space. When we were there it wasn't overly crowded and that made the entire experience very relaxed. If you live near 5 Mile you should feel blessed to now have great sushi so close by and if you're a 15 minute drive away--well you should still make the trek. It's worth it. read more

There's some parking around the strip mall so access isn't too bad. Service is fast and efficient. The menu is small but adequate, with lots of sushi options and some non sushi options. There's also a very small but adequate beer and wine menu. Started with the crispy chicken, which was wonderfully fried and delish. I had the volcano roll, which was awesome. It wasn't too spicy, but a nice touch that wasn't overpowering. It was super fresh and beautifully presented. Husband had the general tso's tempura box, which was huge! Seriously, good main course portion. Tempura veggies were fried to perfection. Gyoza were delicious. I ate the accompanying Cali rolls which were super fresh, super delicious, and had a very nice depth of flavor - unusual for something so run of the mill like a Cali roll. Prices were reasonable.
